the stamina bar is the most counter intuitive thing ever, real life already comes with a stamina bar there’s no need to make a virtual one for something like vr.
In this game maybe but for example TWD : Saint and sinners has a well made stamina bar so I wouldn't say there's no need for it in vr but rather it's not needed in this case particularly
Yeah but some people who exersise actively would just destroy the fights because the wouldn't run out of stamina (I do karate for example and the fighting does nothing but make my arms a little tired) so I understand it
The demo for Creed was the first one I played but after trying TOTF it definetiley feels more like a "game". The opponent punches are slow so you can dodge and enter this slow mo trance plus there is the follow up sequences after landing some hits to get some free ones for extra damage... It's more arcade than simulation indeed.
@@hflores16 well, it depends on what you are looking for. TOTF is what I play any time I want to box in VR, it's the more realistic option, so for me TOTF is better. But i don't think Creed is bad, just be aware that you have to stick to its game mechanics.
Nice video!! I had to take a break from Thrill of the fight because I was dropping too much weight after playing for 2 months straight while eating under 2000 calories. I adapted quickly so I had to reduce the breaks to 30sec and increase the round time to 5min. So now I alternate between hitting the heavy bag and burpees in between sessions lol
I do like the training section in Creed. The part where Rocky has you working the mitts, the combo guide on the dummy and the guided direction on the focus bag, etc. I’d like to see TOTF add that in.

I bought them both. They both have good points and bad. Totf is realish. I didn't like the way u r right on top of your opponent as soon as the fight restarts after a knockdown. Creed has a weird movement system that most ppl exploit in a cheap way. I use the locomotion they call it only to move forward as to back my opponent into the corner or up against the ropes. Then I use a special locomotion I found for backing up. If u put your hands to your chest then press the locomotion buttons and put your arms out like u r pushing u will slide back and make some distance. It makes creed feel better but totf is better in my opinion.
Definitely don't get Creed if your looking for realistic. Still got 5 . 2 x quest 2, 1 rift s and 2 rifts that tracking doesn't work [ hands facing wrong way free to anyone who wants them ]. The problem with this game is sweating. The humidity in the headset messes up the electronics. the quest I bought 3 rd Jan as it already the screen as gone blank but the sound working well. THE MAIN PROBLEM FOR ME SWEATING. I box for two hours straight and thought to have two sets I can swap but that plan did not work.
Is this game only on the Oculus Quest? I was getting ready to order a Quest, then I found out I have to have a Facebook account. Tremendous turn-off for me...

Sure you can. And footwork too if you have some space.
its up to you how you want to use your body from moving around or just on the spot. but work your body as if your a real fighter ..
so glad you're making these videos! Thrill of the Fight is my favorite game too and primarily how i have exercised for the past year. i want to get better and your form and skill is really helpful. everything from my left sucks (i'm orthodox)! please keep the videos coming - maybe consider patreon(?) i would love to support.
Thanks man!
I won't open a patreon though.
If you want to donate, please feel free to do it with through this link: www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=AC9GVTPKJ3AVN
thanks! 💪
Thank you for the review
creed is more of an arcade game
I love playing creed it’s so fun a d love fighting my older brother on pvp so fun
Do you hold the triggers when you box, or not?
No
@@VRBOXING Thanks.
I listened to ya and got thrill of the fight. Dude thanks it is so much fun. I'm 4-1 on normal and I got it about 2 hours ago lmao.
Haha nice job. You got the virus now.
55-year-old dad, I love this game so much so that I held oculus headsets right from the start 11 of them.
I didn't know this. I want to get a VR headset for boxing but I sweat like crazy.. maybe I'll wait until winter. Thank you for the warning
Thank's so much for this video. I almost brought it 😂
Is this game only on the Oculus Quest? I was getting ready to order a Quest, then I found out I have to have a Facebook account. Tremendous turn-off for me...
Yeah i feel you...
tnx for an honest review
Got creed cause it was on sale. It's fine. I like some of the training aspects. And fighting against people online is fun and that's the main reason I wanted it. But still, just waiting for totf 2 to have online fights
Yep same here. I'm so looking forward to it!
Can't wait for thrill of the fight 2. PVP
I think that was a stupid move for adding multiplayer in a new thrill game instead of an update
@@nikizologovr6014 lol nothing is free my friend especially things that take time. I guess we have different priorities. I'm more ticked off that they haven't come up with the second game then the fact that they are not adding it to the first. I payed 12 bucks for the game and till this day its the game I play most and get the most exercise out of.
@@SuperPhasan yeah ahem they could have added DLCs
@@nikizologovr6014 like I said b4 for $12 a 4.8 star game is pretty good. I was happy with the game and still use it the most even though I have paid much more for other games.
If TTOF had online mode and the gym like creed then it would be great. Creeds stamina dynamic is so dumb and TTOF relys on your actually stamina and the power of your punches is actually measured
TOTF has mixed reality, which prevents you from putting your fist through the tv or the wall.
i respect your opinion as former boxer and i buy thrill of the fight as well. guess what it is toooooooo epic and break every man sweat
Thrill of the fight is awesome - just downloaded in steam for 5 bucks. after Creed it feel very different. more like a real fight
Your channel is actually sick
In a good way i hope :)
Thrill of the fight is a bit too easy. All you have to do is jab, hook, jab, hook over and over again until you knock your opponent out.
Yep, it's called boxing 😂
@@cameronsky7575 i can read. Thanks. 😄
I was just beeing sarcastic.
All you know is first degree speach, right? 😉
@@VRBOXING So, you understood, but instead of replying something meaningful to my comment. You decided to be a sarcastic asshole, and then you attempted to mock the education of people who misinterpreted your inapparent sarcasm. Hope you enjoy being a small channel because you're going no where like that.
Easy??? I couldn’t even beat the first guy wtf! I thought it was way to hard on easy mode
@@CyberWolfVR It's tiring, but at the end of the day the AI is easily exploitable.
I agree! thrill of the fight is pretty realistic whereas creed was just trash... for lack of anything better to say. I only bought creed because of the pvp mode and because it looked like it had much more content... but none of that matters considering how it's just crap. I really wish thrill of the fight had more content but i'll choose thrill over creed anytime.
Is trill of the fight multiplayer now ?
No
@@VRBOXING aww man I heard they was planning on doing multiplayer 😔 I don’t want to pay 40 bucks just to play against people
Have you tried the endurance mode of the recent update in creed?
Nope
I couldn't stand the creed slow motion crap, it was so annoying.
