This is definitely not the first portable skate park setup… braille was bought one awhile back on Amazon I think and your looks like a cheaper version of that… no offense my guy but this doesn’t look like a new idea

I always recommend you to people even if they have nothing to do with skating, especially filmmakers. A lot to learn from you but the main thing that you have that people can't just learn is dedication, even if the bit isn't worth it, you still go through the hassle.

No youtuber actually made me watch an ad read in a long time but this was the most entertaining shopify ad I ever saw! I hope this works out for you! Had one of these plastic ramps as a kid but that always flew around the concrete and couldn't be fixed in place was super wobbly and after a few falls it got abandoned in the gardenshed but this looks like something that could actually work, especially how mobile it is and if it really is that stable it's what I always wanted as a kid. You are a genius my Dude ♡

You should definitely design these with a bit of modularity in mind.
What I mean by that, is if you and your friend both have one of these, you can mix and match more pieces to make more insane setups together.
This concept could scale more and more for however many of these you manage to get in one spot at one time.
Also, this kinda helps encourage sales as then you really wanna convince your buddies to get one too, so you can all meet up and have a crazy shesh.
It's like the Voltron of skateparks.

This is a cool DIY project, but not sure if it's destined to become a product. Skaters are often young and or broke because it's already an expensive sport, so having skaters fund a project with no immediate gain is a bit of a stretch. If the skatecrate does make it into production, it would also likely be very expensive to buy. Plus, you need a car to haul this thing, and if you have a car you usually have access to good parks/spots anyway. It just feels like the skatecrate is too much of a niche product.
You are just trying too hard. I used to like you cause of chill vibes and creative videos. But now this is tryhard vibes for me.

Problem is its too heavy out of wood, and anything else is too light. The rail also looks super flimsy, and it should pull out from both sides of the box for goofy and regular people.
Fist video of yours I’m seeing and this is awesome! I was just thinking of something similar 2wks ago (planning a funbox build) and was thinking “how can I get multiple things into one unit to maximize skateability and so the wife won’t get mad about a skatepark taking up the backyard”

As a skater who lives in a third world Asian country. We Asian skaters have difficulty finding street spots and we have less to none skate parks.
I live in a country call Myanmar and even smaller town in Myanmar, I have no choice but to skate only flat ground in the streets.
I believe this Skate Crate of yours could potentially help skaters like me to explore other parts of skateboarding. But tbh please make it cheap bro we Asians broke

Dang that's smart. An idea that after I hear it I think "Why hasn't this been a thing for forever."
I don't skate, but the rail being two sizes seems like it would be hard to use. Is is possible to cut the bottom of the large tube out, then fit the smaller tub inside, but the smaller tube has a curved plat, or another tube cut, it would need to be like welded or somehow affixed, that would fit into the larger tube flush. (So one tube looks like a C and the other looks like a circle with a C welded to it.) Then when you pull it out you could spin the small rail, 180 and it would be flush the whole way down both rails?
Just a idea that i probably did a horrible job explaining.
Instead of fixing the thing with cement bags, you could simply stick a rubber mat underneath. is much easier than always taking two bags of cement with you.
I wish prosperity for this to work, and if it does, you should make bigger ones for BMX, and, if you don't hate scooters, you should make some for scootering

Ok so after watching your video I got inspired and started working on another style of skate crate in my head. I've worked out how to store it and how to utilize its every piece, with use of storage for your boards when it's stored. I thought about all last night. And I worked out the prototype, then after I started of thinking of ways to perfect it, and now I have 2.0 version in my head. So if you ever want to hear about it hit me up.

WE USED TO MAKE THESE IN THE 90S TO BRING TO ABANDONED SHOPPING MALL FOUNDATIONS CREATING SOME OF THE FIRST "FOUDATION" SKATE PARKS. A LOT OF THESE SKATE CRATES WERE ELFT AT SAID SKATE PARKS AND EVOLVED INTO WHATEVER WOODEN RAMPS YOU ALL REMEMBER BEING THERE AND ROTTING AWAY. COOL CONCEPT BUT BEEN DONE BROTHER NOT AT ALL HATING KEEP UP WITH IT JUST BRING M,E BACK TO MY YOUNGER YEARS LOL
Why would i need a portable ramp in a huge box that i cant transport? It's also ultra thin so i could barely axel stall.
And the round bar looks sketchy.
What are we meant to do with this? Get dad to put it in a truck and drive it to our friends house for 2 hours of skating?

Its really a great idea and seriously would make millions if it was out 10 years maybe even 5 years ago but since skateboarding went mainstream it started dying off its in a huge dive at the moment i dont think there are any pros making a lot if money right now there is probably a lot of reasons it went down but from my view skateboarding doesn't have the apeal it use to have its no longer a bad ass dangerous thing the danger being you can get in trouble for doing it not hurting yourself which is always going to be a part of skateboarding i think your idea is a seriously great one but also think you need timing to really launch this thing i think first you should wait till skateboarding picks up as it always does if anything i think efforts should be made to get skateboarding popular again

What about making the ramps half size and the box split in half to make it twice as long. Then you could also add supports so the rail stick above the box. You could also use a smaller piece of the thinner pipe to attach a pipe of the same diameter.
Sell the plans until u have enough to mass produce anybody that really wants one will buy plans and build it while simultaneously supporting your goal of mass production
