Pick out the "thirds from your assigned progressions chord by chord, one barr (measure) at a time . Slowly put to memory each chord (2 notes as 3rd's) and then add the next measure (barr) ... decide how many chords and measure/barr you can play well enough into memory. Move to the next progression and repeat for the desired melody you wish to harmonize with. After you have gained enough memory and speed and your happy then go back and add the missing notes (5th's and 7th's) to each chord in each measure/barr. If you also know the vocals by heart...you'll gain more memory for the chords and your timing to match.
I really want to build my ear training - How about taking your ear training lesson to the next level? A lesson with built-in repetition drills would be a real improvement over the existing BTG lesson.

Just what I need to hear.

I have a problem finding the right Guitar effect on my Amplitube any suggestion?
Great info.
When I look up the key of a song I often get different keys listed for the same song - how do I sort that out?
They could be relative keys. The easiest way if you’ve established whether it’s major or minor is use your ear to find the key
I was waiting for some actual lesson
Find the scale? You have said over and over that learning scales is NOT the way to learn to play guitar???
Well of course you need to know the scale because how are you going to play in key?? Come on man
A bunch of jargon, how about some practical examples.
