There are over 40 figures from the movie they haven't included yet. I counted them. Yes some we have in other lines but not specifically in the 86 movie line.
I don’t think the 86 line will not end for 15 years because what people don’t remember is the 86 movie had multiple redrafts meaning multiple unused concept art designs and Hasbro could just start doing 86 concept art designs bayverse fans won’t be happy when they realize that 😂😂😂😂
Soundwave, Ravage, and Lazerbeak are the only ones that needs new molds. Otherwise, just reissue and redeco/retool Prowl, Quintesson Judge, Allicon, Cyclonus, and Rodimus Prime from the WfC line and the Insecticons and Blitzwing from Legacy.
Many of the characters were released, but not in SS86 packaging. Like the quintisson, Cyclonus, reflector, the seekers other than Star scream. They were all in the movie.
But we have to take it into account that some of them were released in SS 86 like Cliffjumper and Starscream. So who’s to say they won’t do the others you just listed off like that, end it off with a bang and do the final figure as Rodimus prime
Also on the 86 topic we still need Shockwave Seekers? Dead Wheeljack Rodimus prime Unicron? Ravage+lazerbeak but were prob gettin them with Soundwave New cliffjumper with new bee mould
Dead Wheeljack should be in a 2 pack with a new mold of Windcharger also retooled as dead. Both corpses were in together after all. And expect the Rodimus to be just a re-issue of the Kingdom one, with slight repainting at best.
Theres plenty still to make: Quintessons, plenty of junkion variants also Missing. Hasbro could also make the Arc, Nemesis, Quintesson ship, Junkion Ship, Autobotcity as 86 Titans. Dead Optimus Prime etc
Hasbro is going to put every 86 movie Transformer in Studio Series packaging eventually. Getting SS86 Jazz and Snarl is all the proof we need that no amount of screentime is too small for a Studio Series release. It's looking like they're dropping the Studio Series subline names this year, but we're still going to get 86 and Gamer Edition characters. Heck, we're probably going to get around to SS-86 Grapple before this is over, and he only had a background appearance for under five seconds in the battle for Autobot City.
I do feel like 2026 is a good time for 86 to end, it had a solid 5 year run. Just do reissues sprinkled in later on but I want Gamer Edition to get more attention, like give us leader classes in that sub-line.
i am sooooo glad i am finished with seasons 1 - 4 . in some way shape or form ...just waiting on seeing 86 megs but i just ordered mp 36 ...now if i can make him shorter 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I keep hoping to get Kranix & Arblus figures from the 86 line. Hasbro has never made decent figures of either of them. They both deserve something. Their planet was eaten. Also, I want the Quintesson judge to be released in that line so I can get a second for non-scalper price.
Jazz was a character named after a style of music from 30-40 years before that time that produced certain stereotypical of people and was still niche-cool at the time. Maybe he should be updated to a modern analog. Grunge? Soundcloud rap? Nu-metal? Hair-metal?
Still some more '86 movie character or repaints they can do; like battle-damaged Megatron, Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Insecticons. Nonethless, I hope they do some Transformers Devastation figures, namely the generic Decepticon troops.
Change "studio series" to "Screen Series" and have a dedicated line solely for screen accurate decos of mainline figures, like an extension of SS86, pretty much an entire line of dramatic capture but as a mass retail sold series! All they would need to do for the most part is reissue WFC trilogy figures in G1 cartoon accurate decos
I really am looking forward to a TFOne Jazz. Of that character, I only have his origins version, as the 86 figure is too fragile (I have the retooled Knockout, his roof is falling apart) and like hell I am buying the 2007 version.
