I swear this road trip was definitely your best video so far I just want to say thanks for taking us on this journey with you, it feels like Iam on actual road trip especially when I don't have the time to take one
ActionKid on the go- thanks for taking us along :> I'm especially looking forward to watching the video from South of the Border, as I was never able to stop there myself.
These road trips are the best there is , when consider how much more you can see comparing that to the airplane 🙂! The best way to see beautiful nature is the car and it’s winshield 🙂. Thank you for sharing another great road trip experience A K 👍!!!
You're welcome, I loved completing this drive back to NYC, and you really get to experience all the changes in scenery and different communities along the way!
That rest stop was always a popular drop-off location for divorced parents to exchange kids. I used to see many kids get out of one car and into another-my son included.
I am from Trinidad and was planning this roadtrip just before Covid-19 hit us. I find your vlogs quite interesting and informative as we just might do it this summer 😀
Thanks for the ride...I've traveled this 95 Route multiple times. This is one of my few recent times viewing your vids... after your leaving NYC. Please, more NYC videos, AK! No one does it better than the do the manner you "view/do!"
18:12 Wow, that quick acceleration sound! 49:23 Can't explain in words but there's something satisfying about driving through tunnels. 😃 1:10:21 Interesting to see a 7-11 gas station. I may have seen one in the past but probably forgot it about, since it's rare to me. 1:56:58 Welcome to Delaware! Thank you for sharing this drive, AK! 🤗 Looking forward to see the NYC skyline on the last segment of your road trip!
I recalled my road trip from Washington DCA Airport to Allen Town PA via Baltimore City...it took around 3 hours 30minutes, the journeys were interesting...AK yours' equally good, if not better....greeting from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
I love these car trips because me and my honey have been grounded for various reasons for quite a while now but almost ready to hit the road again -first stop Yosemite ‼️🏔️🏞️🗻
Hi Kenneth ! This is a great road trip! If you ever visit Washington DC again, make it a point to see The Changing of The Guard at The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier! It's an experience that is found no other place! It's very moving 🍒❇️
That’s interesting that you could use your Sunpass in place of an Ezpass. Because when I came to FL I couldn’t use my Ezpass on their tolls but that was in February maybe things have changed since then.
Now this was great driving 👍it took you 25 mins just to get to the main highway amongst all that traffic pretty good driving skills . Thanks for the journey I too wondered where the gas station ⛽️ was it took awhile at first but worth it. 😉 see you next time 🤗💛✌️.
First thing I noticed about traffic is the lack of pick up trucks on the road. Here in San Antonio I would say about 60 percent of vehicles on the road are pick ups . Nice video .
Marylander here. I was happy to see my town's name on the interstate signs 3 times and my current university on one of the signs. AK, did you see a pineapple on one of the buildings to your left at around 45:45? An industrial building has this big fiberglass pineapple on top of it. It's one of my favorite things to look for when driving to or from Baltimore.
There is a cheap way to travel to NYC to Florida and vice-versa, by taking Route 78 west in Jersey following the signs after leaving the tunnel or GWB in Newark. You will only pay no more than 2 tolls.
This lap of the journey seemed a bit tense, for me at least. I don't like to travel through road construction. I imagine by this part of the trip you were getting anxious to be in NYC. Smiles to you.
A highlight of Delaware is the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel System. Comprises a ride over several vertigo inducing bridges, two 1 mile deep tunnels into the seabed, and then a ferry on the far end. It is quite a drive. Very interesting historical part of any road trip, going in both directions. There haven't been any state crossing signs on I-95, but they are on the Turnpike.
@@ny4i When I was a teen ager, in the 1980's we made the trip southbound. The first leg was a ferry to cross part of the bay, into the highway landing, then onwards to the bridge tunnel section. The ferry ride, if memory serves, was about an hour end to end.
@@jeremy1350 could you have possibly gone from Cape May,NJ? I ask as there is a ferry from Cape May to Mewes, DE then onto the Bay bridge tunnel. There is no ferry required to go get across the span otherwise.
@@ny4i No it wasn't NJ. it was much farther south. I don't know if there was direct road access to the span. I do remember the ferry as part of the journey. All I remember is that we took a ferry with the car, then we crossed the bay bridge system. We took a detour off the highway when we crossed into Delaware for the span. It was so long ago now.

ActionKid my NYC friend that was a dominating road trip from Washington DC to Newark NJ and Miami Florida to NYC thanks for that!😊
ActionKid on the go- thanks for taking us along :> I'm especially looking forward to watching the video from South of the Border, as I was never able to stop there myself.
My pleasure! I've already posted the South of the Border video, hope you enjoy it!
Have loved watching this road trip, thank you. The difference between the colours of miami and the north has been great to see
Thank you! There's so much that's different the further along the journey you go

It's amazing how much more of the world you can see when you slow down! Road trips and walking are amazing!
You're welcome, I loved completing this drive back to NYC, and you really get to experience all the changes in scenery and different communities along the way!
Thanks, I grew up right across the DC line off New York Ave. in Tuxedo, Md. A lot of changes but still some major references exist.
Spetacular, congratulations, Action Kid!
Great Drive, ActionKid
That rest stop was always a popular drop-off location for divorced parents to exchange kids. I used to see many kids get out of one car and into another-my son included.
Interesting, didn't know the rest stop was used in that way!
That AK has stamina whether walking the Tappan Zee bridge or driving from Miami FL to NYC !
I am from Trinidad and was planning this roadtrip just before Covid-19 hit us. I find your vlogs quite interesting and informative as we just might do it this summer 😀
Thank you so much! Hopefully you can complete it

Thank you very much

1:01:13 exit 67 is the exit to go to my grandparent's apartment!
Such a car-packed country USA is. Very few Highway Coaches are on the road.

Interesting to know this as I am planning this roadtrip soon
@@susieboodoo8464 The thing is, route 78 doesn't take you straight there, it connects to a couple of shorter highways.

What a jammy traffic today!
love your videos.. Does your phone overheat. I didn't know an iphone could record for over 2 hours
Man o man I needed this ride 🔱🎭🥴🎩🎈🇺🇸🔱
28:14 yes you are. You were once you went on 1-495. That and I-95 don’t touch DC
This sure beats dropping from a tower at 75 miles hour 🔱🥴
What's his vehicle??????
at 10:38, you entered Maryland.
Funny enough I may be moving to Newark Delaware
cool

It’s been years since I drove that but there was no ferry required then. What ferry do you mean?
