Wet plate collodion & Albumen print process by Borut Peterlin

This video is a mixture of my workflow, the results and the final presentation. I've exhibited albumen prints, carbon prints and cyanotypes, all of them contact copied from wet plate collodion negatives, but then there are few ink-jets, few tintypes and few ambrotypes. A path that I walked thorough in the last two years.

Amazing work Borut! I can't describe it with words, it is something you can feel in your stomach and are not able to describe this feeling - you know what I mean. One of your best video I have seen about your work so far. The background music is fantastic. Slovenia is a beautiful small country, forests and rivers there are so nice and magnificent. What you present I really call publicly ART. I can imagine how hard it is to create a beautiful negative and how big amount of effort, time and also of course money are behind. Ovaj pravac u fotografiji je fantastican...ja sam mladi fotograf, tacnije prvo lekar, pa fotograf i moram priznati da sam odusevljen tvojim radom. Kod nas u Beogradu se malo ljudi bavi ovom vrstom fotografije, tacnije ja znam za dvojicu fotografa. Zaista sam zadivljen ovim i voleo bih da i moju sobu krasi jedna ovako divno umetnicko delo. Ovo je zaista zadivljujuce. Nadam se da cemo se upoznati ukoliko budes izlagao negde u Beogradu...i tom prilikom detaljnije popricati o carobnoj tehnici. Jos jednom SVAKA CAST!!!
