    Im so happy you guys did this, Tomi isn’t reacted to nearly enough! It’s so insane he’s this talented and still so young. Can you imagine how he’s going to be when he gets to Geoff and Tim’s age??

      That'll be around 18 years from now. To give you an idea, in the last 18 years, Geoff went from bottoming out around C2/B1 to easily reaching down to B0. He also added around 8 semitones to his chest register (from C2/B1 to F1/E1).

      Do you upload any of your own stuff, I would love to hear it, I am not a true bass but I am a low Baritone with a bass register and I will be making acapella stuff when I get my mic set up. My current range is D2-B4 chest, C5 to around F5 head voice (on a good day) and D1-D2 in subs and growl. I am hella jealous of Marwan in the bass gang specifically, I am 19 and he is 17 with the second subharmonic B0 professionally recorded in the scene, I cant even get a B1 chest.

    • @calebbasssinger
      @calebbasssinger Год назад

      @@upsidedownpyramid7617 Marwan is insanely dedicated to his crafts and I really respect him for it. At 17 I could only hit G#1 in chest, Eb1 in growl and D1 in subs on a good day and here he is with his beautiful range. I'm 22 now and have sung E1 and multiple F1 chest notes in my RUclips Shorts, as well as insane feats like fry Bb-1 and subharmonics to G0 and even came up with a very hard to mix subharmonic that uses the actual sub as the constant note while applying what I dubbed Tongue Vibration Bass to further a subharmonic. Think second subs but with tongue vibration bass an octave lower. Enough about me, I just wanted to put into perspective how actually talented and dedicated Marwan is and how he will easily become one of the most praised Bass singers of our time if he keeps it up. He can beatbox, do all the fancy tricks, compose so well it makes me jealous even though I'm going in for a degree in composition, and boy that kid can sing. Out of the entire Bass Gang although I love them all individually, I can't help but see Marwan as easily the one with the most potential. He'll definitely far outshine me at any rate and I want to see him grow.
      What are your accomplishments though? Any lower chest notes, learn any new techniques? I do overtones, learning throat bass, first and second subs, growls etc. I'm always learning and excited to teach, so if you have something to share I'd love to hear.

    • @upsidedownpyramid7617
      @upsidedownpyramid7617 Год назад

      @@calebbasssinger I would love to learn more about it, as I am more of a multi instrumentalist, but vocals and mixing/mastering are two things I am trying to learn more about. I am currently attending FSU with a minor in jazz, and in terms of Florida's public universities, mine has the most prestigious music programs'. I currently play jazz trombone here, I also play trumpet, tuba, guitar, bass, baritone, a little saxophone, keys, and harmonica. As a vocalist I am more of a low baritone than a bass but I have achieved as high as G5 in my head and mixed voices, and I can get to around an A1 or a B1 in chest, although like most people who aren't oktavists, my full chest can only get around a D2, those lower notes are more of a chest dominant chest fry, which most range people consider to be a real chest note in terms of range. I also beatbox a bit so between bass singing and beatboxing I have learned throat bass, subharmonics, chest fry, growl, vibration bass, chest bass, fry, and a little inhale (Which I can use to hit inhale whistles up to E6) My lowest chest is around an A1 where chest fry starts, my lowest sub or throat bass is a very solid B0 I recorded recently, my growl is about a C1, my fry is about a G0.

Ich frage mich, wie das als Song für ein Spiel gemacht wurde und jeder hype darauf. Was denkst du

    NO SUBHARMONICS! Tomi P's low notes rely on Ingressive sound technique ( like Tim Foust going for growls & chest-fry and Geoff for Subharmonic). Basically by breathing inwards through mouth and/ or nose. Tomi P only one besides Geoff often going 2 octaves at once though Tomi also including Whistle note register. The latter not unusual for a bass to use but so often in his repertoire... O_O
