For those wondering...glad you were able to figure it out quickly enough...@26:44 A15 goes on the top section in the square slot. It’s a computer screen. You can see it in the image in step 4 on the right end of A19. It took me a bit to find it but eventually figured it out. These instructions are as bad as Warlord Games bolt action assembly for vehicles.
There might be balancing they have in mind here, but I wish it at least had the option to be open so units could shoot out. If for no other reason than they did it in Clone Wars.
I know I'm late but work and stuff has kept me out of the hobby for a bit but this video gets me excited. Getting a version of the LAAT is something I never thought they'd do. Gives me hope that one day we will see the mighty AT-TE hit the table!
4:46 - I'm pretty certain that Field Commanders retain their original force org. slot (so, keep their Heavy token, in this case), so, not having a Commander chip makes sense (especially as you'd then need two for each faction, needing yet more cardboard) I'm also fairly sure you mark a Field Commander with the commander token, to show that it's eligible for issuing the generic command cards (even if you do happen to have another normal commander), so that's probably why there's an additional in this box. Can't answer the wound token thing, that's just slack hahaha
Love it, did the rebel speeder truck assembly over the weekend. It was a fun build very detailed. Vary impressed with the design. Watch your left and right engines as they look swappable but are not, cables go up. Same for the exterior doors, look for the hole that the cables go thru.
This reminds me of building military scale models where you need to paint most of the subassemblies before gluing it all together and painting the outside.
I think it's cool that the backs open because you could put stormtroopers or clone troopers in there with the jedi or sith. Make it look like they are flying into battle.
You can run two commanders at a time. Also if you have governor pryce as the pilot you can nominate that unit as a commander. Lastly you do not NEED the core set to play although it is easier to start if you have a core set as it comes with dice, card, barricades and units at a reasonable price. That tangent aside great video!
Love your unboxing videos! This one didn’t look too bad. I wish they would actually post the additional instructions like they say they do. That’s something AMG will likely be better at
Nice, I thought we needed to wait for another month or two for this expansion. I hope for the Separatists, they make that big droid carrier in Episode one
Speaking of the pilot's i suppose it may be possible to find other's such as rebel's,mutants, etc and have the craft as some sort of captured bounty hunter or transport vehicle from the Outer Rim Territories. Once you've assembled it i think it looks like some sort of insect.
Enjoy your videos! This game looks fun, but my lack of experience in assembling and painting, plus storage and money keeps me from making the jump, lol.
That looks beautiful. It's too bad that I only play rebel, and separatist when my local store allows indoor gaming again. I did get the A5-5 though. Haven't done any work on it yet. Haven't decided how I'll be painting the interior yet.
I always love your unboxing and build videos. Especially when the models are fiddly. You help with the building curve. Thank you. PS. Do you think it is worth buying two of these and why?
You don't technically require a core set, The rules are online for free, The dice and measuring tools are available out of the sets, Their is enough cardboard in various sets that you don't really need the initial pile and even objective sets have been released meaning you can build an assest deck without the core set cards
Mine just arrived the other day, I won it in a Legion 99 list building competition. As a Rep player, I’m wondering if I should sell it to buy phase 2s (I currently have 2) or keep it to experiment with.
Parts #59 are nowhere in the instructions, but judging by their shapes & pins they're the controls for the cockpit if you don't use the pilot/gunner arms with the control sticks. Maybe that's in the "on-line instructions".
They go on the opposite side of the cockpit, so on the pilots right. I didn't have any holes on the right hand side to attach mine so had to pin vice drill my own.
I was so annoyed with the plans for them with the bottom wings. I glued them together before putting in the middle part that connected the wings thinking it slid in.... it had to be put in before you connecting the top and bottom. Lucky I fixed it by cutting the circle part top and bottom and it slide in. It extends a bit further then intended but it works. So upset at my self, and the design plans
Holy crap, why is it so hard to make a decent assembly guide...not to mention there is no detail assembly and painting guide that is referenced in the actual guide.
A single red LED hidden in the cockpit, would make it look amazing!
Don't throw away your Proof of Purchase people. It's a vital bit of terrain that's useable for all three games!
True true
The amount of times I've used POP for a stand in to remind me of something it may as well be a real game piece for me.
Could you elaborate? I'm new to Legion and not sure what do you mean by it being usable
@@misia_lina check out his april 1st/april fools video
My friend actually makes me keep all of mine becuase idk, he just is paranoid well need them some day lol.

I think I know where I'm putting my extra Fives and Echo models......
I wasn’t super excited about this ship until recently. Naturally, this has encouraged me to run out and get one...
There might be balancing they have in mind here, but I wish it at least had the option to be open so units could shoot out. If for no other reason than they did it in Clone Wars.
I love it how you support you local brick & mortar. Prost!!
I came in here to inquire about the A15 piece. Thank you!

YES
Just getting into legion! Cant wait to build a massive army!

Very cool build. Can't wait to see it painted and lit.

