Nice! I like my Baun Performance, "less aggressive" turbo back exhaust, looking forward to hearing/seeing Stealth GTI's data on your new Stealth exhaust.
I like how mellow and mature it sounds. I wouldn’t want it but I can’t deny it sounds nice. Personally I just like a tiny bit more volume. Nice job as always!
Sounds like the Less Aggressive would be the perfect fit for you, I’ve got some videos of it as well.

Have you ever made a down pipe with two high flow cats? (Like in the factory locations)
I haven’t, but with the routing & design of my downpipe adding a second cat in the lower downpipe wouldn’t be an issue if that’s something you’d be interested in.
Your tbh with suitcase muffler how much louder is it in comparison to a stock catback with res delete? that is what I currently have and want something just a little more.
Stealth GTI did in car sound readings (hour long video). Not only is the sound quality massively improved in quality it’s also slightly louder inside (and noticeably louder outside).
His test didn’t include a DP + res delete (basically the same as a full OEM system, because the OEM Resonator does next to nothing in the first place), but it did include a stock DP with a 17950 on the OEM CBE (slightly quieter but MUCH better sound than what you have).
Totally off topic of this video but I know you’re the man to ask. I’m rebuilding the head on my mk7 gti. Had a money shift incident lol. What performance valve springs would you recommend. Looking at apr and IE and notice the apr come with valve spring seats too. Also what valves would you recommend? Plan on going vortex xl in the near future so trying to future proof it while I’m repairing it. Would you go up in valve size like I notice they offer on IE site? +1mm? Appreciate the videos. Super informative that’s why I’m asking you lol
Ferrea Valves (APR & IE don’t actually manufacture their own). 1mm oversized would be to accommodate a repair more than a performance benefit, so with that in mind a machine shop should be checking your head before it’s reassembled. If it’s cracked or damaged out of tolerance you want to know while it’s apart so those issues can be addressed. Personally if I had the head off I’d go ahead and build the bottom end while you’re at it given the vortex Xl plans. Also a good opportunity to have the DI injectors cleaned if the car has any kind of mileage on it. This is probably a good video for me to dive into at some point.
Do you think you’ll cut a viddy of the GLI version of the stealth TBE? Sounds awesome on the GTI!
No, I haven’t even finished the weld fixtures for the GLI version yet. Nobody’s bought one & I’ve been staying busy with GTI stuff
It’ll sound the same GTI vs GLI, but there won’t be a Suitcase version available for GLI.

They all sound nice but I like the dual 1142 mufflers option better. Throaty and bassy. Probably the quietest from inside the car right?
I have a turbo swapped mk7 4Mo sportwagen and I tried several configurations. It drones so badly. Even with the 17950 resonator. Wondering how it would sound with a dual 1142 mufflers at the back? Maybe less drony than the Magnaflows I tried. The wagon hatch is definitely challenging as far as exhaust setup.
The quietest inside & out was the suitcase version, also don’t forget both Stealth options also have a Borla XS Pro mid muffler.
The Vibrant UQ actually do very little in the way of reducing noise, they’re mostly aesthetic as the noise reduction when we added them was minimal.

Aww man Jake, I really like the look and sound of the SDM! Can you make some one with burnt tips? Also, wish I didn't live 4 hrs from you up north, I'd love to help increase the production quality of your videos. (Im sure your son will do that soon!) Your vids still do a good job getting the point across though, and I'd rather you spend time on improving your product line than your videos. (Though if you have a place I can stay for a few days maybe we can work something out?) Still love the look of your FMIC which has been going strong for two years now. About to install a Vortex and supporting mods to reach my final 400+whp goal.
Any of my exhaust can use 3” inlet exhaust tips of your choice, but honestly every attempt at switching things up so far has resulted in using my go to tips since the majority of what’s out there isn’t up to my quality standards once I’m able to put hands on the parts to inspect them.
Of course I could hand build Titanium tips & heat anodize them, but that’s a expensive option.
I’d love to have a hand with production above and beyond my seven year olds capabilities haha, but unfortunately the only convenient place I had to put people up (a buddies AirB&B) isn’t available anymore. A good alternative might be a trip to The Back of the Dragon (VA) or Tail of the Dragon (NC/TN) to do a drive day with more cinematic content.
