I love how they change Luis character from the original. Here in the remake he's so much better, much more open to talk about himself and a little bit of lore given to him (and screen time). In the original he was more secretive and keeps leaving Leon and Ashley confused as to what he's been doing until the very end.

Also they changed his death from the original though it seems that it was his destiny to be stabbed from behind ahaha
Minecart part is very fun and intense to watch, that damn chainsaw dude is so scary.

Makes me kinda sad.. hope luis gets his own playthrough story where we get to experience his side of the story up to his being shoved in a bag and put in the basement.

A very nice improvement to the original RE4
Fun fact, in the old version when you dumped a giant into the lava pits, the gate stays open for a few seconds and the giant frashes about before sinking in, however if you step too close, the giant will pop out from the lava and drag you in instantly killing you if you dont wait for the gates to close.
It looks like they removed that in this version lol.
Love the excitement u get when u do the shooting challenge sirlirious. Perfect way to end my evening as well.
Wish that Leon kept his lighter.. and it was a treasure. and you could get two different achievements. One if you sell it. one if ou keep it till the end of the game in his memory.

Hi, I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine about those REmakes.
In 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the upcoming RE 2 Remake.
I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part... ☹
Now many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't believe I wasted such a chance.

Feck, the voice acting was on point. Luis' death gave me flashbacks to rdr2 when Arthur talks to the nun about being afraid of dying.
You just lost out on so much loot by dropping the giants in the lava than have the nerve to say "let me make sure I got all the loot in this room" smh

Beat the game multiple times, only melee/no loot pickup/specific types of guns only, never used the rocket once but watching delirious waste them hurts cause all of those times he’s used it were really easy fights tbh

What a chapter full of thrills! My favorite part to rewatch was certainly both the first and second minecart ride at 37:16 and 41:45

Yes delirious they are the same 2 giants. You save the dog and he helps you fight the first giant the cannon helps fight the 2nd giant but you only cause enough damage to drop them because they are back for round two FIGHT😅😅😅😅😅

Delirious if you shoot a enemy’s knee enough times they get stunned then you can do a different melee attack other than a kick
Edit: when they are kneeling down you have to go behind them to do it
