Great to hear you impressions on these. The original Tanya's grew on me with their smooth, robust, and vocally present sound without being harsh. But the best is the form factor. You can easily wear these in bed and listen to music / videos on your side. Definitely glad to see they continued these and improved on them. The driver is actually quite decent as well. Very good value.
lul, its enough to drive smth like even lcd5
Thanks bro for review
your review always really good as ussual. I can't even wait for jiu to compare to another iem like tanya, lan, or wan er
Great review, Timmy! I was hoping you could review some of the Flipears IEMS. I heard the Artha is quite famous in Japan.
Waiting for the blonz300×hbb😊
Niah! Waiting for 3 dusk 🎉
And the pr2! Decently tuned planar at that price seems too good to be true!
@@STAYCBias sorry 😔 ,but I can afford blon that's why I asked for the review btw dusk will take some time cause moondrop and crin is working on it
@@STAYCBias A chill 10 times as expensive Blon HBB Z300. I haven't listened to either but I have a hard time believing that's justifiable.
Does this moondrop have the same noise floor and fade in issue as past ones? The Tanya doesn’t do that makes it way better to me.
You are a better reviewer.
Timmy is more busy making friends with other reviewers.
@@koningklootzak7788 love hobby talk but the take on Timmy is disingenuous.
The original Tanya has some of the best bass you can get in the budget space, but its tuning was never that popular with a wide audience, understandably. But with EQ it is one of the best budget IEMs out there and IMO still the best bullet IEM you can get without spending an arm and a leg. Those in the niche of Tanya enjoyers know how good this driver sounds; hits way above its price.
P.S. Tanya cable feels and behaves way better than the Chu cable.
How bout jiu?
I really like your unboxing videos.
Excuse me, did TRN add ON/OFF switches to that IEM, lol?
Kiwi Quartett
Simgot ew100
Heart sounds zero
Hbb pr2
Orcestra lite
Penon cerial
Please can you cover these in the next bite size audio
Can you do a review on the KZ pr2 pleaseee
Yes do it bro
Bro , what is your ending song name? the sound note unbelievable :D
Jiu is very tempting hmmm and tanya
Timmy will you try out the PR2 haha
I always thought the Moondrop Jiu was just a typo in an online store.
can you do review of the tanjichim one(it should be a upgraded of the tanya and zero)
what happen when the DSP cable is broken? how to change it? I mean detachable 2 pin connectors still wins right?
Is there a DSP chip inside the IEMs or on the mic cable? if one day it's broken. can we still change the cable and make DSP works?
My first Quarks DSP stopped working. Good thing I bought 3.
Does it have a delay when playing fps games? I read some comment that their previous dsp have some kind of delay, I don't know about this one.
Waiting for the TRN rosefinch review
Lots of good things are being said about him
Where is D-Fi pls bring it soon.
Congrats on your video music, Egg Rollz by jobii, baegel is a great song!, if only you'd have included it in the credits...
Edit: badly written comment. I meant that spent a long time trying to figure out which song it was, because I like it a lot.
I paid to use it.
@Gizaudio apologies, my comment sounds horrible reading it back again. I spent a long time trying to figure out what song it was, because I like it so much from your videos.
@@TWidXugA No worries lol
Timmy, I would love to ask you something ! Why do people getting so easily banned for making some ironic jokes ? Idk why in particular I got banned but Im sry for it. Hope you can answer 😅
Still loving ya vids keep it up🎉
Idk if this is the correct question to ask but how is the Tanya compared against Jiu?
wish DSP IEM would be detachable in the future
my Moondrop Quarks DSP randomly max out the volume on it own because i sleep with it and now my DSP IEM in unusable but i do like DSP tuning IEMs
wish it detachable so we can just use 3.5mm audio jack and also use the DSP tuning in DSP cable chip, so we can have the best from both world
i don't really see why company like Moondrop doesn't released a DSP Cable for specific IEMs
maybe we can have the same IEM but different DSP cable for different tuning and more high quality DAC so no more noise floor.
the only reason companies doesn't do this because they want to boost the sells so people buys the entire things but the bigger picture is people who only use Moondrop IEM will only buys Moondrop Cable because the DSP cable made specifically for that IEM Moondrop could have their own ecosystem of IEMs accessories
@@FaizalKuntzDSP 's basically are just DAC's with pre-EQ. Look at Moondrop's Little White Bluetooth Neckband. It's basically a wireless DAC/AMP, and it also has its application with parametric EQ.
@@FaizalKuntz Because that's literally buying EQ presets in the form of otherwise unnecessary cables.
@@rustyshakelford1466 you can't really have that Harmon tuning without spend $100+
DSP DAC/Chip could easily get that tuning without physically do it and lower the cost.
i try to EQ my OG Quarks to Quarks DSP, it's kinda sound like Quarks DSP but also kinda not. it would be easier if DSP cable exist to EQ it to the that driver capable off.
i mean it is necessary or not i don't know but i think there is a market for it imo.
