Everlast is one of my favorite artists, always true to form, always from the heart, filled with energy from his days boxing to his acoustic music, the man is amazing beyond words, I have been a musician for 34 years and have yet to find another down home fighter/lyric writer like him, although I listen to a lot of music and play a lot of music my favorites still stay with the everlast name and Paul Thorn for music that just hits home!

Ayyyyeee I’m now 5 months into the jumanji year 2020
I too am a single father .. of a son.. who.. his mom took off with him when he was 2yrs old.. I have struggled hard to get back in his life.. and failed.. after he asked me to get him from his mentally ill and abusive mother.. and I did so,, after much effort as a low income worker,, I lost him 1 day after this fathers day.. due to my.. apparent neglect.. I didn't do enough with him.. what I want to say is this.. our children's futures are the only hope we have.. and as a failed parent .. this song and vid strikes me hard.. cause that's what her parents did.. was fail her.. society is a evil trap set by the forces that want to see us all fail..

pssst- so many more of us 'little miss america"s weren't half as pretty as this gal here is. As such we all simply got used up for what we were worth (credit, housing and weed) and then with us gals having two or more of his kids in tow we were shit out the back end of a half -assed -no count -man who spends all his time acting like he's been hard done by. Alot of songs sound the same, such as this song sounds like WTB. Not knocking him as he has talent but he doesn't stray too far from his comfort zone of at all. On each of his albums you will get your stand out song such as I get by but the rest are pretty much back to routine.
