OMG! The poor rich people!
They had their time enjoying the neighborhood while the weather was good. They should consider this as a small tax😅
Lol!
I see u didn’t make it in life
IT'S THE WONDER OF NATURE, BABY 👈 Barn Burner-Twister
Greetings ☕🫖 good evening dear brothers and sisters 🌧️🙏🏻 losing your home is very devastating 😔 having no place to go and having no family to help you is even worse
God got tired of hearing y'all complaining about drought conditions ....and he has a sense of humor...here ya go
I'm from California stay safe everyone
Praying for Mrs Dion 🙏🏼 and all those affected!
This is crazy way too much rain ☔ in a short period of time
The rain in Vegas has been WONDERFUL. We're going to have all sorts of flowers for spring. Too bad about LA.
ITS NOT MOTHER NATURE ITS CALLED THE WRATH OF GOD WAKE UP SEEK GOD BEFORE ITS TO LATE THE WORLD NEEDS TO REPENT AND SEEK GOD AMENN
It’s amazing that every new storm is record breaking! I grew up in Van Nuys in the early 80’s and my backyard had at least 5 feet of water in it. It looked like a bath until my dad opened up one of our side gates to let the water out. This is just Mother Nature giving us what we need yet it’s another record breaker. Give me a break.
I lived in So Ca for 50 years and the news reporters know where to go that show the worst possible areas. They all show up at the same corners even at the same time.
It's not newsworthy.
And you know it.
And I s not historic!
Yes.
Fake news.
@TC-zf1ji how far are you from Fairfield please. Can't get ahold of my parents. Any Info on that area if you don't mind?
Not true.
So u mean the houses weren’t destroyed?
lol so you'd like them to add "but if you live another hundred miles inland, just light rain there! sucks to be in LA county, reporting here at KTLA" at the end? would that make you feel included and important? @@TC-zf1ji
When you over build / develop and take out all the trees this is what happens ! Stop building homes on the side of a mountain !
The sidewalks haven't been that poop free in years
Yeah this is unfortunate but look at the bright side the air is probably cleaner than its been for awhile and the streets all get a free wash lol
Mmhmm, a good mud washin.
Building houses downstream what could possibly go wrong!! Insurance companies are running out of California 😮
Climate Chg hits all states.
That’s not why they’re running.
Downstream from what? What are you even talking about?
Prayers to the city of LA
Oh please, your "prayers to your imaginary sky man" mean nothing. People are losing their lives and homes, because Americans refuse to accept the science of Climate Change.
F LA
i feel so bad for that poor woman in baldwin vista! 😢
Prayers for one and all Jesus loves you so dearly❤
Me in the high desert wondering whats all the commotion going on about floods..😂 yall be safe
These areas along the southwest coast are just not meant to be this heavily populated. We have seen the fires, floods, and mud/land slides destroy communities and increasingly so in the past few years.
Must have been a COMMUNIST storm overtaking California.
The fact that these people who live on hills are surprised by a hill slide is lost upon me….is common sense completely gone from California residents?? Yes.
Stay safe everyone 🙏
Im in Oceanside and the rain has not stopped. I will not drive in this. It is really scary...
May God bless all these people who are affected.😢
Dangerous to live on or below a hillside. Or in a flood plane. Or near the ocean. Or next to a creek. In tornado valley. In a heavily forested area. In earthquake central. In a delta below sea level. Let’s face it anywhere is a possible natural disaster.
Basically.. Can’t control Nature
We hear teslas can be used as a floatation Device....😂
People shouldn’t act surprised and bummed after this happens when they knowingly lived in a home on a hill side.
You are looking at the shear power of DWR's weather modification.
Climate change
@@jackiepaper101it’s called El Niño
I live off a dirt lane in Perris and our street and front yard is flooded
I use to live in Perris for 6 years. It's difficult to imagine flooding there. Stay safe..
