When I went to the Vietnam War veteran's Wall memorial when it was in wake Forest north carlonia a couple years ago I took my guitar and I sang this song to the wall, I was in Vietnam 1967-68 I will meet you all again on that beautiful shore
I sang this song over and over the day I left my MaMa's body to go prepare for her funeral. Tonight I am thinking of my precious young friend Casey Joy Lamb who went home to be with the Lord at the age of 12. Tonight marks 15 years since she was struck by lightening and burst through the gates of Heaven. Looking forward to see all of my dear family and friends on that beautiful Shore.

This song has been on my mind all week, and this evening we found out my beloved d-n-l's mother passed away suddenly, yesterday, our little family and community has had a heavy amount of loss this past year - seems like everyone I know other places, is, as well. Seems there are just seasons like that, from time to time. But God is our Standby. And what sweet assurance it is among fellow believers, we know we shall be together again.
