Thanks for the shout out Joseph!! I really appreciate it! You have a great channel and it is an honor to get recognized by you!! Take care!!
Any time, we really enjoy your videos and grateful for the gifts you sent. Take care
Oh yeah, getting the tractor ready for spring, great mail call. I hope you guys have a great day.
Thanks. We found that it was a great opportunity to check over the tractor and see what maintenance is required. It is good to have the warmer weather but snow over winter would have been good too. Take care
Nice work properly taking care of your chains Joseph. This will keep the chains in great shape for years and years.
Thanks. We got the idea for putting the chains in oil from Dave (RCAFpolarexpress) and hopefully the chains will last for many years to come. Take care
Great new intro Joseph 😇👍👌 Great idea to put the Hydro cylinder in to protect it 👌👍🧐 Yes do oil your chains great idea in deed 👍👌😇 The RAF is the best 👌👍🧐🚀 Dana ( 360 Alaskan Life ) is an OUTSTANDING Channel and I will go see the other channel for sure 🧐👍👌 Great coins collection and tuque 👌👍🧐 I do not think that will go A OK, with your mum have these chains into the kitchen dishwasher 🥴🤣👌 That rusty chain loop was probably missing his galvanize protection 🤔😌 but the oil will help to protect it for sure 👌👍 CHeers 🍻
Thanks. After watching your videos, we thought we would follow your advice with putting the chains in oil. The RAF are great, but can be a bit annoying when trying to record without noise in the background. Take care
If there was ever gonna be snow, you're in for it now!!! 😂 All kidding aside, you'll be ready for spring work now. I was waiting for you to discover a problem on the rear tire, but it never happened...(maybe I mis-read the description)? I also enjoy watching Dave and Lillie on his channel.👍
Thanks, we are very worried we may get snow now. Dave has a great channel and we always look forward to his next video. We made a mistake with the description of the video which is now corrected. We have just found that we have a problem with the rear tyre on this tractor which may be a future video and as we were talking about it at the time it was accidentally put in the description. Take care
Great video Joseph, nice and easy to take off the snow plough,am quite impressed on how heavy the framework is on the Bolens, you got nice stickers and gifts from your subscribers
Thanks 👍 Most of the attachements are easy to take off on these Bolens large frame tractors, it is much harder on the smaller ones. A loaders and backhoe were just a couple of the big attachments available for this tractor so I guess the frame needed to be heavy. It was also make in the time when equipment was made to last. Take care
Pretty cool gifts and stickers from Dana and Dave 👍🏻. I don’t think your plow has ever seen any snow, it looks all clean and new 😉👍🏻. Happy Easter Sunday Joseph and family 🙂👍🏻🙋🏼♂️
Thanks. The plough has only seen 1 snow storm so far - last year. Since we painted the plough and frame we are trying to preserve and protect the metal and paint as much as possible. Take care
Great video Joseph, that plough looks like a brilliant piece of kit, it's great that you can control it from the tractor too!
Thanks. The plough is very useful although it took a lot of work and time to make. The hydraulic lift and tilt on the blade makes it the ideal thing for snow clearance. Take care
The snow plow and chains look easy to remove. Nice gifts. Good maintenance on the chains.
Thanks 👍 We have only had these chains for a short amount of time so we are still getting the hang of using them. Take care
Hey there Joseph, it's good you got the Bolens stripped down from all the snow removal accessories. Of course, as you said, Mother nature will probably surprise you with some snow. Hopefully not. You did a bang-up job on those chains. It's much more than what I would have done. I would have just shoved them into a bucket with oil and sand. Have a great Easter. Please say hello to the camera man. He too has done a bang-up job, as usual. 👍🏽🙂 4/16/22
Thanks and I hope you had a good Easter too. We are worried now that we may get snow. The cameraman says Hi and thanks. Take care
Thank you for sharing your time and producing the video. I always enjoy hearing from you
Thank you very much for the kind words. Take care
Good video, Joseph, and a nice post call! That one rusty link probably had poor plating. David at RCAF polar express will be pleased to see that you cleaned the chains and will coat them with oil! Ha ha!
Thanks. After watching David's video we felt that we had no choice but to take care of the chains :-) Take care
Hello Joseph,
I like how you keep your equipment in nice shape as it should be. Nice sticker shout out as well. I guess I will be putting my snow equipment away during the week. I enjoyed your video 👍
Thanks 👍 I hope we have not put our snow equipment away too soon. Take care
Hello Joseph I hope you had a great past week and your doing well. Very nice work preparing the Bolens garden tractor for the the spring and summer seasons. Also nice job explaining the plow and locating the the lift points and the pivot point etc. which could be very useful information for someone with the same plow setup. Demonstrating how to remove the tire chains could be another good example for someone unsure of removing tire chains. The sticker video was nice to watch also the stickers from 360 Alaskin life and the stickers and gifts from Dave were very nice as well. Thank you for another great video. I'm looking forward to the next one. Stay safe and take care my friend. 👍
Thanks for the kind words. It would be great if this video helps someone install or remove a snow plough or chains. Take care and I hope you have a great week
Great video Joseph. Good maintenance on the chains and cool stickers. :)
Thanks 👍 I really do hope it does not snow now. Take care
Spring... time for mowing, mowing, and more mowing. Also, watch out for stinging insects and spiders LOL.
