How to hookup both wireless phscrometers to measure superheat....one utilized for supply psycrometer at bottom of outdoor condenser measuring ambient and return psycrometers at the return grill give me TSH?
Ok vid. 1) Whats the max distance from probe to sman ? 2) maybe do close ups of buttons for those of us watching the vid on our smart phone small screens & have not seen the product yet. writing is blurry at this distance. 3) Can u manually name a probe ? like txv in. txv out ? evap out ? evap in ? drier inlet ? drier outlet ? etc.
Like I have three probes for temp but the third probe is worthless when using the third probe. It dosent have anything for the outside unit on the joblink app
The Job Link probes run around $100 a piece if you buy them individually (you can use one wireless pipe clamp with one of the wired clamps that come with the manifolds). Manifolds are running about $450-475 for the 3-port, $550-575 for the 4-port, but distributors set their own prices so check with the one you normally shop at.
I’ve gotten all my stuff from trutechtools. I have the 4 port with pro set ball valve hoses($750), and 2 psychrometers, and 2 manometers on the way. Had the smoothest fireoff today, with plenty of reassurance because of my air data, by running the gauges, psychrometers and free Fieldpiece app. About $1,000-$1,500 if you’re also looking at clamps, scale, and manometers. This system is pretty amazing though. It will calculate the load conditions with the data it’s receiving in the app and you can calibrate until you reach the provided target while crossing checking delta T, never having stepped away from the outdoor unit.
I’m pretty sure they give you a dry bulb thermistor with the gauges right? You could just take it with that, I agree that seems like an issue to me but the gauges solve that issue in my eye
Can you call into our tech department for troubleshooting at 714-634-1844? Or you can email your phone number to fpmarketing@fieldpiece.com and someone will contact you. :)
Can’t remember? I think they connected after an update. Then the manifold broke a week out of warranty. They sit in the dump. Still have the clamps though.
You only have to do those inputs once and then after that they’re permanently hooked up every time you turn on the device?. If so that would be OK. If you had to go to that routine every time you use the tools I think I would throw them off the roof. That would be a dealbreaker not to buy the tool.
@@johnconnor7501 yes thank God I have a few SM480V Definitely loving the gauges and the Bluetooth wireless sensors. I got three sets, the whole entire kit of the Bluetooth wireless sensors and five fieldpiece gauges. I’m a believer
Will the Sr47 scale connect to sman 480v
Is that connected to your scale as well? I notice the pounds and oz at the top of the SMANS.
The scale is also JobLink compatible and connects to SMANs :)
Reminds me of my old antique Larance fish-finder.
I only have the probe, do I have to have the gauges??

Do you have to connect each tool every time you turn the gauges on?
I just connected mine and turned it on and off and they all reconnected themselves

Will this work with the SMAN 460
About how much is that setup with those probes and the wireless clamps?

If you have just the probes there’s no way to sync one to the outdoor drybulb at the condenser thru joblink

Great !
Tried it 5 times. Will not connect my wireless clamps. Driving me crazy

How did you go?

Please tell me you can mute the button 😂
Very nice guy But the machine is no good don’t buy nothing 👎👎👎👎👎