Thanks for the video. I received my pre-order over a week ago but was waiting for this video before I tried to assemble.
I absolutely LOVE this model...gorgeous! Hope my painting skills can do it justice

Thank you so much for the construction guide! I really needed it.
Yes Fox killed 5's! Really enjoy your videos when I get to watch them.
Surprised how big this kit is! Love it
You should try to add magnets so you can change out the pilots
Magnets are the veganism of this hobby
Love your unboxing videos! This one didn’t look too bad. I wish they would actually post the additional instructions like they say they do. That’s something AMG will likely be better at
Can’t wait to pick this up at my comic book shop, they are getting theirs this week. Are you going to make an A-A5 video soon?
Yup!
Nice, I thought we needed to wait for another month or two for this expansion. I hope for the Separatists, they make that big droid carrier in Episode one
Can't wait until this one arrives.
I only play X-Wing but these unboxings are so relaxing
i was surprised by how massive the laat/le was lol I thought it'd be smaller
Really slick looking model!
Super excited to get this in my collection!

Nice video man I have been looking forward to this video 👍
Damn this set looks nice. I was going to pick one up when I got extra paints but it was sold out already!!
I hope to make it usable for both my factions.
Gotta get the 41st Ranger camo clones, paint this thing in olive green, and blast some Fortunate Son over the loudspeakers
I'll be honest, when I saw "LAAT", i assumed it would be like the Clone Wars ones... still neat, just not what I anticipated!
I always love your unboxing and build videos. Especially when the models are fiddly. You help with the building curve. Thank you.
PS. Do you think it is worth buying two of these and why?
Looks beautiful. Cant wait to see the paint job. Also looks like you are as shaky as me!
I really want to get one of these
Awesome! Can't wait to get mine.
Can't wait. Days of painting ahead.
I can not wait for the battle report :)
I'm working on putting LEDs in my laat.
how do they not have online instructions up yet?
As always fantastic artwork. Crabbok, I was wondering if you had opinions on what your favourite FFG Star Wars art was? Maybe could do a video?
I cant wait to see the Speeder Truck
I really hope they release some more gunships. Would like see some rules for flying units.
I'm excited I get mine today!
Hoping this size becomes more of the norm for legion
Do you think it's possible to magnetise the cockpit cover to be able to change the pilots out?
I build a lot of armored vehicle models. This doesn't look like it would be too hard of a build.
Finally some aerial vehicles

this is really big wow
great vid as always
Hello from New Zealand
That looks amazing
I love that laat/ le
Oh I want this so much
That's a ton of layers.. I'd have to paint before building.
I don't think a tie would be repulsor I they added it, I have a feeling we'll get an imperial Saber tank
Really cool. I’ve asked before about red labels so sci-fi city nice to know do they have a website store
Mine just arrived the other day, I won it in a Legion 99 list building competition. As a Rep player, I’m wondering if I should sell it to buy phase 2s (I currently have 2) or keep it to experiment with.
Great box
yes a good idea
Despite the instructions being terrible, the model was fun to build
Nice vehicle. When is the CIS going to get more vehicle love?
After seen it in jedi fallen order, I just want it much more !
Wow that ship looks great! How easy is it to actually magnetize the pilots?
Parts #59 are nowhere in the instructions, but judging by their shapes & pins they're the controls for the cockpit if you don't use the pilot/gunner arms with the control sticks. Maybe that's in the "on-line instructions".
You'll need to put them in while constructing the cockpit. Trying to put them in later is pretty much impossible, especially for the gunner,
They go on the opposite side of the cockpit, so on the pilots right. I didn't have any holes on the right hand side to attach mine so had to pin vice drill my own.
I want this so bad, but us Aussie aren’t getting it till 3rd quarter.
do all SW legion models works with tamiya thin cement? or just the tanks and vehicles ?
Wow so cool
@crabbok when using as a field commander it retains the heavy rank (so you don’t need commander order tokens)
I still hope for the LAAT/i
FFG needs to work on there instructions 😂
No phase 1? That makes since, but I wish they had it.
That's one big boi
I was so annoyed with the plans for them with the bottom wings. Lucky I fixed it by cutting the circle part top and bottom and it slide in. It extends a bit further then intended but it works. So upset at my self, and the design plans
Im really considering getting this. Is it worth it if I only run one of the factions?
These heavies are quickly consuming livable space in my home!
Nice!
Awesome
i want one so bad lol
Any preference on open door vs closed door?
Do you know where I can have my paint
Since you just bought one I take it you gave up on preordering?
So do the troops actually fit in the ship
Nope
Long Live the Empire. Build starts at 11:31 mark
Wait, you can't fit minis in the back area???
Not easily.
It should also be rebal as they stole and used them in rebels.
Ah thank you I was servhing for a15
What the scale?
The glass is cool but annoying haha
🤠
Just paint the canopy
Holy crap, why is it so hard to make a decent assembly guide...not to mention there is no detail assembly and painting guide that is referenced in the actual guide.