Studio Series makes sense as long as there films coming out.Legacy makes snese for as long as they can bring back characters from non-films. They're both evergreen series they could just keep going for much much longer
I don't expect a new tooling for Galvatron, but I CAN see them trying a new SS86 Rodimus Prime so his robot mode is as tall as SS86 Optimus. I can picture a reissue of the WFC Quintesson in SS86, and we know there's going to be an SS86 Cliffjumper. I'm hoping for at least ONE more retool of the SS86 Wreck-Gar into another Junkion, maybe Hazmat or something. I also want to see a smaller scale Titan Class Unicron. Not a reissue of that Haslab thing, but one that's more like a scaled up Armada Unicron like that Amazon version with the 86 styled head to be at least as tall if not slightly taller than Fortress Maximus. After all, SS86 isn't WFC and as SS86 Optimus proved, they can make a new mold for SS86 if they want to. Galvatron didn't NEED one but maybe Rodimus and Unicron could justify the new molds. I CAN see the line ending in 2026 if ONLY because Hasbro is scaling back on producing toys themselves so maybe they will start scaling back on Transformers production and end the line. Here's hoping we get some great SS86 figures out IF they do...
I'm not opposed to SS86 subline ending in 26, as long as they finish off the minibots still needing updated like Seaspray, Powerglide, Windcharger, Swerve, Tailgate. TBH, i don't know why they started "86" so early anyway so that when the actual 40th rolled around all the bots from the movie were essentially done. Personally I'd have liked to see a bit more coverage of the the series after the movie such as Sandstorm but he got the Legacy release, I'd also be keen on a new Octane for SS86/SS87. BTW I think they need to try and repack Thrust into SS86 as the target was a HTF item. TBH, I'm not in the camp of wanting all previous figures reissued just for the sake of putting them in SS86 packaging. Even though I'd have really liked it if Cyclonus had been instead of Kingdom, for purely in package consistency, I'm fine with how it turned out as an opener. That said, Hasbro loves repacks and repaints because of the revenue it generates so who knows. It was a great run for five years and it was a major factor that actually got me back into collecting Transformers again.
at least that means we will get entire constructicon set by next year? makes me nervous we wont get an updated blitzwing, since they said they were making every 86 movie transformer in the 86 series
well, all considered, who's left of important characters aside the ones already leaked/listed? Unleds they want to do a SS86 titan class Unicron or some other secondary remold of Junkions, we're just missing repaints like Vlitzwing or Shockwave.
7:50 this is the problem. You can’t keep stringing along these sub groups in the community and expect them to just pony up the cash when you finally get around to releasing something. Within the time it took them to get around to making age of extinction Optimus, I got the SDCC Voyager and platinum edition leader and have absolutely zero need for the new one they made. Why on earth would I buy it? Hell as far as that goes, why would I even buy the nemesis prime that’s rumored to be coming out when I have the Takara variant of the Voyager…
Exactly Hasbro stringing along fans is going to have consequences me personally I’m not gonna really be collecting transformers from hasbro after this year and I already got the yolopark optimus
These are my top wanted figures I want to see in the SS86 line now that Astrotrain and Soundwave have been leaked - Prowl (alive) - Rewind - Cyclonus - Skywarp - Thundercracker - Blitzwing - Schrapnel - Kickback - Bombshell - Ravage - Laserbeak
I want windcharger and them to just release the 5 pack autobots in single packs. I just want my cartoon accurate sunstreaker hound and wheeljack. And then for them to make a dead two pack for wheeljack and windcharger.
They treat Jazz like they do Clifjumper. Cliffjumper was split in two in the Bumblebee movie and in Transformers Prime turned him into a zombie and split in two. Disregarded characters left in the dust.
Too early in the year for me to be thinking about 2026 as we haven't even seen most of what's coming out this year outside of the first Waves. I will be on board for a brand new Astrotrain, and Soundwave, but after repurposing Galvatron, Blaster, and Springer into 86 it's anybody's guess what Hasbro will do at a Leader price point. As for existing figures really just want an 86 Prowl, and Cyclonus at this point. All plastic versions of Ironhide, and Ratchet would also be cool to see.
