If you check out his early performances from 2007 when they debuted, and look at their stuff in chronological order, you'll see that. He worked up to that 30 seconds gradually. It was barely 8 seconds at first. With the right technique you can go on much longer too. The guinness record of the longest note belongs to a fellow youtube reactor, Richard @Throga Vocal Gym, he can hold a note for over 2 minutes. He explains in his reaction to this song that if in the right calm environment, Taka could also go much much longer. But he is in the middle of a concert, running around, singing for a long time, in that environment, 30 seconds is a GINORMOUS achievement. :)
