Enjoyed y’all racing together thanks for believing in a Jersey boy. Having someone from one town over make it to nascar was mind blowing and what a career Truex had. Truex would NEVER EVER get into broadcasting, hes an introvert, if hes not in that race car, hes doing his own thing somewhere else. Like Jr. said, the sport will basically be gone to him once hes out of the car.
NASCAR shouldn't try and go to different country's. The biggest problem is with the France family, grandparents remember where they came from and who got them there, today's France family does not have clue what it was like and what fans got them where they are now.
I'm confused. Noah is the best candidate for the 19. He has a great relationship with bass pro shop and he has finished in the top 10 or 15 in almost every race this season.
My first imperson race was 2019 Kentucky, And that finish made me a fan, truly being at the racetrack changes your perspective and can make you a fan for life
Honestly, I might not touch the track. The bumps make it unique and give drivers something they have to manage. If they repave the rest of the track, all of that will be gone and the track will have so much grip, I worry the off throttle time will decrease too much and the aero push will come back. They seem to have found a sweet spot with this partial repave.
Im pretty sure i raced with Dale and Truex back in the Papyrus Nascar Racing 2003 days. I was on that sim/game 24 7 from the time the game came out till they closed the online server. Fun fact i made some downloads for the game y'all might have used. I made templates for the photoshop car we used to paint our cars and made it higher dpi. And i created a more realistic under chassis and engine compartment when the car caught air or your front fenders and hood came off. I made whhen downloads and many other treats to make the game more realistic. I made my cars super high definition which made the cars 20 to 30 megabytes instead of the games original. I painted many people's cars as well. My racer names were Omen and Vindicator. I also exposed the cheat that some people were using. There was a guy named Cool Breeze he definitely was a cheater. I was given the cheat program by a cheater i befriended and exposed them. I never knew whate Dale raced as but i always hoped somewhere in some race he was there with us racing. Those were some fun times. I Also raced Papyrus Nascar Racing 2 or 3 whichever one they raced on the Ten network. I was told Dale Jr raced on that server but again not sure what his ID was but fun times. 😅
I've never understood how that all works. How close to real is it? What kind of money does it take to get into it? Is that the same thing as what JR had in the background of his vacation home?

Does everyone not understand what a quiet introvert is? MTJ isn't gonna be a broadcaster and he's not going to be interested in being on his own podcast. Even if it's about the outdoors. He's an introvert. I am as well. Even talking in something like this is somewhat difficult and gives me anxiety. I don't know why. I can tell myself "Hey, stop worrying and just talk.", unfortunately the mental aspect is an impossible roadblock to get past. And part of it is this, everyone is so excited to see MTJ to do this or that. You would be supportive and all that. But the second it starts, the second, here comes the nonstop criticism and complaining. It's who we are. So to introverts who are already doing exhausting mental gymnastics just to be in a public setting, being on a publicly viewed forum daily with your face on video and you know how many people are probably watching, it's hard to overcome. TL:DR MTJ has zero interest in being on a podcast or as a broadcaster on TV. He's not Harvick. He's an introvert. Go to a dictionary and learn what that means.
Once Marty retires I wonder if Dale would as him to race for him in the xfinity side? Maybe just pick a race. I think that would be cool. And final thing would Nascar ever go back racing at Rockingham speedway? Iowa reminded me of New Hampshire's race track. I mean if everyone goes back and looks at those 2 race tracks they both look the same. I think Kyle Busch is going to leave RCR racing after this year. I will say that he is not going to JGR he will find a team like say front row or Kaulig racing to race for. It will be an interesting rest of the season.

Hi Dale love your pod casts! You have trouble with your food getting stuck, my husband has had the same issue for some time now. He has to drink a lot of water as well, he can not eat at a Chinese restaurant he will lock up every time, found out it is a allergic reaction to certain foods, you will have to take mental notes to remember which foods do it for you so do not take bites of several doddering foods at one time. My husbands Aunt & Uncle have the same problem. Good luck Dale and Love all of your hood casts keep the good work!!
A caution is a caution regardless of whats happening. NASCAR is too concerned with the optics. They get in their own way all the damn time. Its so frustrating. Just be legitimate and let the races be legitimate.
