Note about disbelief phase 2's platforms: If you jump off the platforms and then don't move while in the bone zone you will barely take any damage so if you don't think you can dodge the blasters it is totally viable to just bait them out then bail out to take minimal chip damage
I think the sans part is fine since in the original animation it was also reused attacks from Undertale's sans fight and it was pretty weak - kind of meant to be more cinematic than actually threatening and i think it accomplishes that very well
Disbelief's second phase blue skies attack does an UNHOLY AMOUNT OF DAMAGE.
I tried in a private server to give my friend 300 hp and the blue skies attack ALONE can kill a player with 300 hp in about 1 second.
Its stupidly busted😭
heres a cool tech with disbelief, when you use bone dash in any phase (phase 1 works the best) you can jump and use the move to gain some really good distance and you can snipe people with it :)

Suprised revenge got so high on ranking considering first moves I did to him were almost a year ago(that's probably why he has such little visuals)! Happy how he turned out tho

As a revenge main I can say I definitely had a lot of fun with the rework, I like how he basically has the same play style as old revenge but with a way better moveset so it’s easier to learn for people who’ve played him before
Also tough glove + DT (im serious all ur abilities expect ariel give you DT percentage)

I really liked revenge rework and his death animation is peak 🔥 🔥 🔥
A thing you can do with revenge when he has high gaster meter is to try to get someone close to the side of the map, use bombs to trap them, and use bone wave (since the gaster meter is high it has those big explosions)
When What your main says about you but updated(just asking, keep up the good work, you deserve way more subs)
Btw i think classic map really has a mortal enemy in this update jack o sans got his new silly map being really cool and nice but it did not get a rework yet but just to him not stay at the back they reworked his spinning pumpkin atack and made him a new explosive bomb throw atack burning his enemies to ashes! He became pretty decent i guess

Revenge to me always felt like a ujd character, like when i first saw that guy i was like, "oh my god why is there so much crap on the screen right now"

From the little I've fought him and maxed him in the first day (starting with like 150 exp)
Revenge is fairly weak before his second upgrade, he's mostly hopeless unless the enemies walk into his bombs or they fall for your counter; he's always far weaker when his counter isn't working but it's mostly on base-1st upgrade.
He gets really overpowered on 2nd upgrade, making moves that used to be easy to dodge to actually hell to dodge, that and the extremely unnecesary phase 1.5 that just gives you a second chance - AND free meter - without any disadvantages asides from being more vulnerable to ranged attacks.
I think Revenge would far more fair if he didn't have a phase 1.5 and the 2nd upgrade just didn't exist. He's extremely rushable when he has no meter, so if everyone plays decently then he's pretty much cooked, as his attacks are very easy to dodge when they lack any meter buffs, things only get crazy once he gets the void explosions - which unfortunately, always happens.
Maybe a nerf to the meter and removing phase 1.5 could make him actually balanced; hp could also be a little nerfed since he doesn't need that many.
TDLR: Revenge is very dependant on his counter and the 2nd upgrade overall; specially dependant on his meter, he's nothing without it.
Revenge just gets cracked at upgrade 2. Even without his counter he's still really strong
@@wankahh Honestly I think he's the worst character of the bunch just because every other character has tools that are extremely hard to play against. Classic can put up pressure akin to the levels of Low Tier Fell with proper attack management, has unfair stuns, has great survivability, and can do great amounts of forced damage with blue burst + marrow strike. Disbelief Phase 1 is ridiculously strong, sporting a disgusting amount of survivability paired with forced damage because of how blocking works. Phase 2 also has a win button in blue skies if the platforms are spaced far enough. The rest of the phases are pretty fair but solid. Underswap Papyrus has a 3s cooldown 20 DoT move that you can position to spawn on top of your enemy. In Phase 2, you can get off insane combos if the target is near a wall. Their only weakness is attack baiting. Revenge on the other hand.... He doesn't have much to his name. His lack of long range offense paired with his over-reliance on his Gaster meter makes his long game very weak. His only strength comes with his "burst" potential, applying the most pressure in the game with the right setup, forcing even the best players to take a hefty chunk of damage. If I were to rank the reworks, I'd go like this: 1. Classic, 2. Disbelief, 3. Underswap, 4. Revenge.
The ones that bring entertainment are disbelief and UT sans because both have good range moves and let me tell you if I am allowed to use my moveset to run a bit wild then yes I'd love it.
Also dustbelief snowdin got buffed (not the upgraded one) but Undertale papyrus also got buffed which means dustbelief snowdin is still weak cuz the only new move for dustbelief snowdin is bone wave circle but it is predictable and very dodgeable..
I hope that we get a negatale rework because currently, he is the character that needs the rework the most, all the characters currently are decent enough but negatale sans is still weak, so having a rework for him and his negative form and true form will make him better.
My ranking :
1# : Undertale Sans (he is just so good although his blaster has a delay but he is good and is insane for a 10 win character, like literally most people can just main ut sans without going and checking underswap papyrus, also the combos for UT sans are good so it makes him incredibly great)
2# : Disbelief (phase 1 is really great! And is actually good, and the dash move helps a lot in helping escape the charas, phase 2 the damage is good but the attacks are mid the dash move should get taken away and be replaced with a different move tbh, just so the blink would feel more useful, phase 3 this phase is literally good and you explained it yourself)
3# : Underswap Papyrus (phase 1 is good enough to last long for the theme to feel good but also the bone wave should get a slight nerf at damage cuz it literally deals 20 damage or less, phase 2 is good as the combos are less but they are more satisfying, like slam dunk + bone smash)
4# : Revenge papyrus (this character is fine but when disbelief literally has a better phase and costs lower it just means this character is worse, like literally revenge sucks ass without upgrades, and it is a nightmare to win a round as 0 upgrade revenge without fighting skill issue people or getting lucky with rng, phase 1.5 is good but it is rushable but hey, it at least is balanced but I think revenge just needs a new move)
heres some tech for swap pap orange soul -> bone throw -> bonewave (if they’re next to the bonewave use bone stomp (if you’re lucky they’ll land in it) -> blasters
phase 2 has combos that deal all your hp but are really hard to do, one of them is knockout -> soul check -> orange soul -> the big ass bone
you can also use the flame hook to travel through the area fast
Always bone assault ariel version for getting away and dealing chunky damage, so never use normal assault unless you have phase 2.
Phase 2 and 3 of disbelief are very beatable but! Phase 4 is braindead due to the bone rows and colored walls combo meaning you are 100% gonna die. Meaning phase 4 is a busted phase, phase 3 is understandable but it is beatable yet phase 4 just requires 0 skill.

