Yep, Obari loves SRW so much. :P And that beam attack fired by Sol gravillion? It's called SOL GRAVILLION ARC (named after Sol Gravion's SOL GRAVION ARC).
a little detail. the first Attack ryusei uses is the ZINE KNUCKLE, an attack SRX had only in SRW Alpha. Whereas the Geist Knuckle is the Hucky MkII Boxer (or EXbein Boxer in this anime's case)

@genredleader buah completly agreed I like the defing of the meca a lot but the best of dancouga nova was the opening..... thats all even gravion had better story but the caracters where horrible too even so I like Gravion and Dancouga ( the robots)
This scene in particular is from the TV anime SRW OG the inspectors, there is a older precuel series from the late 90es and a OVA series from arround the same time that is a secuel.
