Jersey Girl was a comedic remake of "Jack and Sarah" a British made movie with Richard Grant about a man who's wife dies in childbirth and he hires an American nanny who he eventually falls in love with. A much better movie by far.
I don’t really like Kevin Smith films but honesty I did- I do really like jersey Girl. I think it’s a cute film and like kevin really put something into that. And I liked it. Plus it had fucking George Carlin. I mean com’n
As a parent myself, Jersey Girl speaks volumes to me. I didn't have a father growing up so that movie helped me through some things. Plus George Carlin as the grandpa is just a genius idea!
in part 1 he says now I have sex "legally and regularly now that I am married"... knowing what we know about weinstein, what don't we know about smith him saying "legally" is really bothering me

Clerks is an amazing social commentary about how clerks live and what they go thru on a day to day basis. And they tackle big topics like relationship problems, death and drugs, if you seen the alternate ending it would’ve been better maybe. Dante gets shot and killed in the final scene
