i'm planning to hike this region in april 2020 ... any advice on the best mountain and some that still has snow on summit?
I recommend the Kuju area in Oita (Mt. Kuju, Mt. Mimata, Mt. Taisen) or Mt. Yufu in Beppu. April is a bit late for snow in Kyushu though. You might catch the last of it in early April. I will have a video on Kuju up next week.
