    Really glad you enjoyed the cars! There are a lot of great packs that are easy to pick up and have some fun tandems, but I really wanted more cars I could use as learning tools that would take some time to master. I think Arch and Excite cars provide the most rewarding physics for just that, and that's where this car pack was born from.
    The 350z is definitely not actually a 370z and you can't prove it is 😂also setting the steering angle is for both content manager and your wheelbase software if your moza software cant match the number exactly then set wheelbase to next highest and assetto corsa will soft lock the last bit of angle, it just makes sure you have accurate and full steering angle, you weren't missing out on much lock but the s13 might of had a bit more angle. They are generally low angle cars anyways, you can get them completely sideways at speed but you have to really commit 😅
    All the extra tuning is possible because of the cosmic suspension - essentially cosmic suspension is a new CSP feature that lets people create suspension for cars with less restrictions, opening up a lot more possibilities. I believe it also runs the simulation at a more detailed rate, so the FFB through the wheel should feel a bit more detailed.
    Thanks for checking out the cars! Glad to hear you're going to keep learning on them, I found learning how to drift Arch cars definitely made other cars a lot easier (sometimes boring 😂)

      Curious, having made your own pack, how do you compare these cars you made to say the SWARM pack? Or even gravy garage?

      @@iamkillball3000 i've spent very little time with both SWARM and Gravy cars. SWARM's obnoxious BoV sounds destroy my ears and irritates me, and I just don't enjoy the Gravy crab walk 😅I imagine they are probably great for logitech wheels though.
      I mostly drift Excite cars, I really enjoy Arch physics 😅not super popular online though so if i'm looking for servers it's normally WDTS or DWG so those are the other packs I have drifted the most.
      I think WDTS are probably the best non-Arch cars. DWG I used to really enjoy if you fix the errors and mistakes in the data files to get the cars working properly.
      I find these days though I get very bored with non-Arch cars, they feel very "point and drift" and I tend to just zone out and lose interest really quick.
      Love your track making videos btw, subbed to you a little bit ago!

      @@excite.winters I saw that! Thanks man, much appreciated! I too find the SWARM sounds extremely annoying lol, i enjoy the physics of them though, gravy i mostly run because they were the first pack i came across that was actually kinda grippy, was tired of feeling like i was driving on ice!
      after work today, i'm gonna break out the wheel and give these a try, i can't imagine i'll get the full experience though being on a g29 like you said but it's atleast slightly more realistic in that regard. totally get your feeling of zoning out with those cars though, unfortunately, people don't want to put in the effort to learn with harder physics, that's why tando buddies got popular in the first place.
      Thanks for replying man, this was pretty cool talking to someone who actually MAKES the cars, would love to know more!

    I downloaded this car pack. One thing I always try to remember is that a well set up drift car is easy to drive. All those adjustment options are there for a reason. As they come out of the box they are awful for drifting because they're not set up correctly.
    The physics are very good, you just gotta spend time adjusting the cars. A hard to drift car can make you develop bad habits.
    This pack isn't for beginners and it requires you to set up the car properly. It reminds me of the Excite (arch physics) pack which out of the box are nearly impossible to drift but with a good set up they hold angle really good.
    The difference between this pack (and Excite) vs DWG is that the latter comes with cars that are somewhat properly set up out of the box.
    If a car doesn't hold angle or it spins to easily when linking corners, adjustments need to be made or it leads to bad habits even if you master driving them as they are.
    This is one of the best car packs I've downloaded so far.

    • @excite.winters
      @excite.winters 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@RunClancys a welded diff is a cheap and easy way to get a car to slide, but it's not neccessary or always the most optimal for drifting - sometimes you want your wheels to be able to spin at slightly different speeds.

    • @excite.winters
      @excite.winters 10 месяцев назад

      @@dcars806 that's a long and kinda complicated topic that really varies based on your style and the track. I highly recommend either watching youtube videos on drift tuning (even for real life cars) to get an understanding of what each thing does, then just start changing your setttings you think you are having the most issue with and see how it impacts the car.
      Just about seat time and playing with things, dont be afraid to push buttons and see what happens - but yeah there's tons of info about tuning online already and it's pretty transferrable.

    Tip for steering degrees set assetto corsa to the lowest degree the game will always match the cars maximum. Then match wheel software to the steering lock of car driven.

      so true
      only reason physics like this exists is that some people just loves the challenge
      but this physics will give you so many bad habbits for irl drifting its unreal
      imagine putting eco old 195/55/15 tire on a 200+ hp car
      ofc it will be difficult, but its just dumb
