David saying he has a doctor appt on Thursday when Michael asks how much time he has always cracks me up, such a subtle joke
Help, I dont get it.
I can’t get over how David Wallace gets looked at by Michael the same way he Jan and everyone else looked at Michael.
Unemployed Dwight is one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the show. The draining of energy, the fake speech of hope that he gives himself, the motivation leaving him bit by bit after every failed interview. Hits a bit too close to home for me
I wish that travel saleman and the return never existed
It’s all good. Life keeps moving even if at times it feels like it’s literally going nowhere, it still keeps moving. Best thing you can do is try and steer it somewhere else. Don’t give up :)
That sad little thumbs up at the end. You just want to give him a hug
Are you doing ok?
100% that was me all summer after I just graduated college. Luckily I’m now employed and go/ leave work happy. Just letting you know with dedication it gets better I promise.
4:15 Jan is ignoring Michaels joke about James Bon(fire) and talks about being miserable, Holly would've probably said "And I'm his Bongirl" or something along the lines...
And because Michael is the reason why she has that space to smell the candles for her bad feelings "puf", to go away.
just like that?@@redacted2275
But that’s the point of Jan’s character
she was always miserable, it was clear from the start that they are not a good fit.
I didn’t realize that most of the unemployed characters were at one point in management positions.
Makes sense. A lot of times when companies restructure middle management and even senior management roles are affected. It also takes longer to find equivalent jobs afterwards
@@turkeyjerky3689 You get better unemployment and have better savings/security however... managers getting regularly fired or losing their jobs while lower level employees stay for 9 years is something you only see in a fictional show
@@turkeyjerky3689 where tf u work at lmao😂
Kevin IS SO REAL. He is such a good friend and tells it how it is because he cares. Whether it be telling the Senator off about Oscar/Angela or telling Andy his life sucks, he keeps it real. Not to mention multiple times where he's willing to throw down for the sake of his friends.
"like benjamin button in reverse" kills me every time 😭
Bro im here high af hearing that and thinking wait wtf and actually thought about it and was like wait wtf
A nice, subtle thing no one ever comments on is how David’s wife is clearly worried about him when he’s unemployed.
No, she's annoyed by Michael.
nah she was obviously in a not-so-great mood with the shoes comment before she saw michael@@redacted2275
@@redacted2275I always got the feeling she wanted Michael to help David in some sort of way
Yeah I thought she seemed happy that David was connecting with Michael. She was hopeful it could lead to David doing better.
sad when your man loses his direction and drive in life. Women want security , david don’t strike me as having many friends just many business associates. So i felt she thought michael would motivate him in some way.
Michael's line of "This is what I HAVE to come home to" rather than what he gets to come home to is so great
Good catch. I love how good Carell is at twisting expression and phrases into freudian slips.
That’s not what he meant. He meant it’s what he possessively has to come home to, not what he is forced to come home to.
“I feel weak today, i felt better yesterday, just like Benjamin Buttons in reverse” - Michael Scott
6:20 the fact that kevin made more sense than anyone in that room is crazy
They were all beating around the bush to be polite. They all knew this was the worst thing to ever happen to Andy, Kevin just had the balls to say it.
@@chebaca8Andy has a history of mentaI instability. Everyone considered that at that moment except Kevin. Sometimes I get scared with how out of touch some comments sound in this channel...
@@redacted2275 Well...yeah that's my point. Your arguing with the wrong guy here. The guy you should say this to is the comment above mine.
If your saying they were just trying to protect his feelings I agree with you. That's why I said they were being polite.
I'm also not trying to condone Kevin's behavior, but that needed to be said to him. Its the truth even if he didn't want to hear it. However, I wouldn't have done it in front of everyone, but hey its a show.
@@chebaca8 He means it's not about Kevin having balls, he just fails to understand the situation.
@@redacted2275 so you also prefer fantasy land good to know haha
When you realize that Jan eventually makes Michael sleep at the foot of the bed lol
Michael's space/spot was not added yet
@@freescoring in the honeymoon phase still lol
"He fits perfectly!"
Roy’s DUI mugshot kills me!🤣👌
2:43 amazing how Davids beer is just gone in one second
It got sucked up!
@@FutureDeep 😅
It’s Yuengling, those go fast
“Everybody deserves a second-second chance.”

How awesome is David Wallace tho? Despite losing his job he is still so good with his family.
is it weird that I really like David Wallace? He’s the DILF😅
I’m dying when 7:50 Pam’s ex said he had drunk driving arrest he had just jacked up hair and looked like mascara around his eyes.
Do you not see the damage to his face? Looks like upper eyes are swollen, hence the droopiness. Of course, it's all makeup, but where's the eyeliner?
Wait, im thinking of black eyeliner xD it does look like there is some red/pink
I'm unemployed, And the timing couldn't have been more perfect.
Dont worry g, I hope u find a job that u truly enjoy 🙏
Was unemployed the first half of the pandemic (health issues/concerns). You go absolutely crazy after a week or so after
If I didn't have to worry about paying bills I'd be unemployed in a heartbeat... I can find fulfillment in my personal life so much easier than in any job I've had.
@@delong71487 for me its the reverse, I don't really have to worry about money I've always been fortunate enough to pay my bills but I need to stay busy otherwise I get bored and want to claw my eyes out
I've been unemployed since 2010. Probably am a little crazy.
Depends how you use your time. I was unemployed for a month and it was great I finally got around mixing and releasing my bands short EP. It was a fun month for me.
Do you have no hobbies? Lol
“Maybe we’ll go outside” camera zooms into Michael’s face while the drums is playing in the background is the best part
I just realised, in the scene with Andy and the dogs, there is Champion, the three legged dog!
