I really hope some day to name one of my future children Martin and sing this song as a lullaby to him. A dear deceased mentor of mine was named Martin and the Redwall series holds a special place in my heart.
I listened to this on the audio book! I already heard this song, and I was so excited to get to it on the audio book for the first time today! I loved the build up to the song.
I just read this particular chapter of "Salamandastron", and tried to imagine how this poem would actually sound... and then I find it on youtube xD. But I think my favorite song from "Salamandastron" will always be "Pull, boys, pull!"
