Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

I just love how Incursus calmly sets about building an inverted T3 sniper to eliminate his idiotic teammate's useless mortar.

Do falling batteries collide with foreground bracing? If so, it would definitely be much easier to bomb your friendly firing teammate by dropping batteries on him.

Incurus’s teammates must’ve really hated him. The bottom guy kept shooting him with a mortar, and the top guy purposely blew up his own repair bay just to break Incurus’s ropes. The other team did less damage than his team ever could. Honestly, if Incurus killed one of his teammates on purpose, I don’t think anyone would care
On the contrary, the audience would care. I think most of us would love it

I feel so bad. His teammates weren't even new, it was like they just loaded up their very first game of anything ever. I was cringing every time any of them did anything to the game.

As for the middle-core of the battleship map - that is EXACTLY why you NEVER place batteries near the top or sides (exposed points of contact)... splash damage takes out battery, and causes a chain reaction... boom, boom, boom.
I like incursus, hes like the only youtuber to play forts and be good at it aswell as listen to his viewers when they ask him to change something, like he did with the kill cam where he stopped talking over it.

I wonder, when the core is falling, has anyone ever managed to catch it before it crashed?
I don't think i've seen anyone catch the core specifically, but it is definitely possible to catch parts of your base as they fall.
Considering the weight of the core it would likely break whatever is used to catch it
Unless you have already setted up a platform kind of thing made of metal, supported by oots of ropes, MAYBE it is possible@@armoredman6941 if you consider the fact it can be holded by 2 mere ropes i think it is not that heavy

@@siromnoms Incursus hardly overextended considering the weapons they were facing and that teammate was not even just refusing to switch weapons placements, he was either not looking at where he was shooting, which, with any weapon, especially indirect firing ones is stupid beyond all measure, or he was shooting him on purpose

That guy below was a jerk. You weren’t blocking any of his weapons in anyway and if he was so concerned he could have asked you to not build so far out.
i remember this time where this guy was playing with me and he was on top of me so he tried to flip a canon and shoot right through all my battery's but failed and ended up blowing up his own core which meant i could steal his base AND his weapons so i won the game and really rubbed it in with chat.

a frame by frame confirms it, out of control fire blew up nearly every battery in a chain reaction and poor internal strength caused it to fall through.

@@air7604 I'm sure if you were playing and your teammates were intentionally shooting you/destroying your base, you'd be equally if not more upset. Saying "calm down" in this situation is unwarranted and absolutely everybody else thinks that something is wrong with this situation.

I also messed up, I was trying to create rotes but the terrain on the map was so cheesy. I was the one who blown up that part with the repair bay
Have you considered communicating with your teammates more? E.g. 'Oi! Stop friendly-firing me with that neblewerfer!'.

Pray your teammates knows they’re your teammates.
Sniping a teammate's core is an act of escalation. First offenders get a warning, second offenders get their offensive taken out. You don't shoot your TM's core without them escalating to that level (or going AFK for >1 minute? IDK what the accepted "time of death" is on Forts, tho).
I don't even watch the video, I've just put it in background so I can listen all this sweet explosion and laser sound while working XD

There wasn't any floor below him so the batteries wouldn't actually explode. Falling components don't explode on wood or anything besides floor.

I wish that there were a mod that made double bracing easier. Like, hold a hotkey and click on the bracing so you don't have to meticulously go and brace everything yourself. I guess it would take away from the APM needed to make a stable fort, but I honestly think the benefits of such a thing would outweigh the negatives.

Incursus: We really need to be hitting their core, not whatever that is.
You do realize that if it really blew up a core there would be multiple mushroom clouds because every projectile of the atom cannon causes a mushroom cloud.
So there probably was no front core there.

I figured out another cheese to do 100% tubins anywhere.
You have to use ropes and make it swing witch make it get more airflow.
