Michael Purdy thanks Michael- the trick is to really know the can ur working with. That clear I used has a drastically different fan than the base coat can- which caused the sags in the first place. I really need to take my own advice: "Know the fan of your can". 😂😂😂
Nice video. Really interesting to see those sags come out and clean up. Quick question if you have a minute. Do you use a special clear coat on tanks that will stand up to petrol? I've heard a lot of them will dissolve if you get spill on them. Thanks for the vid and hope the hands are mending.
@@HouseofDavidMC Bummer!! I've been doing a bit of reading about the 2pac clear coat in a can (Eastwood 2k clear coat) that will stand up to fuel. I'm starting on a GN project much the same as yours, so I'll let you know how it goes when I get to painting and if they are worth the money. Thanks for the videos too mate, they are a great help.

unfortunately, I don't use any special clear coat, and gas will still eat at the finish :(
