After years of using this deck (and purchasing dozens of other decks) - I always seem to gravitate back to this one for my more important readings. The large guide book that goes with this deck is AMAZING and can be found for just a few dollars on Amazon... I think that the large guidebook is what really "makes" this deck. (and just a sidenote - I know that many people prefer to use their own interpretations over the guidebooks (and the words printed at the bottom), but just as a personal choice, I like to have the many influences of: my own interpretations, classical interpretations, intuition of the current situation, and the artist's intent when they made the card. I enjoy reading where the artist is coming from. However, even if you don't want to use the artist's divinitory meanings - the book also includes descriptions of things like: what moon cycle is shown, where the particular standing stones or earthen mounds that are shown exist in real life, what foliage is around the card, what the animals on the card symbolize, etc. They've really packed a ton of meaning into these cards!) Anyways - thank you so much for the great review - even after years of using the deck I still enjoyed listening to your impressions and comments
You are certainly welcome. You have me wanting the large guidebook. Im definitely checking into getting myself one. I would specifically want to know about the moon cycles and all the other things that I may be overlooking by not having the book. Thanks for watching.
I agree. That is an excellent idea. I actually have my very own sacred circle at my home. These would be great to use there for a meditation . Thanks for the great idea.
I had this deck years back and I have to say when I first got them I used them more for inner work on myself but I found the challenge for me was how big the card deck was and so that was one reason I did not like using this deck for my small hands, although the imagery is just lovely. I also notice not many use this deck anymore since the early 2000's so ya I lost this deck with moving and I have to say I do not miss it and would not purchase it again
I've just ordered these cards. I love that the backgrounds are photographs of sacred sites in the UK and Ireland and that the Majors take on a whole new meaning. I think in a lot of ways, I'll be leaving behind all RWS system with this deck (and perhaps figuring out a way to trim off those limiting key words!). I thoroughly enjoyed your review.
Im glad the review was helpful too you. I trimmed the borders off the deck to really make the pics pop!! I may just trim off those limiting words too...Thanks for watching.
I love these cards. The different color borders teach a new user that the green borders or pentacles (discs are Earth element) the blue borders (cups) are the water element, the wands are the fire element, and the cloudy borders are the air element. Each element has its meaning within the card. My favorite two cards are the high priestess and The Warrior (strength).
Hmmm... that's a super tiny book. Mine came with a large, very very detailed book over 300 pages. I guess they discontinued that book and only print that tiny booklet?
I was just wondering if mine is knock off deck as the small book is not the large more detailed one and my cards don’t have the 2 special cards either. Also the book says to refer to the card for the spreads which I’m assuming will be in the genuine book and deck...?

This deck is ideal for anyone wanting to do Pathwork, to meditate and enter any card to gain more information or the energy from the card entered.

I prefer smaller decks as well. Thanks for watching.

The cards are definitely unique. I also like the colors on the borders signifying the suits. Thanks for watching.

At the time I purchased this deck the kit that contained the large book wasnt available. Having a bigger book would have been much better.

This one is enchanting.
Its a unique deck.
