What im wondering too. Website says "Am7 is not compatible with iPhone/iPad with USB-C connector. When connected to an iPhone/iPad, Am7's headphone output is fixed at maximum volume and cannot be adjusted." Anyone with personal experience to weigh in?

Honest question: Why would zoom choose an ms design for their only android mic? It an old format with phase issues.
MS only has phase problems if the mid mic is a shotgun. These will be ♥& 8, so no problems. Even less problems in mono, as only M is used.
I love this thing! just wish it had it's own speakers so i didn't have to unplug it, just to hear how it sounds on the phone 😅

To record audio without video, we would recommend using the Zoom Handy Recorder App. or the built-in Recorder app on your phone.
