Fantastic! Would love to hear more tips on your travels! We have Hilton Max and use the point system as well. We bought knowing we wouldn't need a one location vacation home and we didn't want to have a RV that is labor and cost intensive!

That's exactly how we felt! Why worry about the costs associated with a second home! And we've had a great time renting RVs, but we like more amenities like pools and hot tubs and activities. Thanks for watching!

Thanks guys. As an American Expat who has lived overseas for many years and also had the "parent experience" with Timeshares I was really reluctant when my German hubby wanted to jump in to an II property in Europe, especially since there are not so many properties over here. We tried to buy second hand but for this elite property there was nothing on the market. Like you, we just calc how much a week costs us (for us it includes buy-in and maintenance), the fact that we do not view it is an investment (for us it is a 10x usage or 10 yrs and then it is done) and it comes out much cheaper than what we would typically have to spend. Hope to see you both on our side of the pond and we can chat more.

People LOVE their European timeshare properties! The good news for you all is you will most likely be able to sell and recoup some of that cost as the European properties hold their value! Thanks for watching! Wishing you many happy vacations. :)

Just wondering if you could direct me in the right place ? What resort are you staying in Costa Rica ?

@@JenniferWeinheimer-x5g We traded into the Marriott Los Suenos in Costa Rica. It’s a really popular destination with only 42 rooms - so tricky to get - but obviously doable! I check Interval International several times a day. As often as I check Facebook or email. It’s become a habit. I think that has been the reason I have had such great trades. Summer will be a popular time to go. Off season is the fall - it’s also rainy season then. But from what I’ve read, the rainy season does not mean continuous rain. You get some rain but plenty of good weather too.

@@JenniferWeinheimer-x5g Hi Jennifer! New Years in Vegas is a great week! Can the person who gifted you the timeshare sit down with you and show you how to trade? That would be the best help because they would know it inside and out. But I can also help you if you tell me what resort system you have - such as Marriott or Wyndham.
