That is pretty slick I like how you designed that!! I used to have all kinds of problems with those straps!! I like how this time you showed how you could use it with a strap! That Egyptian wheat is crazy tall!! Looks like you are going to have some good success in that draw!!
Thanks man. I really love these mounts. I had a ton of guys asking for ways to use it without screwing into the tree. I could have came up with something better, but this will give the majority of them an idea to play with anyway. Yeah, that Egyptian wheat is awesome. I'm excited for this season. That fawn that scared me came from that screen. It couldn't see me from the other side and I couldn't see it lol. Serving its purpose. Thanks for watching
Yeah that was really funny I didn’t see the dawn the first time lol!! That is a really cool invention for sure makes lining up your trail cam really easy! Yeah I am excited to see that this fall and see what monster take cover in there!
Great video, I will be checking out how to make a few of those mounts I how ever need the block of wood to go with it. I hunt garland that don't allow screwing into trees. Cool having two different deer come out on you during the making. Alot of people don't think about the switch grass to use for a barrier to hide your approach from deer in the food plot on your arrival. AWESOME point. Oh and I have no clue on the vine you showed. I hope you give the answer.
I love these mounts, they are game changers for me. I hate it for those of you who can't use the screw methods. It was a Muscadine! Thanks for watching
I used your mount setup on one of my game cams, but my other game cam (different model) didn't have the 1/4 bolt hole, it had a 7/32 and those were way shorter bolts than the 1/4...so, I am trying to figure out a different solution. That was some Vitis rotundifolia, or muscadine...great jam!
You can use a shorter bolt for the camera. It would just be like a compact model . I've actually thought about doing that. The only place I wouldn't recommend on skimping on length would be the main eyebolt. You'll need the length to fit everything on it, plus its easier on your hands when tightening it up. Thanks for watch and yes, it's Muscadine😎
@@StrungOutOutdoors i got some plant's growing here where we live not sure what they are thought you mite now what they was. ..all bull shit a side your channel and content are great you not as shy as you was were keep up the good work ✌❤😀🇺🇸🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
Yeah, I personally don't use straps. The first video I made showing how to make these mounts, a lot of folks were saying they lived in areas they can't put screws in the tree and wanted an alternative. Thanks for the compliments

WOW! Now that's a cool mount . I think it looks like wild grapes to me.😎👍
😎 Yes Sir, muscadines
It would stabilize that block of wood better if it was under the strap. Great idea with the block and the bolts....
Was it flipped? I must not have been paying attention
Muscadine
👍
This is awesome! I hate the camera straps!
You don't have to deal with them anymore 😉

That's a sweet idea! No clue what vine that is. I gonna send a like to a few buddies.
It's a Muscadine vine (Wild grape). Makes some good wine, jelly and not bad eating either. Wildlife loves it. Appreciate you stopping by 👍
Dadgum that strap is almost like my belts...just don’t quite fit around my gut! Muscadine vine! That was a bad-ss video man!