Honestly, i'm going to miss the eighty six line If it does end. I mean, they could just make it the eighty four line and just do G1 characters all the time. That aside, there is an 86 figure. I'm very curious to see how they do because I don't think anyone's really thought of it. but there's going to be an 86 unicron at some point
Since the SS sublines were merged with normal Studio Series, I wonder if the idea of it ending or having a consistent schedule matters anymore. That being said, I hope we can get a 86 Quintesson cause the Earthrise prices make me weep
As a big SS86 fan I'd be fine with the line wrapping up, other than repaints there isn't much left to do anyway, maybe a couple other Junkions, Dead Wheeljack and Windcharger...? I guess Kranix, Arblus, and the Quintesson Prosecutor if they could figure out alternate modes for them? Speaking of repaints, WHERE'S 86 PROWL, HASBRO? We got the dead version like a year and a half ago and the ER version was almost five years ago and in an exclusive multipack. As bad as Jazz has been getting it, I'd argue Prowl has had it even worse
It better end next year, They’ve only made a few AoE and Tlk characters, but instead of completing those movies casts they’ve been remaking g1 characters that got figures in the Wfc and legacy trilogies
Just because they only did movies until now doesn't mean they can't expand the Studio Series line to the TV shows. SS84, SS85, SSBW? That could very well be a possibility.
We need a lot of characters still. Especially from the Bayverse. Hopefully we do get Skids and Mudflap. Some concept designs from the Bayverse would be cool as well.
I think SS86 branding will end…. But screen accurate figures will continue being made. It’ll just be re-branded. It may stay a subline in SS, but it will encompass the cartoon show as well and the label will be something similar to MOTU’s Cartoon Collection. But SS86 can’t keep going because there are almost no characters left from the movie to make. Maybe Hastak will re-release characters like Huffer and Cyclonus who were in Kingdom. But the branding will be different. SS86 has been my favorite line since it began…. But it’s time to move on. Hastak will definitely keep pulling from the G1 well, but with new packaging.
No argument here. Hasbro is in the red and it needs every line that makes a profit. I think interest will quit before Hasbro when it comes to the Studio line. The short short story is, that plenty of collectors have come in, gotten the figures they want and got out. As for the 86 line, they'll probably doo a second round of Dinobots in a more compressed run. Maybe a multipack for the Decepticons, but nothing ground breaking.
We're growing old... G1 will fade in the next decade... I don't think they will do a lot of redos. Blitzwing should get one though... Wincharger definitely... Bluestreak, Hound? Dead Wheeljack and Windcharger for sure. Maybe more Quintessons? But I do see it winding down...

Can we please just do something different, all I see are boxes and boxes and boxes of what are called g1 characters. It was cool at first but I just want some new things, but if you are a g1 then well I guess it’s a good day for you then
What do yall think❓️❓️❓️
There are over 40 figures from the movie they haven't included yet. I counted them. Yes some we have in other lines but not specifically in the 86 movie line.
Good riddance

I do NOT see them doing a Unicron but it would be neat
Unicron was HasLab, so they're definitely not doing an SS86 Unicron of any kind.

Yes finally someone said kranix man I luv you Kranix
I misread this and thought you said Studio Series as a whole was ending and I almost had a heart attack.
Prowl is 2nd in command, Jazz is special operations
That's what I always believed
Watch the first episodes of G1. Jazz is 2nd in command.
Watch the 2007 Transformers live action movie. Jazz is 2nd in command.
@@Gregory11811 another example of the bayverse being way more accurate to g1 than people wanna believe lol
No. Jazz is second in command
@@fulcrumagent Prowl was second in command in his G1 biography and the comics. Guessing the roles has been switched.
I would like them to redo The seekers for 86
Since "coronation starscream" was the same earthrise mold I dont think that would happen. What's wrong with those versions?
@PixelsNcreatureS basically more packaged refreshes
@@smileformer968 ah in box collectors, I forgot. Cool
They probably gonna scale back, they probably gonna try and do more concept art stuff but it could be for any SS line
:D thanks for the shoutout
I mean, it makes sense for the subline to end on the 40th anniversary of the movie
If 86 is ending, which means we are probably getting 86 shockwave very soon
I hope that we will get studio series Predacons rising line to take 86s place
They should do a TFP line for ss
