SNY Away Feed: Gary Cohen, Ron Darling & Keith Hernandez: 0:00 - 3:45 NBCSP Home Feed: Tom McCarthy & John Kruk: 3:45 - 6:59 Decided to only do the TV calls for this one. I had a long day and I'm exhuasted but the Mets winning made it better. Radio calls will be on next video for the next big moment.
Credit where credit is due, I have to give it to the Phillies' announcers who usually sound insufferable when they lose to the Mets. The called it like it was and took the L. I watch the Phils quite a bit and they never really sounded like that against any other team. 21 and 22 the announcers were absolutely disgusted any time the Mets were winning, or even when they were winning. They may still hate the Mets, but at least they kept it professional. Might have something to do with the class of the NL East lately, and the Mets not being that much of a threat, but still. It's a lot easier to listen to when they don't sound like someone ran over their puppy.

Iglesias tipped the pitch to Alvarez right before he hit it. He signaled "inside" with his right hand.

The Phillies came back this afternoon though
Time for the Mets to put last night's game behind them and get back to business.

You should know by now that the Mets follow an explosive game with a dud. I'll be MORE THAN HAPPY to be wrong.
Following up on my last comment....the Mets ARE attempting to prove me wrong. 👍
