This just happened to me.
I was a fine arts major & the best thing I got from my degree (besides the fast that I can really paint) is that my favorite teacher became my best friend for 42 yrs. because of the time we were in it took him 5 yrs to come out to me. I had already known from another couple of gay friends but it wasn’t my place to say anything.
I am so sad that he didn’t live to see gay marriage become marriage, to see Gay Pride Month & he didn’t get to see you guys & your version of Queer Eye. He would have been so proud.
