    Where do I begin 😂
    First thing I noticed, right off the bat was the subtitles. (I'm at work and can't have the audio on)
    When it said "Kutsukakeyama" I knew right away you did the subtitles manually 😂😂 No way in hell RUclips would have automatically transcribed that 😂😂
    Second, all these comments on your video. I don't even get this kind of engagement which further leads me to believe youtube has cursed my channel.
    Third, your profile on yamap. You get all kinds of crazy comments on there 😳
    Don't forget me when you have a million subscribers. 😭😂

    • @KyushuTrail
      @KyushuTrail  4 года назад

      Yep! I always do the subtitles manually because I’m not the clearest of speakers. My English has gone a little downhill in the last couple of years.
      YAMAP is an insanely popular hiking app/website and I guess being a foreigner makes my profile stick out a little.
      I don’t know about the engagement. Some of the comments are from youtubers I like and subscribe to so I guess it’s kind of a community thing.
      I don’t think I’ll ever get so many subs. I’m toooo niche! Haha

    Hi how is life these days in Kyushu? My friend and I were hoping to celebrate her 60th birthday with a week in Kyushu including hiking Mt. Miyanoura, Mr Kuji and may Kaimon. What do you think? will things be shut down May 17-24th which is when we are hoping to be there. Is it too early to know for sure? would you be willing to befriend me on facebook so I can check in again as it gets closer?

      @@KyushuTrail Hey! We love your videos and continue to use them for hike research. Would you recommend Beppu/Oita as a home base for easy access to the area? No car. Any other favourite hike areas around? We'll eventually be making our way out to Fukuoka. Great videos!

    • @KyushuTrail
      @KyushuTrail  4 года назад +1

      Hey Brandon! I think Beppu would make a fine home base. You can catch buses from there to places like Mt. Yufu, Mt. Tsurumi, and the Kuju mountains (www.busnavi-oita.com). Beppu is also close to the Kunisaki Peninsula which has some great hikes. Although I mostly hike in Fukuoka, I’m heading to Oita a couple of times in the next few months. I’m going to check out Haneyama and Tawarayama.