@LouisRusso2005

We have been praying for this, especially Lakemead. We provide the water for Los Angeles and other states . We need this. Since when do you wish for less rain ???
I live in Piru, just some light rain today.
What are you doing in Peru site seeing the Nasca Lines?
@@HarleyDavidsonVince Piru, CA it's in Ventura County
Is that in Canada@@wandasays5438
The sky is falling
So sad this is as bad if not worse than 1983 was and I will never forget that event. Left California 3 years ago but lived there from birth to 59 so I certainly know the catastrophies.
Historic? 🤣🙄
Just like LA to say we need to evaluate the situation with bureaucracy and geological surveys instead of getting equipment in there to make a difference. California
Crazy
She got a months worth in a night… she wasn’t ready for it to be such a soaker. She’s been in a drought and hasn’t been wet like this in some time. A little over two inches rocked her to the hills
The drought has been 20 years long..😮
🤣🤣🤣
I can’t imagine losing my home like that. I hope they’re insured.
They'll deny the claim or tell them they need to sue their neighbor. Insurance never takes responsibility that we pay them for.
They def sueing that neighbor for his retaining wall not being maintained. I looked at a google earth image of his wall and you could tell it was in bad shape.
@@kevind1980 have to wonder how many times sales are made without these inspections & disclosures.
❤if you stick rod in hill it will go down 6 feet-cut down growth and let summer sun to dry out soil-it may take two summers-slides can be repacked-may take two efforts-chain link-dams may help-experienced from whittier hills-happen because was neglecting hillside-culvert on top-but drained into neighbors back-plugged up-once neighvor on top drained his pool into it-my property-good luck
When everything is historic.....nothing is historic.
Every year Southern California gets record amounts of rain with a new buzz word to hype it up 😂
Its been a 20 year drought so I dont know what you are talking about...
They’re talking about how SCal folks panic over some drizzle and lose all sense of driving.
So when a little El Nino hits, it’s ‘apocalyptic’🤣
@@donkedic1 If you thinking Im just sitting in drizzle you are incorrect. It has been raining non stop for 40 hours. Im from Chicago so I can take weather.. but this? Ive never experienced.. It is real bad here. Oceanside, Cali.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾‼️‼️‼️
4:15 you build homes on and near hills that are made of MUD, and you don't expect that it can happen?
4:16 Young Zoolander!
What a time to be an Uber driver!
My 3-story home in Panorama City, where water works would probably come by next month if I wanted this type of work to be done on my property, all those areas would get the help sooner today because there are million-dollar homes
I thought the historic storm of 82-83 was the biggest ever since weather has started being recorded?
Always "Historic" whenever ever it rains there. Should be asking where all that water going? Fault lines maybe? Hmmmm .
Psalm 135:7
He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth;
Who makes lightnings for the rain,
Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
True that. GOD controls "mother nature."
Weather modification.
Been happening every year! Omg!
I'm rooting for Mother nature.
Shame on the city not clean ing the pipes and sewages on a regulars basis. 😂😂😂
Looks like some good fishin.
Officer, we slowed the jet stream. This is our fault.
Only God can stop this outburst of Nature. I will pray too😢
Lord Jesus Christ control the weather
Human weather modification.
Seems like most of these homes were their second homes.
These people evacuated to vacation homes, didn’t even stick around to build sandbag walls or protect their properties at all.
Yes, some houses will slide. They always do. Even without rain. They slide. Get over it folks!
Why are you so angry? At who?
I love Californians , always chill and polite even in disasters
Ha thanks. Just described my whole life 😂
Cuz we know the sun will be shining soon 😂
Building out every conceivable corner and hillside, sucking the southwest dry to make it happen.... Irony at its most obvious, a tragedy no doubt.
profiles in we are not supposed to be here
Mud and boulders??? Not BOULDERS!?!?
Looks like the Almighty trying to shake the hearts of those in Calif to turn from all their wicked ways before he casts His judgements upon them...
