Midnight cherry is gorgeous. Been looking for a floorstander in that special forty red kind of look..I saw the 80Fs in a shop yesterday I think they were the walnut/brown they looked stunning breathtakingly beautiful and like boutique speakers. The price was pleasantly surprising, not cheap but in a league of their own finish wise. They sounded great too, real meat on the bone, clear engaging mid range that isn't too forward or over done, relaxed yet resolving treble that's not fatiguing. Prodigious bass with a mid bass hump in the room we were in I thought, scale was huge and effortless but imaging of instruments nothing crazy. Mind you they were hastily put up and were probably not even at equal distance from the back wall to each other! Def intrigued and the feet have isolation built in, shame though as can't see a way to use third party isoacoustics feet also.
Beautiful speakers. I'm pretty sure they sound as good as they look.

are the pullout legs made from plastic or metal ?
Aluminum.. The design for structure / strength along with the coating makes them look plastic.. I assure you, they are NOT plastic.
