Excellent job! But I'm going on a different path. I bought my son a 2016 Ford Fusion with the basic factory audio system. I am wondering if it is possible to disconnect and remove all the factory speakers and install all new speakers with all new speaker wire without disturbing any other functions of the factory audio system? I have (and plan on installing)....... Sony XM-GS6DSP GS Series 6/5 Channel Class-D Bluetooth Amplifier with DSP .....badically, its a "stand alone" amplifier which gets its audio signal via Bluetooth pairing. With this amplifier, the factory radio will basically be bypassed. I already have the amolifier, speakers and all necessary wires. I tried installing this similar setup in my other sons Lexus, but it wasnt successful because his car has voice/navigation and with the factory speakers disconnected, he couldnt hear the voice navigation instructions. I
Install new speakers will not affect the radio functions. Im not too familiar with the 6ch amp, but i think you still need wire output to the aftermarket speakers (midrange). 🤔
I did this too and I was running the sound from the amp man through my door speakers and the back speakers were making a lot of noise. So I need to find a positive wire to cut.😢
I did this with the same loc except I taped into the passenger side b pillar for the Brown white + and brown blue - and not getting power to the amp on a 2013 fusion. Not sure why I’m not getting power if anyone has any input it would be appreciated
So, you can T Tapp the positive and negative from one side? I've seen other videos and they say to get the positive from speakers on the drivers side and the negative from the passenger side speakers. I'm confused.
Great content. I have everything to do this in my girlfriend's 2015 thanks for a detailed video. Much appreciated brother
Great, Thank you very much for sharing ❤
In search and on here it's listed as fusion but remember it's a focus like he posted in beginning of video. Don't know if exactly the same.
what year is your?
