A good game guys! As a Penn State fan, you guys had me going a couple of times. A much deserved spot in the playoffs. Hope to see you guys in it again.
BSU had a great team this year and should be deeply pleased with the season, even w/ this loss. Brought back memories of Kellen Moore, CP, et al circa 2009-2011. This team is worthy of that legacy
This team has so much to be proud of! They are true champions and everyone will always remember how amazing they are. It's not just about winning the game. They experienced something special with their commeraderie, their unity, and the love and support from their fans that other teams could only dream of. ❤
Loved moving to Idaho and cheering on the Broncos. They had a great season. Looking forward to watching them again next year. Love hearing them honoring God, too.
Thank you Jesus for such an incredible season and forever Boise State is on that first College Football Playoff, already excited for next year. Penn St. is just another top tier program. Those Mighty Broncos of Boise are one of kind like no other. AMERICA'S TEAM.. Must be the water in all them hot springs
Congratulations on your season. Thanks for your love of OUR Savior and not being ashamed of your faith. I love the reaction of the player, number 91. All glory to God. These young men are Champions in every sense
Prior to the coaching change last season this team was really struggling. Since that change they've gone from the doldrums to qualifying for the first ever playoffs and playing in the Fiesta Bowl. Where's the shame in that? I know they're disappointed. Everyone wants to be the last man standing. That comes with the territory of being a competitive athlete. But where's the shame? And what complaining fan could have done a better job out there on the field? The Broncos were beaten by a very good top-tier team with excellent players who were well-prepared with a winning defensive game plan. They just outplayed us. But that should not diminish what this Boise State team has accomplished or who they have become in the process. Every Bronco is a winner in my book. Congratulations to Penn State. Good luck in the next round.
Praise God 🙏 the only thing i saw could have been done more in this game was utilizing ashton in the receiving game more but most of that is on the quarterback making the quick decision to check it down to him right away even if he isn’t the number one your trying to go to, multiple plays i saw ashton with nothing but a couple people around him not being close to him well on clear pass plays. In big games sometimes you have to go of script to get it done and they didn’t. i remember watching payton manning play he was always checking it down to his rb when there wasn’t anything and quick. when you have barry sanders caliber talent you have to get the ball in his hands unscripted if anything to create something of nothing or you have to go johnny manzel style and run it like you are Ashton yourself north south.
"We're going to do it [football] different. It's based on love. based on giving Jesus the glory. If people don't like that, don't come here," (12:26) Holy smokes! So is Danielson saying that if you aren't a Christian, or don't want to be constantly proselytized by over-zealous Christian staff and team members, then you are not welcome at Boise State University? Seriously? Is that the official policy now at Boise State? Can a public institution receiving federal funds even can make such a statement? Has BSU become a privately funded institution and I didn't get the memo? Asking for a friend.
He’s a cornball? I don’t think the people’s champ Ashton Jeanty who turned down 7 figures thinks he’s a cornball. I don’t think Ahmed who left Egypt to play for Spencer thinks he’s a cornball. Changed his life. That’s not corny that’s love. Sorry you don’t have that in your life.
He never said it was about Jesus being worried, but about how we are created to glorify Him in everything, whether we win or lose. We give it all we got.
Just the opposite. Jesus is absolutely concerned with every aspect of our life. Listen to his perspective and what he’s said all year. It’s consistent. He will praise Him regardless of circumstance. Belief isn’t about changing our earthly status. A relationship with Him means worldly things like football are secondary to eternity. And Spencer is a teacher using football to build relationships with young men and turn them into great leaders. Boise is a special place and it’s because of people like this who have resolve in their faith. This guy represents what college football should be.
Coach Danielson he is not the best player in college football, respectfully. The BEST player got awarded the Heisman a few week ago. Even without the QB feeding him the ball every play he has a good game.
T Hunter is just a show emblem for Dione. Look at the stats comparison and you will learn that the best player was and is Ashton. I so hope he does not go to NFL this year and comes back his senior year and continue breaking records.
Wow go ahead coach tell them about Jesus! Amen amen. Also let Deion Sanders’ speak like this the whole world would be mad again 😂. Jeanty almost at everything this 2024 season 😂
If you think those are the only things that define us your not a true fan. Going from Andy to this in the cfp era is next to extraordinary. Penn st had to sell out and load the box all night and we still moved down the field we just couldn't get in the red zone when we needed
@ponyboyc so getting close to historic is the standard? We were close to historic on multiple things and didnt get a single one finished. Stop gatekeeping. I've probably been here longer than you have. It's okay to talk about the failures not everything is rainbows. Fans like you irritate me.