New sans so broken, like you can't even see gaster blasters when you have low quality (and yes hitboxes are broken too 💔)
The Achilles heel to revenge is Chara morphs surprisingly. All of them have high m1 damage, and Kris especially uses it well. Not to mention they come with built in mobility, as well as backup moves when a repel is landed. The OTHER huge counter to revenge is cleaver since the bleed one shots phase 1.5 for some reason. Each tick does a repel
Nah, his Achilles heel is people with patience (not the soul, but enough patience to wait for the bar to drain, navigate attack bursts cautiously, and bait the counter).

My problem with classic and swap is that you can just use snow ring and stock up on tp to heal most of the damage you have done and hard focusing them can put you in a bad situation if they did some a little more damage then I think they’ll have a better chance against snow ring but that just might me based on my experience
And then we realized that revenge was kinda bad and disbelief just being god almighty

Disbelief is easy to deal with if you're competent
Underswap papyrus can get rushed in phase 2, and people can just run away from you in phase 2 cause of your 90 second timer or something.
Revange has no planning moves, all of them are RNG or randomized, bomb is way too easy to dodge so get your one shot move outta here, he also gets negative stamina way too often cause of the stupid fucking mechanic of this game, it's also pretty much impossible to get exp with him if you haven't gotten any before [so like everyone because he was full dog shit]

I beat a revenge with max upgrades with stick all my teammates were dead as well 💀
Well i could do a hp drainer combo few hours after the update released so its not that hard to master
now i would have classic at number 1
we love combos that can wipe half a chara's hp in 1st AND 2nd phase (also if you're in a 1v1 against classic its basically gg, he can use even stronger combos on you)

the stamina cost on moves makes the phase incredibly short and you'll only really be able to get in a tiny bit of damage before dying to low stamina
that plus his stamina regen being terrible makes him not very good

My opinion:
Sans: idc about him, I'm Papa main!!!
Disbelief: phase 1 is much better now! Phase 2 became weaker. Phase 3 is cooler now, and still quiet powerful. Phase 4 is way much better now!
Revenge: still meta, nothing changed :)
Swap: very good, even without upgrades, and Phase 2 is very op!
Classic Papyrus: much stronger now! (Waiting for 4th upgrade)

Best update by far is kinda crazy, this is prolly one of the worse updates to date
Update is amazing at graphic changes and creativity, but It made the chara team unplayable, because with dustbelief and outer its extremely easy to get a win, thanks to their powerful camping and damage, so overall i think the dt rework wasnt really neccesary...
And not only that, but the reworked characters are spammy based, you dont even need to regen stamina because of the unfair spam and damage the recent characters deal
