I JUST GOT IT, FOR THOSE STUCK AT 95 AT COASTAL COTTAGE, ADD A POMMEL HORSE AND A WEIGHT BENCH. WHEN YOU GET STUCK AT 99, ADD A DOG THAT YOU CAN BUY FROM GENE OR THE SUPER MUTANT IN FAR HARBOR.

Can’t thank you enough man. Spent 6 hours one day 2 years ago trying out the normal strategies presented by big channels. Tried this out today and had 0 problems getting it in a couple of hours. Finally got my plat.

Good, this metod worked so fine!! i started with 30% and i reached the 100% in 4/5 hours. If the % is locked, try to add some fruits or purified water in the workshop, the % start again immediately. Thanks bro! greatings from Italy

I was a little nervous when I had the idea to go for the Fallout 4 platinum trophy just because of Benevolent Leader, but this method was a lifesaver. I can't thank you enough for sharing it

Yes this actually worked. It was more like 12 hours for me. Got it to 95% and then nothing. Then i put up a bunch of paintings and turrets and water pumps and beds and mutt fruit. Got it to 99% and then added some more decor items and finally it popped. November 2020

I literally paused and played your video at least 20 to 30 times and placed everything exactly where you did from the bar, the beds, to the water pump.. Since the settlement system is a joke in this game, kudos to this vid! I commend playing the system for the last trophy (which is usually the case). I platinumed the game on PS4 and sold it, so I lost everything. I did the Red Rocket settlement thing to get this trophy back in the day when the game came out. But I just bought the GOTY for my Xbox One X and archived this vid for when I decide to go about attempting this! Only a level 11 right now, so I’ll wait till 40 or so to do it.. but awesome vid man! I’ll try to comment back if this worked for me. My biggest PITA achievement was the Nuka Cola ticket one.

I got the same from graygarden. Did the minimum. Put up a beacon. Left to play the game. My 3 settlers didn’t even have jobs as the robots did the farming. They just sat around all day. And then out of the blue I got the notification of benevolent leader. 🤷🏽♀️

I know you made this video like 2 years ago and you probably don’t remember but how long do you think it took you to reach maximum happiness after setting everything up?
alright after like 6 hours in total I was stuck at 99 and after I stuck a bunch of purified water and Tato/Melon into the workbench the trophy popped
I lucked out and it only took me like 30 or 45 min.
BrandMan_VIDEOS you’re lucky lol, it took like 15-20 minutes for the happiness to raise like 2-5

Thanks a lot, worked like a charm! Happiness jumped from low 70s to 90% real fast, then kinda stagnated. I got nervous and went overboard on boosters: laid down a ton of carpets and potted plants, bought a junkyard dog and trapped several cats, set up exercise equipment, even wired up all six arcade cabinets. Spent the post game running radiant quests and it finally ticked up the rest of the way to 100% over a couple realtime hours of play. That's another Fallout platinumed! (Well, I'm playing on Steam, but you know what I mean.)
A little tip for PC players: if you open the console, mouse leftclick on the settlement workshop, then type "getav 00127238" (no quotes), you'll be able to see that settlement's happiness potential. If it says 100, then rest assured because you'll get there eventually. If it's lower than that, look for any necessities you might be missing (it's easy to forget that beds need to be under cover including sleeping bags), or try building booster decorations like I did.

@@EmpSeptim Lol sorry to sound impatient, I actually saw the guide similar to yours on Reddit a few days ago and tried it. I got it set and started getting the other trophies. Now 3 days later Its the only trophy Im missing and it went all the way up from 25%. But it just wont go any further then 95%. Then I saw this video and realized you had the same set up I have, and figured you had heard of a solution. If not all good. I may have to try it with a few settlements.

Worked for me as well. At first I did everything you did but had 3 settlers. I got stuck at 95 so I sent 2 of them away and got the green up arrow.

Still works in 2020...awesome guide dude...however it does still take you 6-7 hrs for the trophy to pop...but I'm not complaining...this is way easier than any other guide so cheers

@@EmpSeptim was easily the best solution to getting the trophy. Took around 4-5 hours after setting it up and moving a settler in. Last trophy I needed too! Your video is definitely the gem for getting the trophy, I watched a handful of vids before hand to no avail lol

I can confirm that this method works! I just did it myself! The only difference that mine too quite a few hours to increase happiness from at least 16 I think it was, to 100. I might’ve done something differently though.
I just couldn't believe how easily it happened after all the hard work I put into other settlements. Glad I got that trophy. Glad you did as well!
Yeah man I did the same thing, I spent multiple play throughs levelling up like sanctuary and castle with 20 people. I mean sure it probably works but this is so much easier for such a tedious trophy.

Okay so...i copied your way and it stopped at 80%...I know Im late but I see people here getting it in 2020 or at least they get to 95...does number of mutfruits matter or water or dont know...if you can help please do try...maybe its new update that fixed but im really pissed off with this trophy

Tried your way.it kind of worked. Managed to get benevolent leader at zimonja with a lot of grinding and time but I did get 100 at coastal cottage afterwards

I did everything, even got turrets up to 35 defense to be safe, loads of food and water with different kinds of foods, 6 water with the pumps, built the house just like you did, electricity and all and even have the bar set up where the settler doesn’t randomly give up on working and you have to re-assign them..... but for some reason it’s still on 95? I don’t have any DLC but I was wondering if you know anything that I can do? I would try doing this someplace else but I don’t want to risk a bunch of materials and for it to be unsuccessful. Thanks for everything and the video! :)

I finally got it but I had to sleep, enter work shop mode, wait, put food in the workshop, build a small handful of items. I realized that it was stuck at 80% and there wasn’t an arrow pointing up on the happiness so I just had my settler follow me then reassigned her to the bar, seemed to fix it.

So you only need someone assigned to the bar

Rory Fehring so weird. All I can say is it’s a Bethesda game lol. It works for some and doesn’t seem to work for others. Try using other settlements but doing the same thing.

Just try and move stuff around. Give and take. That has seemed to help a lot of people. Adding a turret or taking one away. Adding food ect.

Fireflygamer93 I’m not sure. I just know I had been trying with large settlements for the longest time and it wasn’t working. For instance currently I only have Piper and Valentine at sanctuary with nobody assigned to anything and it’s at 94%.

The reason the marina didnt work is because it has a settler there before you get there. Any settlement that has this will not be able to max out. Was having the same problem at tenpines bluf.
