Because of what I've seen on your channel and others like yours, I was able to help an elderly man at the bank not get scammed. He was cleaning out his safe, bringing in all of his money to get the "IRS" paid off. After he had already paid a lot, I'm not sure the exact amount, they told him that they had found more "mistakes" in his past filings. The bank didn't say or do anything. I approached him and told him to double check, and told him all about how they do the scams. He had told me that they called him from the "IRS". I showed him on my phone one of these videos, and told him that they don't call you like that. The guy had tears in his eyes. I ended up running in to him at the store a few days later and he told me that I was right. It broke my heart because he was already scammed for a lot before I said anything, and the bank didn't say a thing.

So happy I ran across you! I'm 65 and a couple months ago, I got an email saying someone charged $867 to my Amazon account. Well, I new better coz I couldn't charge $8.67!! I did report it! Last year I got a voice mail from "irs" saying I owed $1000 and if I didn't pay, I'd go to jail. LMAO!! I live on $550 a month! I don't pay taxes. I sent him a message saying "apparently you didn't look at what state I live in because grannies in Texas carry weapons, but you're welcome to come see for yourself... bring your own body bag!" Don't Mess With Texas! I never heard from anyone again.

Well, i dont really know if they understand that, they might think but by doing this kind of stuff that they are actually helping people, also they are always brainwashed by the "mantra" that USA and Westerners in general are making their country be in misery. That's why they can kind of rationalize their scammy practices, and of course they might really not know what real job really is, those people might really think that they are representing Microsoft/Arlo/etc, because their bosses must have thrown a lot of money to "train"(eg brainwash) the employees. But other than that, yeah, they have no shame. What really happens and most scam call centers are in India, is because they have easily bribable government officials and really cheap labour...that's why India is a paradise for these types of call centers

So I still have a home phone Australia and just ystday a msg was left on the answering machine from an indi scammer leaving their number to call back. Thanks to you I was aware and laughed at the msg. Only a few wks ago I would have been a victim as im hopeless with computers and tech gadgets. So big thank you from a 50 yr old dummy. Im clueless and would of believed something is wrong with my internet.

@@jtc1947 I honestly think a lot of the dislikes were accidental, and that’s why they got rid of it showing the amount. I hit dislike on accident all the time. Luckily I look to see if I hit it, and then change it back, but I’ve def hit dislike by mistake many times.
Nah, they got rid off it cuz it made certain corps look bad cuz of massive downvotes when they did shitty videos. Its monetarily inspired. More downvotes=less views=less ads.

I got so much into this channel since I started getting calls and messages like this. Now that I am looking at your channels, I am constantly laughing. Now I am deciding to subscribe since I can't do anything but just make them stay behind the phone and make the scammers all burnt with their own anger. I don't dare watch without an inhaler handy, but it's so worth it. Aside from the tremendous humor and entertainment value, these Scammer Payback videos increase awareness about various scams and scammer tactics, and inspire viewers to be more alert and proactive scam-busters in their own ways. It's so gratifying to watch Pierogi (and others) waste so much of these scammers' time, delete files, glitter bomb money mules, etc. It's empowering to see growing awareness and regular people start fighting back, trying to educate more vulnerable people and stepping in when they suspect a scam in progress. Yes, it's still a complex, huge problem (gross understatement), but "each and every" potential victim we can protect or restore is a victory that makes a world of difference to that person and their families.