I’ve been looking for this comment to see if anybody else noticed
3:53 That face by Jim😂
Just after he took a whiff of the room he’s like 🤢
"How much time do you have?"
"I have a Doctor's appointment... Next.. Thursday.."😅😂
David Wallace's kid can really play the drums...good stuff.
David Wallace Living a noisy life in hell. Jan making Michael’s life like living in hell. Andy’s dogs in hell and Kevin is the smartest man in the room. They saved Poor Toby, the saddest, for last
If I'm not mistaken, in the scene with Roy he isn't unemployed, and they forgot about the time Ryan quit to go after Kelly in season 9 and he is at the bus stop with his clothes in trash bags 😅
I never realized there is Champion, the dog from Parks & Recs in this scene ! 5:57
mike was out her rocking crocs before crocs were cool
“These are prime selling hours” 💀
What no once ever mention is that those that leave the company and start their business actually end up doing well. David Wallace sold his invention for millions to NASA. Jan becomes successful and Dwight buys the building.
Yeah I watched the show, so know this already.
Roy started the successful gravel company too
7:35 interviews back at the office in the conference room way after the event 9:06
5:54 me with every daily task
Omg, I appreciate these compilation clips so much!! ❤️🙏 It really helps bring some levity into my otherwise difficult life…
David Wallace was always one of my favorite characters. He’s just so real! (and apparently not even a professional actor from what I’ve read? I read he actually is a corporate guy? 😄) This whole scene of him with Michael is priceless. 😂❤️👍 And I rarely ever laugh at Kevin, but the scene here around 7:40 has me DYING!! “And by sometimes I mean all times…all the time…s…every of the time…” 😂😂😂
2:12 : those 2 unemployed friends at 2 PM on a Wednesday
Being unemployed it’s hard and it’s shtty sometimes but it shouldn’t be a reason to minimize ourselves or people like being employed means success automatically
Best show ever I love this😂😂😂😂😂😂
the roy mugshot 😭😭
This is a hard watch, I feel bad for all of them. Amazing show.
Kevin a real one, after what he said to andy
"I am bonfire, James Bonfire" followed by that point always cracks me up!
I like to think the documentary crew spent a while hunting down Roy’s mugshot to flash it on screen while he was opening up on camera😅
cuddi is in the hot ton with a t-shirt on probs still got the work flow pants on too 😂
Isn't Prison Mike technically unemployed?..😂😂..he should've made the list
They have jobs in prison you know
@@joeslinky but is that being employed?
He's a Presidential Son Kidnapper. Pays very well if you never got caught. neither.
His job is pushing people up against the wall biaaatchhh
@@tolulopeoluleye5302 Yes, by the prison. They make a wage and have to file taxes on that income
“I feel weak today, I felt much stronger yesterday” I’ve said this maybe 15 time in real life and people always look at me weird
Gets a laugh like a quarter of the time
This is what i have to come home to.
Anyone else notice the actor who played Wallace's wife is the same actor who played the insurance agent in Better Call Saul?
“That’s what I have to come home to” 😅
the subtitles "I beg in my crocs" make it even funnier
😂
You know that's not the line right
@@roachdogg-ex that’s what makes it funnier lmao
@@Atty1997 I'm stupid I didn't even realize you said "the subtitles '
4:50 Michael literally has egg on his face............and crocks
I have doctors appointment next Thursday.
Shout out to my fellow unemployed folks, watching this on their day off from not working
Roy wasn’t unemployed at that moment
Is that Champion from parks and rec at 6:10?!
Kevin is so real for that 😂😂😂
6:20 kevin was so real for that
David Wallace really is the quintessential Tom Hanks character lol
As an unemployed individual this was depressing
Make it motivating. You got this
Currently unemployed and this is kinda hurting bad.....
😥😥 That sucks! So sorry to hear it. Hang in there!
Sorry to hear that- it will end soon! Look after yourself
You got this
“I got egg in my crocks. 😠”
Ouch…right in the empathy -.-
"but one would be good"
poor david wallace. had a cushy job for a while and was used to his rigid life and enjoying nice things. Then he crashed out and had no direction.
I see Comedy Bites hired the Kitchen Nightmares social media person to do their titles
“Like Benjamin button in reverse” 😂 such an underrated line
Heartburn has entered the chat
Come on, Michael was not unemployed. He was becoming the paper business tycoon and owner of Michael Scott Paper Company that, in their heydays, become a real threat to Dunder Mifflin.
I say “every of the time” daily
Isn’t that champion from parks and rec ?
everybody needs a kevin in their life
as sad as the situation with dwight was, i knew he would find a job and succeed at it eventually. his drive, ambition, and motivation is second to none, maybe to a fault at times but dwight was gonna succeed at anything he would’ve done
The disintegration of Andy when unemployed makes me work harder at work 🙏🏽
Lmaoooooo for real
...... i clicked this in the middle of i have egg in my croc video and somehow it just connected
where is kevin clip after dwight fired him
And here I am.. no longer employed 😅
3:28 ever housewives dream
Sleeping off multiple bottles of wine in the middle of the day? 😋
Deep depression?
2:27 AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HEARD THE WHATSAPP DESKTOP NOTIFICATION SOUND IN THIS SCENE?!?!?!?!
Poor Toby
Champion is in the office?
the hot tub scene with michael and david wallace makes me more uncomfortable than the most cringy episodes of the office. the awkwardness is too much lmao
its like a shot-vac
did he mention that?
That is definitely not David Wallace’s kid
I'm unemployed at the moment 😢
Roy being dumped by Pam doesn’t mean he’s unemployed. As he is having a talking head while in uniform in the warehouse.
2:08
Been unemployed before. Not fun.
i found it fun
@@Xchax3if food water and shelter were treated as necessities and not commodities then yes absolutely. I don’t need to be employed to work. Work is completely subjective
