Marlfox and a couple other books (such as Pearls of Lutra) don't have a regular unabridged recording like most of the books do; I believe there's only an abridged cassette tape version of those, which probably wouldn't have the songs. I think he gets these songs from the audio CDs rather than cassette tape.
