I personally think Spell Speed should be renamed as Card Speeds for the concept of Yugioh. Too many times where I mention about Spell Speeds, people would think only towards Spell cards, not just the cards effects themselves.
As a female duelist myself, the beginning of the video caught me off-guard, but the advice is sound and beautiful (and the way you weave topics that are completely unrelated to the game into your explanations is amazing)!
Spell speeds, game state and battle phase/damage step would be good things to cover in this series. Great content cali as always it's just #TOOSTRONK XD
Please make spell speed and trap speed videos, maybe even a video that compares the speeds of monsters, spells and traps e.g what is the difference of spell speed 1,2 etc
I think a lot of people do videos on these and spell speeds. But your way of explaining it is really good. I would would suggest teaching the battle phase (maybe a shorter video ) I still think you should explain it since there are cards that active their effects in different steps. I mean that's just a suggestion you don't hafta.
You should definitely do those videos explaining how mechanics work. It definitely helps out everyone whether they’re competitive or just casuals. I think if some of your viewers have questions towards some cards that they still don’t understand I think you should put some of those questions and make it into another video clarifying or explaining it.
quick question im not good at the game but if i sommon a monster with a when this card is sommon effect and my opponents has a trap that destroys a monster when sommon and they want to activate it , how would that play out ??
If my effect of my monster is to negate all trap cards on the field until the my opponent next turn and if my monster attacked this turn but in some way my monster was destroyed by a card effect , does my monster effect of negating trap cards Continue or negate ??
How does ultimate conductor tyranno work? When you attack defense position monsters that it flipped face down do they flip back up when you attack them and does their effect go through?
He sends them to the GY directly without even touching them. You just have to declare an attack on a monstee, UCT effect activates and resolves (without battling the monster) , then you can repeat this on the other monsters
Can you chain a trap to Jinzo's summon? Was teaching a friend using a Goat deck and I wasn't legitimately sure if you could bottomless trap hole or solemn a Jinzo summon
Hey Cali I know this is old, but if you see this...can trigger effects be triggered during your opponents turn even though it has “once per turn” in the text
But how do you differentiate between conditions and continuos effect? i.e. is Kozmo Dark Destroyers "cannot be targeted by your oponents card effects" a condition or a continous effect and why?
Excellent Question! We can differentiate the two because Kozmo Dark Destroyer isn't telling us to perform a certain action without the use of a ":" or ";". So far conditions are effects that tell you to perform a certain action, but don't activate there effects.
@@thecalieffect So is it a condition or a continous effect. It doesnt include a ":" or ";" but it isnt telling me directly to do something. And all that applies for Fortress Dragon as well. They only tell me what i/my oponent cant do.
Wait... You got me confused! Conditions are card rules. 1. Cannot special summon 2. Cannot be used for X Continuous effects are effects. 1. Cannot be targeted by. 2. Cannot be destroyed by Disregard my last post as I thought you were talking about the difference between continuous effects and unclassified effects.
You said chimeratechs effect can't be negated even if skill drain is face up. Does the same go for beelze since his effect states he cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects?
This dude could probably compare Yu-Gi-Oh to a rubber band and still not sound crazy.
Well, Konami's resilience to not hit Firewall Dragon reminds me of a rubber band.
Bend the game until it's too late when it's broken.
>Playing yugioh
>Getting women
Choose one.
@Craig Wortham lol noone playing yugioh gets any
Pretty sure I get some. YOU CAN DO IT GENTLEMEN!!

Spell speeds are one of the aspects of the game I still have issues with

make a video exampling when monster effects cant be stopped by other cards like graf
When a card said one per turn, after active its effect, i send it to the graveyard and call back again, can i active it's effect again?
How come Traptrix Sera can be used during either players turn when it doesnt say "During either players turn" or "Quick effect"
So if a monster has a when a spell/trap is activated can that effect activate on my opponent turn or does it have to be during either players turn

What about Men that are looking for Men??
