- A scenic drive in Miami to Fort Lauderdale & Lauderdale-by-the-Sea with spectacular waterfront views and gorgeous scenery. I drive on the MacArthur Causeway, and then make my way to Florida State Road A1A, which consists of Collins Avenue to Sunny Isles Beach, Ocean Boulevard through Golden Beach, and Ocean Drive to Dania Beach. I then have to take US 1 to Fort Lauderdale where I catch A1A again to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

Lauderdale by the sea is technically a town. You should do A1A in Palm Beach County if you can. As nice as the drive is in Broward and Dade, A1A in PBC blows it away imo.

What kind of trees are those along the road.
I believe they are call Royal Palms. We have a similar Palm tree in Southern California but is not The Royal Palms. I love the coconut tree in Florida because it actually grows Coconuts.