@APBB84 hahaha ypu know nothing about me. If we wanted to make history we wouldn't have pulled jeanty those 2 games. We let our 3 best qbs go we have a oc that doesn't really wanna be here I'm surprised half the team stayed we almost had a historic season last year just in the opposite direction our defense is not what it should be and we have no Elite wr and our qb is just playing in a safe system. Watching the games play out all season if we went against a top team in any category we were going to struggle all we did was put on film that we can only run the ball and dirk didn't even call good run plays he was trying to protect jeanty all game. Unless we are willing to spend money this is where we are going to be. Any other year we would have won that game but now we are playing million dollar teams to pretend it's not that is crazy no I understand that a new coach who only recruited what 20 guys in the off season took us to the cfp in his first year is historic this isn't just some random ny6 bowl anymore it's the playoffs look who we have coming in now for next year some actual top talent and depth if guys stay. If we fail next year I'll have the same outlook you have this year would have been a waste cuz if we can get there with a b team we better win after building an a team.
All this Jesus nonsense is annoying. Some of us don’t trust what humans wrote and collected in a book 2,000 years ago. Humans are never to be trusted. Ever. You obviously haven’t learned this, but that’s ok. Remain blissful.
The thing to remember is that human beings have always expended prodigious amounts of energy and imagination, in almost countless ways, on their fear of death and how they might overcome it (both the fear, and death itself).. We have constructed entire ways of thinking and being, both personal and culturally, based upon our obsessive efforts to mitigate or deny this fear and its dreadful predicate. Thus, since the very beginnings of recorded history humans have indulged themselves in imagining and constructing various and sundry "immortality projects." Embedded in many of these projects is the fallacy of human superiority, bequeathed by some constructed god, and our efforts to subjugate and master all of non-human nature. But that's another thesis for another day. For the purpose of this discussion, here's the crux: Once a human being has convinced themselves of the "truth" of some immortality project they've chosen to believe in, once they have, hook-line-and-sinker, bought into some illusion of having transcended their own mortality, there is a massive reduction of existential angst and an equal release of energy and imagination (heretofore held captive) to now spend on other pursuits. And a good portion of that emancipated energy is expressed in the form of an initial euphoria (bliss) and an oftentimes obnoxious enthusiasm for finding ways to validate this newfound "discovery," while aggressively invalidating anything that might argue against it. In fact, it is not unusual for a person to love, hate, cheat, lie, kill, or be willing to die in service to their preferred illusion (myth). After all, once someone believes they have found the cure for their mortality, all other considerations become negotiable, if not expendable. They pale in comparison. And here you have the whole of human history in a nutshell. You're welcome. Go Broncos.
Well it is interesting that none of the authors of the book of the Bible ever wrote to bring credit/glory to themselves. That stands in stark contrast to anyone writing a book where there is always some selfish ambition to build themselves up. Not to mention all but 1 of the disciples (John who died of old age and wrote the last book, Revelations), died a horrible death (stoned, beheaded, crucified upside down) for their faith and stood by their belief that Jesus rose from the dead. Had they known it was a hoax, not sure why they would continue in a lie, but rather they documented their experiences. As to it written 2,000 years ago, yep it sure was. But it was not altered etc.. textual criticism of various manuscripts (over 5,000) shows the content is reflecting its original state. People say is has been 'interpreted and changed" which is nonsense. It has been translated over and over into many languages and updated to reflect changes in language (think Old English vs modern English). Jesus was not only documented in the Bible as a real person but also through contemporary historians of that day (Josephus). There has not been a single prophet, teacher, or religious leader in the history of the world that has had a more profound impact on human history as Jesus Christ. I don't see many Socrates Hospitals or charities. I don't see anyone saying Aristotle changed my life. If you want to look at what a godless society looks like, look at the evil empires of today that make being a Christian a crime (China, Korea, and others). The Judeo Christian faith has been the underpinning of free people. The message of Christ is redemption, grace, and forgiveness. We as Christians try to live a life that looks like Jesus and we don't think that our works are what makes us better. We are not better. We are just forgiven and we should act that way and show grace to others.
@@KJ-vc3sw Wow that is the biggest word salad I've ever read. Reminds me of the scene from Good Will Hunting where the guy gets up and cites all these things from 'books' he read trying to act smart but was called out because he basically knew nothing of what he was talking about. The entire point of Christianity is NOT some sort of superiority of followers over those who do not. The whole point of Christianity is a holy, infinite, caring loving God who extends grace to us.. We as Christians do not believe we are better, we believe we are blessed and forgiven. And as forgiven people who have received such a gift we want to extend that grace to others. That's why Christians by far give more to charities, rescue operations when tragedy strikes, orphans, the needy, homeless than any group in America. Your comment "In fact, it is not unusual for a person to love, hate, cheat, lie, kill, or be willing to die in service to their preferred illusion (myth)." may apply to some from other religions who would be willing to strap a bomb to their chest to blow others up who do not follow their faith. But you comment in no way reflects the mindset of a follower of Christ. We are taught: Love your neighbor as yourself. Do good to those who hate you. Love your enemies. Much respect for Boise State coach and players. They handled a tough loss very well.
