Cookie Monster ice cream 2 cups heavy whipping cream 2 tbsp vanilla extract Blue food coloring 14 oz sweetened condensed milk Chips ahoy cookies Oreo cookies 1. Whip the heavy cream, vanilla, and food coloring on medium speed until the mixture reaches stiff peaks. 2. Add sweetened condensed milk and continue to whip until just combined. 3. Chop cookies into small/medium-sized chunks. Fold chopped cookies into the ice cream mixture. (The amount of cookies used is not clear but I would try maybe 8 chips ahoy and 6 Oreo) 4. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and smooth out the top. 5. Freeze 4-6 hours or overnight.
When coating ice cream with chocolate, melt some coconut oil into the chocolate, it will set on the ice cream almost immediately (like the chocolate magic shell stuff) it'll also make a nice thin/even shell.
It works with peanut butter too. Any creamy, crunchy, or even super chunky - as long as it’s already emulsified (not the kind you have to stir the oil back into before using). There’s lots of recipes floating around the internet, all with slightly different ratios. Or you can just play around until you find the consistency you like. If I’m using a new brand/type, I start at 4 parts chocolate or peanut butter to 1 part coconut oil and add small amounts of whichever is needed from there. I also add sifted powdered sugar to the peanut butter one to give it more of a dessert sweetness.
As someone who for a brief period would satisfy my sugar cravings with a spoonful of it, I very much agree. It's delicious and it makes a really good caramel if you manage to boil the can without problems, which apparently is a thing I was lucky enough to avoid.
Toast the poptarts first, that way they're crisp, there's less moisture in them, and they're somewhat sealed from the cream. I'd also probably do the same whipped cream and maybe half a can of sweetened condensed milk thing with them. Who says you can't improve on someone's recipe?
19:40-19:48 was so funny! The “go away” and “but you’ll call me when there is a pop tart” had me dead. “I’m not gonna leave you hanging, don’t worry” 😂 You guys are so cute
Yesterday I may or may not have refreshed my subscription page for absolute ages only to realise it was Friday and I’d have to wait another 24 hours for a video. But now it’s finally here 🥳
Was listening to this more than watching at first and my first thoughts were, " How Many Coffees has she had and how many Cookies". It was very noticeable when Chris appears, his calm compared to her Energy. BEST VIDEO EVER.
The vanilla extract helps with texture as well as taste because of the alcohol content in it, so that's why the second one wasn't as soft and creamy. Pretty sure, anyway.
I am from France. We like to put english words when we speak... we think this is so cool... like we are fluent (only on our head). Rachel saying a lot of french words when she speaks is so funny and this accent is the cuttest ! I am loving it !
Next time, maybe add some coconut oil in the chocolate while melting, it will be more of a dipping consistency! I can't wait to see all of the frozen desserts this summer!! (I definitely need to try that cookie monster ice cream, thanks Rachel!)💗
Ok this video reminds me of my kids trying to tell me about there day and getting side tracked so many times.... and I’m totally here for it!! Truly love your videos x
1) if you haven't tried the chocolate peanut butter cheerios, you should. 2)recently I discovered how to make chocolate peanut butter banana "nice cream" and it's incredible. Slice and freeze some bananas, then toss some in a food processor with a couple tablespoons of cashew/almond/regular milk, a tablespoon of cocoa powder, and a spoon of peanut butter and blend. It makes like soft serve and is so tasty!
I worked at a Cafe like 6 years ago and during summer we did whipped cream/condensed milk ice-cream just like this. The one that sold the absolute best was the one with lemon curd, totally recommend doing that! Another favorite was with dumle (chocolate covered caramel candy), melted half of the candy in the cream and let it cool before we whipped it, then chopped the rest up and put in like you did with the cookies and cereals. Your imagination is the limit here, experimenting with flavors was one of the best part of my job 😁
The point of the condensed milk is for your custard base and the vannila extract keeps it smooth, check out bigger bolder baking, gemma has lots of flavours using the base recipe, yummy!
When I was in Calgary during Stampede, we got mini donut popsicles, there was frozen mini donuts in the middle of a cinnamon popsicle. The flavor was good but the wet cold donut was not my jam
My daughter had a Cookie Monster first birthday and I made that Cookie Monster ice cream, it was a big hit! I made a version one year for St Patrick's day too with green food coloring and mint Oreos! Soooo good
Listen, I was on the fryer tuck train until you brought up the names of the other appliances…. And now blenda, Freya, and franny reminds me of the next golden girls and I’m here for it!!
I’ve been watching a ton of these TickTock ice cream videos and one thing a chef said that’s actually super important just whenever you using the whipping cream and the condensed milk-you want to make sure that you blend freeze and then blend again and then freeze again. the second blend apparently makes it much more ice cream like and takes the whipping cream flavor away so it doesn’t taste like you’re just literally eating whip cream. Good luck I hope that step helps!
Dulce de leche is just caramelized sweetened condensed milk. So I bet the Cinnamon Toast Crunch one with the cereal cream plus dulce de leche would be amazing.
Hey Rachel I recently started watching you and lemme say I love your videos they are entertaining unlike the other few videos when I just get bored watching.... I have a suggestion please do few
just an idea on the cereal one, since you mentioned caramel to go with it: what if you made caramel, mixed the cereals in that, freeze that so it's solid, and THEN mix it in the ice cream? NOTE: I have absolutely no experience with making ice cream so don't quote me on it though
It can be pretty challenging mixing caramel into ice cream as it often goes icy (and that happens in churned ice-cream so I assume unchurned ice-cream would be worse)
I would love to see how creative you could get with various s’more recipes! As a fellow Canadian this could be super fun! Different cookies, different chocolate! Yes please 💕🇨🇦
You should make Taiwanese style shaved ice cream. Its a hybrid of snow cones and ice cream. It’s super easy! You freeze sweetened and flavored milk (or milk subs) in the little container that comes with your shaver and then shave it in the machine. It makes a light and fluffy but super creamy treat. We make a few different flavors (earl grey cream tea and mango are my favorites) and keep them vacuum packed in the freezer for when the mood strikes. The one we got to be able to make it at home inexpensively is the SnowFlake Ice Shaver made by Time for Treats on Amazon.
I love all of your videos and this video was amazing! I have to try these recipes sometime! And sorry to say this but I am team blueberry pop tart too. Blueberry and wild berry are my favorites
We had a shaved ice maker, and after we ran out of syrup we found something we like even more. We take lemonade powder, combine just enough water to make a syrup and pour that over the shaved ice. So yummy!
Half Baked Harvest has a No Churn Fudge Brownie Coffee Ice Cream recipe. It uses the same heavy cream-sweetened condensed milk base as that Cookie Monster recipe and is absolutely delicious.
More ice cream videos please. Some summer fruits sound good. They are all too sickly sweet for me to enjoy but cookie monster was my favorite that you made. Make more video that you get a fiz doing.
Recipe. Buy or make which I think make is always going to taste better but a typical vanilla not vanilla bean ice cream. Add butter and cinnamon toast crunch to a pan and cook to your liking I like a little bit of a dark toast to them not all of course that'd be burnt. Put the cereal and the butter on your ice cream and then a dash or so of i prefer pink Himalayan salt(I like to mix it all once in bowl) and enjoy! Perfect sweet and salty, crunchy and soft, warm(at the beginning lol) and cold!🤤 My family is obsessed with this!
I love to freeze bananas (cuted in pieces) and blueberries or some other berries. But you need more bananas than berries. And the you blend them. It is really easy, tasty and healthy. I love it so much. And you can add what ever you want.
Ps if you're ever wanting to dip something in chocolate try melting almond bark and mixing it with a tiny bit of oil. Really smooth and sets up quickly
Blenda, Freya, and Franny. You can say they're 3 B.F.F.s! Out in culinary adventures together!! ;)
I love this!
Friar Tuck also fits into BFF just saying. 🤷♀️
@@carolinec5010 nah, then it would be more like BFTF or BFFT