County works department does not keep the drains cleared although we pay them to in our property taxes that’s part of the disaster when it rains and I’ve never seen a report on this
Send more migrants Abbot
The word “unprecedented” vocabulary
Is Micah Olhman a real person or just a Corporate AI Hologram? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait till a hurricane hits this year and not a tropical storm a real hurricane with direct landfall if they can barely handle this when watch when that happens
Unfortunately it's not historic and it could be much worse as compared to the great California Flood of 1862. It followed 20 years of drought and flooded 1/4 of the State after rain came down for 43 days straight.
Yep that’s definitely LA they had to get the suv with the snorkel for driving under water out of a little tiny bit of debris 😂
Not all surprised So Cal folks are panicking over rain.
People from the east coast are looking at us like 🤦🏻♂️
SoCal drivers are just dumb.
That’s absolutely horrible for those people and it’s not over. I feel so awful for them and how frightening that had to be to have that come into their home while in there? Thoughts and prayers for all affected. I really hope California and the federal government has money to help get these people help. Maybe less money for illegals and more saved for infrastructure and repairs.
Repairing it or just watching it 😅
stay away from flooded roads. don't drive into flooded areas. if you are told to evacuate, do it..
Insurance CO-sorry act of god, no coverage.
What makes it historic?
Will anybody remember it 2 months later?
No.
all i know is i live in the high desert in cali and last year was a hell of a lot worse to where the mojave river had to flow through my town, this year we are getting drizzles. just a way for the weather people to finally make there money and say its raining outside lol'
S*** for a moment there I thought that lady was going to blame Trump 2024
ALL. THIS. ON. MONDAY FEB 5, 2024
Vera
Looking very old
Why do they rebuild on that landscape
Been dry in Seattle this week 🤷🏻♀️
That’s not even true, it’s been raining here on and off 😂
Poor Karen 😢
5:58 why did anyone ever think it was a good idea to build homes in those hills? LA will be deserted in 50 years if it isn’t already in the ocean.
There are homes built on hills all over the world....
😮🙏🙏🙏
Hopefully Dion can stay at Karen Bass house.
Looks like clay-can soak up a lot of water
Every time theirs a heavy rain, news calls it historic!
The reason it is historic is because of so much rain. Im in it now and it is very scary. Im from Chicago so I am used to heavy weather. But this rain now is scary! And it will not stop till Thursday..
Start surfing and body boarding
Why would a person in California have a home below a hill or on the side of a hill?
But it never rains in S Cal until climate chg.
So you’re in your twenties and “never” means in your very short lifetime?
A typical California storm used to amount to several days of light to moderate rain. These now annual biblical deluges started in 2017.
Same year they started happening all over the globe, because the atmosphere is getting way too hot.
Wait, the talking heads keep telling us we're in a dtought...
Its nature we are in the way 😂
I have a question 🙋🏻♀️ why is everyone who works for the media and upper people always wearing purple ?hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder why?
Everyday they wear purple or blue or yellow
Not a stupid conspiracy theory haha. They wear colors that won’t show up on the green screens behind them
This is one of the reasons that EVs must not be pushed.
What the hell does rain and EV’s have to do with each other? Get a clue.
Poor Ukraine... 😢
This is happening in southern California right now.
Watch movie called Geostorm
Plan your week, she is nuts.
Keep voting Democrat😅😅😅
How to say: “I’m a political fanatic, without saying I’m a political fanatic.” It’s weather genius. Not a political debate.
если бы мы смотрели фильмы на этом языке)) нас бы тошнило
I need the IG of that cute curly haired blond guy. 🥰
The way he was talking, I immediately thought he’s for sure a RUclipsr or TikTocer or something.
They're not feeling the power of "Mother Nature." They are feeling the power of God's Judgement!
I agree. Only pagans believe in Mother Nature.
Sounds more like your judgement.