I’ve had food that wouldn’t go down and had to go to the ER. They ran an endoscope, had to push the food down. Turns out I had a Shatzki ring caused by acid reflux and had to have my esophagus stretched.
Man got lucky cause pounding the back when choking is not the best thing to do. Can lodge it even more. Luckily seems you were not completely blocked if you were able to breath. What you want is have someone behind you with a fist on your belly button and the other hand on top and they need to quick and firm thrust inward with some upward motion.
Man I witnessed a Heimlich work at Disney World once. I was walking by and at one of the sort of walk up restaurants I saw a woman start doing the choking freak out and everyone else in her immediate area froze and I was mid sprint to her when someone else beat me to her gave her a couple good ones and cleared it for her. Adrenaline was high from that about 6 seconds of me not really even doing anything but potentially having to.
I will miss seeing Truex on the track. I saw him win in Charlotte in 2017 and then the championship that year and have pulled for him since. I hope he will come sit down with you on your show and tell us what he is up to one day.
i dont care about drag racing. but i went in person see motorcycle drags... the sounds smell people.. its experience... as for car racing... dont carre much aboiut, but its defintly better on tv... u cant see anything in person... in person is more about the people and drama and party...
Dale I had that issue with food you might have a hernia. Please go get that looked at. I went to the hospital In akron ohio. I tryed getting it out by throwing up but it cut in to my esophagus. It's no joke. Go get it looked at. They said I almost died. Was out of work for a month so you might have hernia and that's what is stopping the food. It has to do with the acid in your stomach. It's very scary when it happens.
I'm from Portland Oregon and there's not a sports radio station in town that talks about any Motorsports unless Xfinity is in town we do have a MRN affiliate station but they never play the race any of the races
I think u should have to be successful an possibly win or finish 2nd in championship for 2 yrs before u move to cup car but I am a sam fan hope to see him in cup but go win this yrs championship he will get a ride alot people dnt think about how important timing is it might be the most important thing in life work hard an be in the right place at the right time
Chase Briscoe is not a great driver in the cup series. He usually wrecks more than finish’s clean. He was a great xfinity driver. I think put Josh Berry in the 19 with Rodney Childers as his crew chief and I think JGR does great plus look what Josh does with substandard equipment think what he could do with great equipment and the knowledge at JGR.
They just aren't a good team. Sticking with Austin because of nepotism has really really hurt. He's not a Cup talent. He'd be bad in Xfinity. Absolutely pathetic what he's doing to the 3 car. Makes me sick. Kyle is a whiny type of guy who isn't happy unless everything is going good. When he runs into adversity, he folds. He did the same thing at Hendrick. How he didn't win a championship at Hendrick is wild. He had the best everything. Kyle has to be pampered.
Dale, Get Checked For An Esophageal Stricture If This Continues. I Have This Problem Myself And They Can Fix It With A Balloon Stretching Technique. Keep Safe Brother! PEACE
Tend to agree with dale but everytime that n wilkesboro race is brought up I keep thinking we watched a different race. Not a chance in hell that race was even close to as good as Iowa was
I'm stoked that Blaney finally got a win, and the actual racing was decent, but it was infuriating and kind of insulting to have to listen to hours of "these fans have been waiting" and "sold out crowd, 30k!" bullshit when Wisconsin waited 65 years for a Cup race, had 100k+ turnout for both Road America races, and then got shitcanned to make room for a gimmick.
That was larsons race he was by far the best car he just has to realize there are only a few drivers u can race close to an hard that want wreck u DanielSuarez Chastain eric jones those type of guys do not have great car control
I am 38 and live in Kansas City. I never went to a NASCAR race before and never really watched it. When I saw it on TV I always thought it was boring. Its just cars going left. Then a buddy I work with told me to go see it live. So I said ok I got nothing going on that weekend so I got a ticket and went to Kansas this year in may. I had such a blast. I had front row. I did not realize what an amazing spectator sport it was. When the pace car comes off and the race restarts in one of the funniest things I have ever seen live at a sporting event. The last 2 months or so I have been addicted and watch ever race. I picked up a few autos at my card shop and got a Larson and Reddick shirt when I was at the race. I think you guys just vented my experience into nascar. Get new people to the track. I am already looking at going to Phoenix in November for the championship.