Moondrop Jiu graph kinda looks like 7hz zero
now I'm curious which ones better
Looks more like chu/lan
Did you have the chance to try the new andromedas?
You will have to be super careful talking about the JIU out in public XD
why??
Why?
The Chu QC wasn't good enough in my case, it failed in like two weeks. The cable looks really bad again unfortunately with the Jiu
Will u review KZ pr2 (hbb Collab)?
I have issues with the Chu cable and fit. Otherwise I would buy the Jiu.
Many don't talk about this. I hate the Chu just for the rubbery cable and the fit.
I think people hype things without thinking enough about possible issues. Chu fit and cable are so bad that I prefer to use any stock mobile earphone over the Chu.
@@renatobdc for me the chu fit decent and they sounded good to me. But i had 2 pairs both of which died within 2 months. And also the cable was indeed bad. Now i have the truthear hola which has a way nicer cable and fit so ill keep these untill they stop working.
Tanya and Jiu looks soo promising. DSP won't be everyone’s choice.
Unfortunately Quarks is still way better.
@@neandrewthalnaah it's not better
@@tombesports7213 Considering that Quarks is now discontinued and I only have 1 working pair left out of 3, I truly wish I could agree with agree with you.
@@neandrewthalso it's not reliable?
Moondrop JEW?!?
Waifu doesn't even wear a Kittel, dress or kippah, this is a rip-off
As naïve as this sounds, what is DSP? I am new to the headphone space
Normal(non dsp) iems at the end of their cable to connect to a source have 3.5 (or 4.4 or 2.5) mm terminations (which are "analog" sockets/connections).
DSP iems have usb-c termination (non-analog=digital).
As the usb-c port u connect the iem is digital they put a simple built in "digital to analog converter" (simply called: "dac") in to the iem itself.
I’ll trade you Tanya’s… yours more bass than mine lol
you really love that extra bass tuning aren't ya?
@@FaizalKuntz yuuuuup hahaha
Why your Tanya has less bass?
@Hobby Talk If Timmy doesn't trade tell Tanchjim your review unit was defective because it didn't have enough bass. 😉
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Jiu vs Droplet? In terms of detail retrieval.
Jiu easily
@@Gizaudio Thanks for the fast response!
Review the KZ D-Fi
I want the Moondrop Jew
I can't wait to try the jew as well 😉
0:41 What is that im scared
Balanced MT1 is up up down. All up sounds horrendous
up to 100 dollars, which is the best for competitive games, fps, in detail and image, sound stage???
Truthear Hexa are the best out of what I own. I thread the Kimura Antlion mic (2 pin version of course) through them. Haven't played more than a few hours and I'll be absolutely amazed if I ever swith to IEMs for competitive gaming. I'd love to be surprised, but I find it very difficult to believe that very good IEMs will ever be close to very good headsets for competitive gaming.
Great on my Steam Deck/ Switch when travelling, but then I wouldn't be playing competitive FPS on a handheld device.
I am kinda new to taking IEMs seriously & I think they are much better for certain situations, but have a lot of experience with proper headsets.
@@yarbles66and would you indicate which phone in these settings for competitive?
@@guilhermedossantossouza8009 phone? I don't play games on my phone mate.
@@guilhermedossantossouza8009 i have quarks dps and truthear hola, and quarks dsp is actually very good for competitive gaming while hola is more laid sound and sometimes hard to tell the distance and sound is coming from, i also used to have the moondrop chu but it was not good for competitive gaming i would say it was too intense to the point that u cant use it for long sessions and because of of that also hard to focus since u would get fatigue very easily, i would say jiu could be a good option for competitive gaming, since quarks dsp is good and is close to harman jiu is graphs close to harman and is more detailed which means is more detailed than quarks dsp so i would go for moondrop jiu
i forgot to mention i also have the koss ksc75 and i use more quarks dsp cuz is just so good for that plus i have isolation with it but i find it something lacking so i think moondrop jiu is the answer to that
review kz hbb pr2
mondrop jew be banging
No need to review PR2. Timmy will only say great thing about PR2 because HBB is his friend. This is why I don't like reviewers being friends with each other.
I like your hoody
Review kz pr2 pls
Haha good review but just keep in mind :) that iems need to pair well with the source as well .. for the equation to work
the normal trn mt1>tangzu wan'er
please review Blon x HBB Z300 !!!!!!
Anyone tried
7hz salnotes zero DSP
Best budget IEMs to play Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?
The same best IEMs to do anything else. Why would you expect any different? Do you think there's a better IEM for Tears of the Kingdom vs Breath of the Wild lol?
dsp=bad technicalities???
linglong?
