@@alanoandkhanya Hello, there. 👋Congrats on your relationship. I had to do lobola, too, and my mother-in-law from time to time reminds me that I haven't finished paying (I heard that some charges will be forgotten, but apparently not mine!) If you have a few moments, I invite you to view my trip to my wife's homeland in Africa. ruclips.net/video/E1XNeg-7aYI/видео.html Thanks! ✌
OMG! I’m so glad I stumbled across your channel ❤️ 1) this story was so interesting, beautiful and funny 2) I’m a South African living in America and just love our culture 3) I’m also in a mixed race marriage so nice to hear other couples experiences 4) Khanya is so gorgeous, natural and stunning 😊❤️
Amazing how your negotiations are almost the same as ours. I am from the kalenjin community of Kenya. Just bumped into your channel and I'm here to stay. Congratulations 😍
I always watch multiracial vlogs and came across your videos. I like what I see as a South African and wish you good luck and hope you get as much subscribers as you can. Love you guys. beautiful couple indeed
I'm very happy for you guys. It's nothing more wonderful than finding that special person that you love like no other....but when your families connect in that special way too it's almost like being divinely favored. Much love and blessings to you both and your families as well. 💕
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I was familiarised with the different South African accents by watching Trevor Noah's stand ups and also watching Generations- that SA soap opera.
oh my gosh...i was smiling throughout while watching this video....u guys are so sweet n look so so happy together...match made in heaven man....may God bless your union.
I am speaking this into existence may God bless your union you guys look beautiful inside and outside mkwenyana he is so down to earth super humble you guys your channel is not that old but I feel like we are your kids and you are our beautiful parents and we are just here cheering mom and dad 😍❤️ you should see the smile on my face every time I see my notification I couldn't wait to sit and enjoy if I could I would be the first view all the damn time ♥️❤️♥️🙏
I love this! I'm from South Sudan and i just participated in my cousins negotiation process it was so much fun lol it was a two day process where on the first day it was the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We had to play a script in which we "needed" money for medical expenses the money will actually be used by the girls to prepare for the wedding (hair, makeup, dresses). The second day is the real negotiation where the uncles participate.
Nyarout Jock , I’m Luba from DR Congo. When my brother married his now wife, the script was that the money was needed to fly her to FL from Kentucky. But I said no, I saw the bride a few days ago for her bridal shower 😂.
Congratulations! Beautiful story and how awesome that you are starting out life together respecting each other’s culture. For that I am proud of you. Blessings and more blessings upon you. May the peace of our Lord always be with you. This is a story worthy to be heavenly blessed. 🎀✝️✝️✝️
I love that I just came cross your channel in my recommended I started with this video and went to binge watch your other videos and when I was done, I was like aaaahhhh That’s it?!! I wanted mooooore You both are so amazing across the screen. Do you have an upload schedule? I can’t wait for more content from you guys Love you!!! You explained the lobola thing so well It’s usually hard to explain it to people from the western culture I am Zimbabwean living in Canada and anyone that wants to understand what it is, I will send them to this video
Thank you so so much Tsitsi ❤ You are so wonderful. We don't have a schedule just yet but for now we're trying to upload every 7-10 days but we'll get a schedule soon 😍 Thank you again we really appreciate you ❤❤❤❤
I’m from the DR Congo. When I saw my brother do this last December it was awesome. We call it predote and dote in Congo. That’s the French word. In Swahili we say mahari or kufunga mulango. I know this tradition is in all African cultures, but to see that you guys do it exactly the same is fascinating! Where is Alano from?
What?? Wow!! I love that ❤ Congrats to your brother. Wishing him a long, happy and succesful marriage. Alano is also South African. He's from Port Elizabeth specifically.
beautiful couple, ndinifisela intlantla kumtshato wenu and may God be the foundation of your union. Side note: I have been living in Sweden 3 years now listening to you guys just made me miss home 💖
I adore you two l’ve watched all your videos on here. Started following you Khanya on Instagram. Sending the kindest regards to you both. 🥂here’s to an amazing future
Lovely video of a beautiful couple in love with each other! I didn't know Xhosa and Zulu fine prospective in-laws for any missteps! Mthwakazi people didn't fine anyone when I was growing up in Zimbabwe in the 1980s. They started fining in the late 1990s and I always assumed it was a Shona thing. All the best Alano and Khanya..👌🏿👌🏿

Well I watched this earlier and I thought your family has officially grown into a GREAT FAMILY. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL, Stay in love, teach him how to cook something.

What a gorgeous woman! Skin is perfect and her facial bone structure is perfect!

If once you complete the lobola negotiations, you're legally married, in the eyes of the court of South Africa.
Yes. Under Cultural Law.

The negotiations are very similar to Kikuyu tradition! (Kenya). Bantu ✊🏾
LOVE IT! YES! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

Yeah even in Cameroon. In my culture its the same thing. Its the same thing across Africa. We just call it differently ✌🏿
@@welisanerich5376 ✌🏿