I would leave Iowa the way it is. Paving the outer lane would make it the fast lane, almost a one lane track as it would be much faster than the low lane. I was so glad I took time to watch what I could of the race. Well I'm also a Blaney fan so that helped. Going to a race vs watching on TV is night and day. Nothing like driving home picking rubber balls from your hair. I've introduced a few folks to racing, one at the inaugural Texas race and another(my aunt n cousin) to Michigan. My aunt was amazed as she is not a sporting fan and thought they just drove in circles till I took her to pit row and explained the cars.
Iowa was a really good race. I enjoyed all of it. They didn’t shift at this track and there was some great racing. Definitely worked out on a somewhat short track. I wonder if Rick Ware racing will end up being like furniture row? They’ve definitely done a tons better. I wouldn’t say a 180 just because they haven’t won yet, but definitely impressed. It’s been a pleasant surprise this season.
Rockin me a Dirty Mo hat bought at the Iowa Speedway for Father's Day... Great race weekend and different than what I used to watch for 10yrs at Michigan
Getting folks to the track for the first time is pretty stinking difficult price wise. I know folks will kneejerk with "let them go to ARCA" or "let them go to XFINITY" but they are making the case for the counter. NASCAR eating up races at tracks they control and cutting out seats would be better served by making the empty seats cheaper and easier to get into.

A meal needs to be slow lovemaking, not a furtive quickee You learn that as you age. That's why old folks take so long to finish their plate...
Lettuce, commonly,, will cover your air pipe. You are very lucky my dear. SLOW DOWN!
You do have internet right?
I would repave Iowa. Race was good this year but I think it could be even better with 3-4 lanes.
I get food stuck all the time. Usually end up throwing up. Sometimes standing up helps.
I think u should have to be successful an possibly win or finish 2nd in championship for 2 yrs before u move to cup car but I am a sam fan hope to see him in cup but go win this yrs championship he will get a ride alot people dnt think about how important timing is it might be the most important thing in life work hard an be in the right place at the right time
Dale, I love that T-shirt!!!!!
I wonder if Mexico will get the Gateway slot since Gateway may be a playoff race
Several different foods, pod casts. Sorry for the mis spelling 🤣
Did the heimlich 2x to others and had it done 1x to me. Very memorable events
Your choking issue sounds like the beginning of throat cancer get it check out
Cringe ever time Andrew cuts dale off for bs comments
Chase Briscoe is not a great driver in the cup series. He usually wrecks more than finish’s clean. He was a great xfinity driver. I think put Josh Berry in the 19 with Rodney Childers as his crew chief and I think JGR does great plus look what Josh does with substandard equipment think what he could do with great equipment and the knowledge at JGR.
I like Briscoe Darling more than Chase Briscoe.
RCR has a lot of work to do. Results are in the details, Kyle can't compete; Dillon might be having his worst year to date. Something has to change.
Thank thank thank, love the show, old man tom.
Glad you enjoyed it
When Rusty Wallace designed Iowa, he wanted that bump in the turn to make it a more challenging track for the DRIVER'S
Congratulations on the upgrade's
Dale, Get Checked For An Esophageal Stricture If This Continues. I Have This Problem Myself And They Can Fix It With A Balloon Stretching Technique. Keep Safe Brother! PEACE
Tend to agree with dale but everytime that n wilkesboro race is brought up I keep thinking we watched a different race. Not a chance in hell that race was even close to as good as Iowa was
Couldn't agree more. The All Star race was completely garbage
Well he made a dumb mistake so it wasn't his race at all. He's great but he messed up.
Give the Milwaukee mile a trial as well please lol
hey i like advance auto parts store
Rockin me a Dirty Mo hat bought at the Iowa Speedway for Father's Day... Great race weekend and different than what I used to watch for 10yrs at Michigan
Remember you were not racing but eating
Getting folks to the track for the first time is pretty stinking difficult price wise. I know folks will kneejerk with "let them go to ARCA" or "let them go to XFINITY" but they are making the case for the counter. NASCAR eating up races at tracks they control and cutting out seats would be better served by making the empty seats cheaper and easier to get into.
boy jr sure does take orders from the wife
First Cup Ticket FREE (something similar) 🤔may be a good draw for new eyes 👍🏆✌️🇺🇸
