- My first guide ever made, which was for my cousin who requested it. I hope the information is correct. Sorry if the beginning was a bit fast, I recorded before figuring out what I was going to say.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Kazuha's isn't technically "Sunfire", but just a "pyro infused burst". Jean is the one "true Sunfire", but I decided to include Kazuha here because it's basically the same thing. "Big circle swirling pyro."

The way people have been talking about this team comp lately I had expected it to be more complicated. I was considering building Jean for this team, but it seems that Kazuha would be better for it since he is always going to be built for swirl reactions. I think I'll keep my current build for Jean so she can act as an on-field attacker who heals herself. Maybe that will end up useful some day 😅

Jean swirl is faster than Kazuha tho and her energy much better , that's why sunfire is "Bennett and Jean"
@@nansssa9125 energy is hardly an issue with kazuha. Idk what you mean by speed but I would take the better cc and elemental dmg bonus over "better energy and speed"

@@2crisp63 sunfire is not complicated, what is complicated and mainly expensive it sot have it built for max damage. You need shit ton of EM, and arguable 2-3 of the best supports in the game on 1 team.

i thought it was like a lot more complex then i noticed im already sunfiring since i always use kazuha + bennett, is just too great, it saves you a lot of time on domains like the cryo talent books domain or even the annoying hydro one for weapons, and since kazuha has a great swirl dmg is great specially while fighting abyss heralds or like oceanid minions (sometimes it wont proc they just keep attacking you making kazuha more hydro than pyro, but if used correctly you will sunfire)

@@2crisp63 The name originally came from the Jean+Bennet combo, as Kazuha wasn’t released at that time.
Since you usually don’t run double healers, this was a rarer scenario than nowadays.
And while the effect is similar an Kazuha, the name „Sunfire“ (see the League of Legends item) implies a burning aura released from the character, which is strictly speaking also only happening on Jean.
Sunfire is awesome. You can pair it with just about any elemental skill except Geo

@@ohyouknowhowitis back to the Abyss 1.5 (or 1.6, I dont remember exactly), those Abyss Herald shields are really annoyed. The fastest team to take down those shields is Bennett Thunder Fury with Jean sunfire.

You can watch this video, he broke the shields in only 10s. At that time, many people spent 30s and more so they didnt have enough time for a full star clear.

Does a sunfire with jean + kazuha pyro swirl will apply enough pyro to make a fast hydro dps vape all of the attacks or does the Hydro aura take vantage and the pyro is the one that vape?
Kazuha's E Skill can also Sunfire Pyro (Bennett's E and Q both, if anyone doesn't know this).

I was recently fighting a Mirror Maiden and I used Bennett's E and the grass went on Fire and then I used Kazuha's E, and boom, a Fire Explosion same as Jean's Ult. :O
Can somebody test this again? Correct me if i am wrong. :)

What artifacts should I put on Jean?
If you're playing sunfire with both Kazuha and Jean, what set do you put on Jean/Kazuha (who's using the VV)
u can go hybrid build on jean with glad/VV for extra healing and dps, and since kazuha role is mostly for giving buff then he can utilize 4pc VV better

She doesn't need EM, but you can go for EM if you want
@@katou-ni2523 well, I don't have any EM pieces ^^', I just wanted to be sure if there was any EM requirements from the substats, like 100, 200 EM. And my Kazuha is built sub-DPS with 306 EM, will this work for Sunfire?
@Loan Sérèmes Yeah that's fine. Sunfire just applies pyro in an efficient way. EM is just an extra if you want to do more swirl damage
So, I came here to figure out what the heck Sunfire was, but then I realized that I have been using this set up with Eula since I first started the game... Was I supposed to know I was actually using a team comp or...? Did I accidentally uncover a popular strategy? I just liked them all lol. Kazuha and Bennett are my sons, so it just happened.

Will this still work if kazuha is substituted with sucrose?
It can work, but it's not as efficient/consistent than using Kazuha. The thing about Sucrose's burst is that either you, or the enemy has to be in the center of the burst so it can absorb the corresponding element. If you were using Sunfire to break an Abyss Lector's shield, you'd have to create Sunfire just before it goes into its second phase, or else it'll just absorb electro which isn't too helpful.
As Katou-Ni says, Sucrose's absorption is a lot less easy to control. Tho, luckily, pyro takes highest priority for her burst. I think this is the case for every character except at least one of anemo traveler's talents (cryo takes priority there) according to Keqing Mains. If pryo is applied somewhere, I believe she should absorb it. But it's worth noting that, if a cryo/electro/hydro character comes along that applies elements in the same way that Bennett/Jean do, it will only get harder to control Sucrose depending on the enemies and team comp.
Kazuha is next hardest if, again, you want to absorb something that isn't pyro (depending on team comp)
Jean is the real star of the show when it comes to this specific reaction (bc her swirling doesn't rely on any sort of priority and it's also faster than anyone else). If a "cryo Bennett" came along, you won't have to worry about enemies being afflicted by other elements to get consistent cryo application. I think if a cryo Bennett existed, it might making pyro strong melt comps more viable. But I'm not 100% sure, hope we get more characters that can do this regardless
i mean yeah, just take half a second to walk back a bit to use her burst in the correct position, it’s not hard at all
Only problem with using that to deal with the lector is that he takes away ur ult energy meaning u cant ult ☹️ , that happened to me and i just got stuck trying to get bennett's and jean's ult

kazuha is kinda useless in that team(generally tbh, his buff is bad and insignificant), replace him with albedo and you're golden.

Bennett's burst doesn't continuously apply pyro, it does once, and the swirl spreads it again and again and again. Correction.
Though I am a bit confused on how Bennett's pyro application truly works, I see that KQM say there are 4 ticks. Correct me again if I'm wrong.

It's harder/more inconsistent than Jean's/Kazuha's to get Venti's burst to absorb pyro

You technically don't need artifacts for this. But for more efficiency:
Bennett: 4-piece Noblesse
Kazuha: 4-piece Viridescent
Jean: 4-piece Viridescent or 2-piece Glad/Shimenawa+Viridescent
not powerful again in this Dendro core era.