Cookie Monster ice cream
2 cups heavy whipping cream

Chips ahoy cookies
Oreo cookies

Thank you so much!!
When coating ice cream with chocolate, melt some coconut oil into the chocolate, it will set on the ice cream almost immediately (like the chocolate magic shell stuff) it'll also make a nice thin/even shell.
That’s so cool! I always wondered how that works!!

Shelby....YES! I was just going to comment the same thing!
@@kenzielater1378 I don’t think she can do almond I believe she has a nut allergy.
You can try out some of the desserts from Anne Reardon. She has great recipes.
I really like Friar Tuck.
Fryer Tuck*** 😅
@@MsWnDrLnD you’re right! I should have spelled it this way.
That name should be saved for an air fryer.
Team Blueberry pop tarts! Also, I love Fryer Tuck for the air-fryer. Franny and Fryer would be an awesome duo!
‘Measure with your heart’ my new motto for everything I measure now 😂❤️👍🏼
How did Chris immediately know that “I don’t like those bits on top” were 7 words without counting them? Who is he?
Sweetened condensed milk is literally the NECTAR OF THE GODS!!!

Cereal taste test! Yes please! Cotton Candy Cap'n Crunch is a must try 💗💗💗
The vanilla extract helps with texture as well as taste because of the alcohol content in it, so that's why the second one wasn't as soft and creamy. Pretty sure, anyway.
Also I think that in the second one there was "regular" milk along whipped cream and condensed milk? That lowered fat content and added lots of water
"wake up and choose violence" is a never ending meme but i love it help
