On our trip to Anglesey in North Wales, we visited a motor museum and saw classic cars during yet more rain. Should they buy a classic car? Will Andy and Claire agree on budgets?

My Dad had a Ford Zodiac with white wall tyres. It was his pride and joy. I too would choose that car, purely for the memories of my Dad ❤

Lovely vlog guys ! You realise time is passing by when your first car is in a motor museum, Ed's first was like the cream car you liked Claire .... yes he's a little older than me, my first car was a mini, best car.🤣🤣❤
Me and my late husband had a “Sponge” mincer as a wedding present in 1964. It is what is say. It minces meat. I still use it to this day.
Loved the tour of the car museum. Loads of lovely cars. The dogs looked ace in their little robes. Little cuties ❤

Remember using the mincer , it was always minced Lamb on a Monday, as our parents would buy half a Lamb which seemed to last forever.
Certainly no ready made meals from Iceland in those days, you had what was in front of you or went hungry.
The museum looked very interesting, my first car was a Viva de lux with reclining seats , which was great for camping weekend's away and other activities 😂
Great motor museum there and cafe isn't too shabby. There is a CCC CS on that site and virtually next door is a CAMC CL .... The Brambles owned by Eric. Lovely site and well worth a visit. Forest and beach close by are very nice. Love Anglesey. Another class vid!

We stayed at the CL next to the transport museum. It called Brambles and was excellent with fully serviced pitches. Hope the weather improves for you both! It’s a beautiful Island but if the weathers bad it makes it difficult to appreciate. Keep smiling and carry on. 😊

Hi Guys we stayed at the CL next Door to the Museum really nice stop over. Newborough Beach went there in August it was packed, we drove there in a car Motorhomes were parked in the car park, a great place to eat is the Oyster Catcher Dogs are welcome in doors .

Hi. We saw a picture of a motorhome stuck under a bridge is told last week. WAs that you?
I don't think so. There was one the day before as well. They had to let down their tyres and call the fire brigade. We been to the York site before and never went that way. I was on autopilot and never heard my wife Sandra say do you think we'll get under the bridge. What a chilling noise. Our dog Maddie didn't stop shaking for hours.

brilliant , its always great to see the cars from back in the day, its been a treat as always to see the cars what a great day out you must of had youl remember the cars a bit more now you have seen them fresh in the mind again mini cooper is my favorite car the triumph herald is a ace car to especially the soft top thanks for a great video it means alot to me disabled i bearly go anywhere because of my ailments and others its makes a difference to ppls lives

Classic to bland in a generation eh, my first job I used to get a lift to work in Lotus cortina, learned to drive in a Ford Zodiac then a Ford Zephyr gearstick on the steering column then passed my driving test in a Triumph Dolomite. Class vid as per cheers guys.
Me and my wife visited this place breakfast was good and the museum was good.
But it threw it down when we were there as well.

Speaking of BSA's my first motorbike was a 1958 BSA C12, reg YUP 620 which amazingly still exists, albeit on a SORN. I bought it when I was 18, you could still ride 250cc's on an L plate at the time. Speaking from experience BSA stands for 'bloody sore arse' and not Birmingham Small Arms like some people think. Great upload 👍

If you like these kind of museums, have a look at the Caernarfon Air Museum (LL54 5TP). If you're lucky, you might see some planes and helicopters taking off (and hopefully landing)

The mincer was used in the kitchen bolted on bunker for the price of 12shillings you minced your meat vegetables etc

Giving my age away now but I learned to drive and passed my test (1st time) in an 1100, it was my mom’s car.. It was a nice car except for the fact it was a rot box. My 1st car was a Triumph Spitfire mk1, the doors would drop about 6’ when opened and it looked like it had been painted with a broom, plus the roof leaked big time, but I loved it.

The blue and silver bike at the museum was a Greaves Anglian trials bike my first bike at 16. Apart from that revelation and a sneak look into my motorcycling history this was a very very dreary, wet video.
Great video, great cars (drove a couple of them myself) even worked on the tooling for the Maestro, Mini and Allegro. Love Anglesey loads to see but most of all a lovely down to Earth couple. By the way candy your’re a ringer for the doctor in Emmerdale!

My first car was an Isetta bubble car, I could drive one of those at 16. Paid 15 pounds for it, needed brake work.

My mate had an Austin 1100. Had drum brakes!! Frighteningly inefficient, big problems going down Baslow hill in Derbyshire. We found out that tbe colour of fear, was brown.

Can’t believe we went to Anglesey last year and I missed the museum! Brought back some memories, had a few of those cars over the years, the gold mk2 Cortina that reversed in, my first car in red ❤️❤️
