Were American Airlines Something Special in the Air. I still sing the song.
Thanks to all my AA FAMILY, and all my greatest customers ❤️
Thank you for this post! This commercial still brings back the tremendous pride of three "+" decades of employment at a company that was committed to the absolute best for its people and customers. The Silver Bird, while long gone, is never forgotten. How grand you were, and it was an honor to have been part of your gleam of excellence. Again, thank you!
Thanks for this post. As a former AAer employee from the silverbird generation, that was the spirit that guided us to work hard. Its a shame its a completely different company today. I was proud to have worked form AA during the silverbird generation. Thanks for posting this video!!
@@charliemaggionyc-commercia4362 Thank you… It was a time when the human element was recognized and honored as crucial to the success of the airline. We made a number of videos which were focused on the employee groups and to demonstrate the commitment of management to recognize that people- employees are the one who keep the company successful. Taking care of the customers properly requires a positive mindset. The video were one way of demonstrating that commitment.
Back when AA was the best of the best! I miss the silver bird!
Superb.
Thanks for sharing, brings back great memories
Used to be a great airline
This is a much nicer livery ,compared to excuse of a livery now painted on their planes .Obviously, this commercial was created after they purchased Eastern Airlines Latin American routes as well as obtaining
Eastern Airlines Miami to London Gatwick route before moving to Heathrow. I have flown in many an American Airlines, DC 10 ,especially on the Miami to LAX route. My first 767, DC 10 and 777 flights were on American Airlines. I certainly do miss the silver bird look.