We have already cut the grass several times this spring. The stinging insects are very irritating some times, especially when they refuse to fly out of the workshop lol. Take care

Thanks for the visit
Putting the snow equipment away so early??...I thought you had 30 cm just last week chuckle. chuckle... These tractors are new to me. I have never had a lawn tractor let alone one with attachments to do all manner of things with. You know your way around them. Good show! That is a great way to prepare chains for storage. If eveyone did that the tire chain sellers would be out of business. Keep up thae fantastic work on your channel (and hello to the cameraman and his family) !!
LOL. Thanks and the cameraman says Hi. These tractors are very capable and we have lots of different attachments to fit them. We got the idea for putting the chains in oil from Dave (RCAFpolarexpress). Take care
Great video Joseph. I had some of my herd out today for some sunshine and fresh air. Took a snowthrower of one and put the mowing deck on.
Hoping your having a great weekend.
Thanks. We are hoping to have a bit of a move around soon and get some more of our tractors out in the sun. We need a bit more sun first though. Take care
Hello. It is Easter Sunday here and it was snowing a few hours ago lol. I have to get our lawn equipment read soon! Some really nice stickers and some great gifts too. Take care
I hope we don't get any snow now, at least until next winter when we refit the blade. I hope you had a great Easter, take care
Thanks a my friend, you making absolutely amazing content 😍💟 stay blessed 🤩 stay connected🤗🔔🤝👍🌟🌟
Thank you very much. Take care
The way that you do your chain removal is much easier than the way I do it. From now on, there will be a new way for way to install and remove the tire chains from my Kubota RTV 900.
Thanks. I am not sure following our chain removal is a great idea, we are very new to tyre chains and only bought this set last year. Take care
Great video Joseph. I’m ready for Spring as well.
Thanks. It is good to see the sun, it does feel like a long winter. Take care
The chains didn't look dirty to begin with, but the dirty water showed different. I only have put chains on once, and after a bath tn evap-o-rust, I painted mine and stored them. Nice gifts!
Thanks. Tyre chains are very new for us we only bought them last year. Take care
Hello Joseph,
Good video... I guess when you have all the tractors up and running you'll be able to have individual tractors allocated to specific tasks...
Take care.
Paul,,
Thanks. That would be very handy but I'm not sure that we have enough space at the moment to have all of our working tractors with different implements on. Take care
How's she goin'? It's getting that time of the year when we take off the winter gear eh!! Thanks for the reminder as I have to do that for my tractor as well. Pretty neat gifts and stickers you received Joseph!!! Very nice indeed. Take care!!!
Thanks. I hope your not trying to tell us we haven't taken the snow gear off too soon, that would be a worry LOL. Take care
@@GardenTractorBoy I think we're safe now!! LOL
Love the bolen tractor. . Good video
Thank you very much. They are a very strong tractor and built to last. Take care
Thanks Buddy 👍 I have your stickers on my next video too, I’m still editing it right now have a great one ☝️
We have just watched your video, thanks for the shoutout. Take care and I hope you have a good week
it's great how easily the snowplow comes off, I was never as careful with my chains, actually before I got the atv tires I just left chains on,, it seems like you are getting a lot of subscribers from the states.
Thanks. I guess we are getting a lot of subscribers from the states due to most of our garden tractors being make in the states. Take care
@@GardenTractorBoy well, part of it is, we like to see young folks working and learning more than just messing with a phone,
Nice clip !
Thanks very much
You shall not see how I remove my tire chains and plow... The later, I drag it on the concrete until its final destination. The first one, I simply hang them on the wall, as dirty as they came off the Bolens. BTW, my homemade rear 3pt hitch has a dual-action cylinder and I use it to raise the back of the tractor. Much easier to remove and install the chains that way! Thanks!
I like the idea of using the 3pt to raise the tractor. I don't think David will be happy about you doing that to the chains :-) Take care
Hey! You followed my advice😄! That snow plow is looking like new! Hydraulic angling is great, is the plow lift same as for the cutting deck? Good video with handy tips.
Yes, I thought that was a great idea. We only painted the blade and frame last year, so we are trying to protect it as much as possible. The plough lift is the same as the deck lift but the hydraulic angling is on a different auxillary lever. It is very helpful when clearing snow. Take care
Awesome video
Thanks!
Evening Joseph like the video taken the chains off the tractor did get a chain reaction I sorry my jokes get worse.
:-) Thanks, I am pleased you liked it. Take care
Nice video. What about putting the plow and chains on the deck carrier after the deck is on the HT 20? Happy Easter. Good Luck, Rick
Thanks. It would be fantastic if we could put the plough and chains on the deck trolley but we are very short of floor space and they take up less space tucked away on a large shelf. Take care and I hope you had a good Easter
Nice work Joseph ! Do you keep the wheel weights on year round ?
Thanks. We only got the wheel weights last year so it is a bit early to tell. We were planning to take them off but we thought that it does no harm to leave them on and it stops the paint getting damaged if they are stored. Take care
