- This is one of our longest running projects which has now come near the conclusion face where the progress is going to be visible and can be shared with all of you.
This is a 1992 Nissan Patrol, Y 60 also known as the Nissan Patrol GQ is an ex-Embassy vehicle.
It had been parked for close to 17 years when we picked it and now has been undergoing complete shell-off resto-mod.
Long list of mods and accessories going into this vehicle.
Yes please, i would love to see the journey from here on.
Thank you, will share more
This vehicle is worth it's weight in gold in countries like Australia and middle east. People just love Patrols out there.

The sound of the inline 6 diesel at the end of the video is real music to ears 🔥
The Nissan Patrols invaded Middle East by storm with their outclass capability in cruising across desert, unlike any other vehicle (sometimes even without engaging 4 x 4). In other countries, especially Australia, the TD 42 diesel engine is the most sort after. The rear LSD works like charm and I personally had the experience in crossing dunes in 2wd mode across Simpson Desert, Western Australia because of the super effective rear LSD. Awesome project. Would love to have more follow up videos. Best of luck with the build.
Thank you
More regular videos and builds like these please….

Hi Sir keep posting the videos
Doing great job ❤
Thank you, will share more
Its always a treat to watch the content you put up on your channel. Aside from clear and detailed explanation, the knowledge is clearly gathered over the years and not memorised from a brochure. You clearly know what you are talking about and it shows. I like it when people put so much effort (and money) to get the details just right. Looking forward to see the build in stages.
Also, though my knowledge is limited about restoration, could you please explain why you will be putting the interiors back and then proceeding with the painting? Wouldnt it be easier to paint the whole shell, inside-out and then put the interior bits back in?
Thank you , the interior ofcourse will be painted before interior reassembly.
What I meant was the final paint job for exterior finish will happen at the end.
@@TreadTrails Ah ok cool. Looking forward to the progress of the project. All the best :)
Would love to be a part of the build.

Thank you, will share more
excited to see this build!!!
Thank you
This just suits more in car museum. I question its reliability and spare part availability.
Reliability has never been an issue with these vehicles. Parts are a challenge but that’s where the fun is.
Jaideep sir, one request. Please dont post HDR Videos, the screen becomes too bright during the night time and strains the eyes.
The noise cancellation couldn’t here the growl waiting for the complete setup with crawl using new elockers
Will keep that in mind, shall take the mic on the other side next time.
@TreadTrails what kind of RTO registration will this vehicle be so comes under?
Private Suv Vehicle sir
please share pictures and story of how/ when you found the car?
Will definitely do that as well
Will need to make a complete video.
@@TreadTrails Thanks!
and what all cars are in your personal collection right now?
How will this be registered in India ? The draconian and arbitrary NCR 15 year car ban has now started to extend its legs with HP next and soon other states might follow. People have failed to come together to fight against it.
That’s one really scary law, luckily this one came with full paperwork and we managed to have it registered and updated as punjab has no such restrictions.
Bro Hindi nhi aati ?
With the Governments pushing scrap policy aggressively. How do you plan to bypass that?
Good luck with that in rural Punjab. Majority of vehicles here are 15 or more than 15 years old. In India people just don’t go buy new cars, 10 years second hand cars sells more than new car.
That's a very valid question. I liked this restoration build and want to see the final version. But vehicles older than 15 years are being picked up for scrapping right from the homes. Don't know what way forward Mr. Chahal is going to use with this one
@@Sunny22445 There's a whole country outside of Punjab, I don't think he only intends to overland with this over there. It won't be a discrete vehicle that goes under the radar!
Punjab as of now has no issues with older vehicles. Only thing is to be careful of not taking it to restricted areas.
@Nalinkhurb he won’t be camping in delhi either so apart from that I don’t see which area this vehicle won’t be allowed to enter? This ban rule is never going to play in Punjab so he won’t have trouble registering this vehicle.
