Michael was eccentric and one needed a specific approach to deal with him and his issues in daily life. And Lisa seems to be very down-to-earth so it's only understandable that she couldn't cope with his behavior and disordered personality. It's hard to overcome certain things even if you love someone. I read somewhere that one of many reasons Michael and Lisa divorced and didn't have kids was because of Priscilla Presley. She wasn't pleasen with their marriage and with the fact that Michael was a black man. I don't know if this is true but, a friend of them said that Priscilla didn't wanted to have a mixed or black grandchild and had several arguments with Lisa for it.

I know how some of the fans don't like Lisa at all, but honestly I've always appreciated her. She never (to my knowledge) brought any doubts about his innocence, didn't flip flop like some like to do. Sure, at that older HOprah episode she said "yeah I don't know what I was thinking" when HOprah ridiculed her for marrying MJ, but always maintained her stance on his innocence. After he passed away she did one more interview with HOprah, believe she also said she wasn't ever going to talk About MJ again after this. But apparently she will discuss MJ in a book this year, so seems she backtracked on that.
Fans don't like Lisa because she publicly bashed him after the divorce and she never admitted any wrong doing on her part. She lied about many things that went on in the marriage in order to make herself look better. Lisa also never defended Michael against the allegations after the divorce.

All the drugs MJ took was pain medication from the injuries he received. Michael Jackson was a very talented man who was human. People choose to idolize people that's on them but he was a human with great talent and because of his stardom people put him in weird categories. He started out performing in a time when social media was not that relevant back when some people had televisions and some people didn't or maybe there was one television in the house. He stood the test of time and made it through social media as well as different things. I never knew him as a person but I respect his talent the same way I respected other people's Talent I can like somebody a whole lot and almost idolized them but then I come back down to earth and respect the fact that they were just a human. I didn’t think she truly loved him... I felt she was embarrassed to be with him because of those alleged child abuse allegations. Michael didn't want to be lonely but he was the only life he knew. Lisa suddenly appeared and you have to compromise. I think she loved him and he loved her. Most likely, the two didn't know each other reasonably well before marriage. The important details such as having children or not, daily activities, needs & wants & dreams, probably were not discussed or not discussed in much depth before the wedding ceremony. Michael Jackson even stated many times that he knew he was very stubborn. His "entourage" knew that Michael was used to getting his way. As in, it was Michael's way or the highway. If/when someone didn't give him what he wanted, they would be removed from his life & they would not be able to reach him in any way. Lisa Marie was nearly the same. Michael was eccentric and one needed a specific approach to deal with him and his issues in daily life. I don't know if this is true but, a friend of them said that Priscilla didn't wanted to have a mixed or black grandchild and had several arguments with Lisa for it.

Yea in a special about MJ and Lisa's marriage a close friend of Elvis wasn't shy about saying he told Lisa" Elvis didn't believe in interracial dating and wouldn't approve of mix kids" so I think it made her second guess having his kids because she didn't want to go against her father's wishes. And Priscilla being married to Elvis a long time would most likely share the same views, but she can't admit that so she made a lame excuse like she thinks hes after Elvises catalog. I've always felt Priscilla's dislike for MJ wasn't justified and was extreme.. makes me think she's racist.

I know how some of the fans don't like Lisa at all, but honestly I've always appreciated her. She never (to my knowledge) brought any doubts about his innocence, didn't flip flop like some like to do. Sure, at that older HOprah episode she said "yeah I don't know what I was thinking" when HOprah ridiculed her for marrying MJ, but always maintained her stance on his innocence.
After he passed away she did one more interview with HOprah, believe she also said she wasn't ever going to talk About MJ again after this. But apparently she will discuss MJ in a book this year, so seems she backtracked on that.
Fans don't like Lisa because she publicly bashed him after the divorce and she never admitted any wrong doing on her part. She lied about many things that went on in the marriage in order to make herself look better. Lisa also never defended Michael against the allegations after the divorce.

Michael Jackson was a very talented man who was human. People choose to idolize people that's on them but he was a human with great talent and because of his stardom people put him in weird categories. He started out performing in a time when social media was not that relevant back when some people had televisions and some people didn't or maybe there was one television in the house. He stood the test of time and made it through social media as well as different things. I never knew him as a person but I respect his talent the same way I respected other people's Talent I can like somebody a whole lot and almost idolized them but then I come back down to earth and respect the fact that they were just a human. I didn’t think she truly loved him... I felt she was embarrassed to be with him because of those alleged child abuse allegations. I just didn’t think she realized what it truly meant to love Michael unconditionally... he basically built himself from the ground up and she thought she could come in and tell him what to do... she knew he wanted children and that was the only way she could control the situation so she just gave up and ran for the hills.. yes, they understood each other and what each other has been through but not meant to be together.. many people turn to different things for comfort and that what he did.. he was under so much pressure even from childhood.. those allegations didn’t make it any better ... he was hurting and nobody really understood how much.. they basically assumed and made up things, plotted against him for so long.. those drugs was all he had to escape the reality of what was really happening.. he was tired and everyone pulled so much and drained him of his energy .. no one did anything for him. I think they really were fascinated by each other, in love. We know how it is at the beginning of the relationship. Later comes life, problems and it's a little different. Michael didn't want to be lonely but he was the only life he knew. Lisa suddenly appeared and you have to compromise. I think she loved him and he loved her. However, she looks like she also likes to rule and is offended, and Mike has not had such behavior before, because he was never in a relationship. That's why he chose the loneliness he knew. You can't blame her for it. Michael didn't like restrictions and disappeared for a few days, e.g. going to Disnayland with his colleague and no one could tell her about it. No woman likes to be lied to. Women want to be first and Michael always has music and children's fantasy first. The only plus that Mike would disappear would be to fool around instead of cheating on her, going to parties, drinking alcohol ... you know what's going on, she could be sure of him. I would give him some freedom. I think he was a good and honest person.

Most likely, the two didn't know each other reasonably well before marriage. The important details such as having children or not, daily activities, needs & wants & dreams, probably were not discussed or not discussed in much depth before the wedding ceremony.
Michael Jackson even stated many times that he knew he was very stubborn. His "entourage" knew that Michael was used to getting his way. As in, it was Michael's way or the highway.
If/when someone didn't give him what he wanted, they would be removed from his life & they would not be able to reach him in any way.
Lisa Marie was nearly the same. She stated in an interview, in hindsight that she was just as stubborn as Michael & just as accustomed to getting her way. She had more stability in her life & couldn't have it if she had stayed married to Michael. He lived a mostly fast paced, chaotic life where he was the only one that knew what the daily schedules were & he changed them constantly if something didn't suit him.
