Hi gbk. I think the song you're looking for is called "Good Old Song" which is the opening track on his 1973 MCA album "Loving Arms". It is on RUclips in several different videos. I like all the songs on this album and on the earlier "Drift Away" album so I may put up my own videos just to try to do justice to all these great songs using the vinyl version and some images that go along with the rockin' music and lyrics.
